The next round of Daeva Care brings more improvements to Atreia. We have some great changes ready for you, which will be available starting 5th July. Look forward to all this:

NCSOFT reduced the chance of looted items in Nosra and Esterra in an attempt to combat bots. In Europe though we do not have such big problems with bots and we’d like to make farming more rewarding for you. For this reason we are introducing a permanent increase to the chance of loot items.

Initially we want to start out with an additional 50% in Nosra and Esterra and then observe the effects, so that we can then adjust the rate as the weeks go on.

We would like to say thank you for your feedback on the Kumuki Event, which will now be running every two weeks for one week. As the event is not really designed for the farming of items, the rewards are a little less valuable than they were, but are much more useful instead.

We’ve realised that you guys love the Runatorium Ruins just as much as we do. For this reason, we have decided to increase the entrances for Gold Pack users from 1 to 2.

We hope that this change only improves your game experience.

The next round of Daeva Care brings more improvements to Atreia. We have some great changes ready for you, which will be available starting 5th July. Look forward to all this:

Don’t matter what the weatherman says, cause in AION it’s getting hot this summer! Charge into some heated PvP battles from 21/6 to 5/7 or show off your courage and bravery together with your friends in PvE.

Additionally it’ll be worth your while to pay the Black Cloud Merchants a visit: you can once again win valuable prizes in the Shugo Game!

Event duration: 21/6 to 5/7/2017
Minimum level: none

Earn rewards based on your point score that you increase by completing quests. At the end of the event, there’s even rewards for your class and your faction!

• The event does not demand a minimum level: participation is based solely on the requirements of the quests. (You’ll find a list of the quests further below.)
• If you complete these quests, you will receive points. As soon as you reach a certain amount of points, you will receive rewards.

This time we have changed the reward system a little: the best players will not get their own rewards at the end of the event. Instead, all AION players can look forward to something new, that is more fun for everyone:

• Rewards will go to your faction when it reaches a set point score on your server. After completion of the event, the rewards will be sent out via an in-game survey.
• Rewards will also go to your class if it reaches a set point score within your faction. You’ll find the rewards in an in-game mail after the event completes.

To ensure that you have a better overview of how you are doing compared to others, we have put an event ranking table online. Alongside your own position, you can see how others are doing – provided you are in the top 100 for your class, faction and on your server. The ranking will be available shortly.

Notes:

• The rankings will only be updated every half an hour.

The Black Cloud Merchants are once again running their popular Shugo Game, in which you can win valuable prizes from 21/6 to 5/7 – including the Shark Leader's Weapons Chest, the Shark Leader's Accessories Chest, Antriksha's Equipment Chest, the Farside Lightning Dragon King's Sublime Weapons Chest and much more



To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you can purchase in the AION Shop from 21/6.

How the Shugo Game works:

• Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
• Then, by clicking on 'Continue', the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used up.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn reward of the highest level.
• Naturally you can click on 'Stop' at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
• The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
• By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successfully upgrading increase and it is more likely that you will win more valuable prizes.

The summer entices your Daeva not only with the wonderful weather, but also with some practical improvements. Look forward to the following in the latest patch:

• Optimisation for Siege Warfare
• Easier Instance: Ashunatal Dredgion
• Changes to the High Daeva Instances
• Character appearance transference

Too many players online, causing sub-par performance levels? This function will let you improve your game’s performance in fortress battles and/or in PvP. The graphics setting reduces a selection of graphical options, improving performance. It can also be activated and deactivated at will. The quickest way to toggle it is the keyboard shortcut SHIFT + F11.

There’s another reason to smile with an instance where we have made it slightly more accessible: Ashunatal Dredgion. To battle!

The following instances are now also a little bit more accessible:

• Elemental Lord's Laboratory
• Adma Ruins
• Arkhal's Hideout
• Library of Knowledge
• Kroban Base

Additionally, these instances have been expanded to include more quests that earn you experience points. You can find these quests with Boborunerk in Nosra/Esterra or in your capitals. Once you have completed these quests once, you will be able to accept the repeatable version of them. These quests are:

• [Instance/Group] Repeat Task: Adma Ruins
• [Instance/Group] Repeat Task: Elemental Lord's Laboratory
• [Instance/Group] Repeat Task: Arkhal's Hidden Space
• [Instance/Group] Repeat Task: Kroban Base

No matter if your character is picture perfect or completely repugnant, from now on you’ll be able to easily save their appearance with a screenshot.

Simply take a screenshot during character creation or character adjustment and share it with your friends and fellow players. The saved appearance can then be applied to a new character or an existing one.

The transfer will carry across all settings that were made during the character creation. The gender or appearance of armour and weapons are unaffected.

You can click the new Save button within the character settings screen to create a specially formatted screenshot that contains your character’s appearance. To save the appearance of a character who you are currently playing with, simply use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + Print Screen.

The screenshots will by default be stored in the AION screenshot folder – under a name like ‘AionCustomize####’ (e.g. ‘AionCustomize0001.jpg’).

To change the appearance of your character using a screenshot, click on the appearance button within the character creation menu or use a Plastic Surgery Ticket or a Gender Switch Ticket.

Note: the files can be exchanged with others and they will still work, provided they are not edited. Please be careful with files you receive on the internet from unknown sources.
