Are you a passionate collector of luxurious equipment? Then you will be pleased to hear that there is a Shugo waiting for you in Pandaemonium and Sanctum, who shares your passion for high-quality wares: Luxusnerk will be offering top notch weapons, armour and accessories from the 8th March onwards.

But there is one catch to this news - the items have been enchanted and will disappear automatically on the 15th March, unless you can break their curse in time.

How does this work? It's simple: upgrade weapons and armour with enchantment stones to the maximum conditioning level and the items will then be exchanged for same-value items that you can then keep permanently.

Weapons and armour at conditioning levels 17 or 18 will be exchanged for Master Executor's equipment. Weapons and armour at conditioning level 19 will be exchanged for Master Executor Commander's equipment.

Accessories need to be improved to levels 5 or 7 so that they can be exchanged for Commander's accessories. Accessories at level 7 or higher will be exchanged for Master Executor Commander's accessories.

For all of the following events in which you can improve your equipment, we will be offering you the weapons of the Lightning Dragon King. (You will receive an in-game message from us and will then have to enter the number of the item that you wish to receive.)



Strengthen your bracelet to increase your chance of success on the battlefield. If you successfully improve it, you will receive a valuable reward for levels 1 through 9. If you manage to upgrade your bracelet from level 9 to 10, there is a special reward.



There are countless dangers lurking in Atreia. Put on the best equipment you have and crown it off with a powerful feather. Using Upgrade Serums you can improve them to levels 1 though 9 for a valuable reward. If you manage to upgrade your feather from level 9 to 10, there is a special reward.



Teach your enemies the meaning of fear and improve your Abyss equipment from update 5.3 (High Guard Praetor’s and High Archon Praetor’s equipment) to level 20 and you will receive a special reward (there are no rewards for levelling up to the other levels). A full list of the Abyss equipment items that can be enhanced for rewards can be viewed further down this news post.




Upgrading your items to levels 1 to 10 will earn you numerous useful items – no matter how often you reach these levels. The following rewards are available:

Notes on the exclusive title:

• The title is only temporary and can be worn for a limited time.
• It will be given at the end of the event and is only valid on the server that you received it on.

Additional information:

• Rewards are not immediately sent to your character - instead they have a minor delay (up to 24 hours).
• You can upgrade as many feathers as you like, but the feathers you use have to be the types with the word "enhanced" in their name. For every feather of this type that you upgrade to between levels 1 and 10, you will earn a corresponding reward.
• Only feathers that are upgraded during the event period count. Rewards will not be awarded for feathers that were already improved prior to the event.

Take part in a draw and win some exciting prizes! To do so, all you need to do is use the items ‘Holy Upgrade Serum’ or ‘All-Powerful Enchantment Stone’ during the event period. It does not matter if your improvement is successful. The version of the item that you use for improvement (e.g. can/cannot be traded, Jakunerk version, etc.) is also unimportant. You will automatically take part in the draw. You can increase your chances by using both items.

Once the even is over, we will draw three prizes per server (3 x 8 winners = 24 winners). If you count amongst the victorious, we’ll send your prize to you via an in-game message. The prize will then be sent to the character on your account with the highest level.

The High Daevas have returned and are now facing the ever-growing danger of the dwindling Aetheric Field. Alongside this there is a new max level to attain and preparations to be made, as a reawakened terror will soon rise.
Even outside of the game servers, the last year was one of great excitement and events, with the first ever AION Meet and Greet, grand live update streams and the first Gameforge-exclusive events and functions.

Naturally we wanted to celebrate this anniversary with you and to do so, the coming days and weeks have got plenty in store for you!


Ereshkigal has re-awoken and is now threatening all Atreia. The High Daeva will need to protect Atreia from total destruction and face her invading army on giant battlefields around Pandaemonium and Sanctum.
Update 5.4 will be live on the European servers in April and in doing so, will be tied in directly with 5.3.


A 100% XP Boost event already started last week in celebration of the anniversary – and on 1st March, we want to join you in celebrations directly in-game!

Our GMs will be paying you a visit on the servers and will have a good few surprises up their sleeves. Once the joint celebrations are over, your task will be to defeat them!
Those that can survive this test of strength and then defeat the GM in under 5 minutes will have earned themselves an additional reward. Start: Asmodians (Pandemonium) - 16:00 CET, Elyos (Sanctum) - 16:30 CET.

On top of this, the Cake Hunt returns! There'll be birthday cakes appearing all over Akaron for the whole day – but be careful: the majority of them are traps and only one of them will give you a buff when you find it.
(The buff cannot be stacked. You can then earn it again once it expires.)


What's a birthday without presents? We'll be sending yours via survey that will be available from 1st until 5th of March 2017, so don't forget to log in!

The 14th February is Valentine's Day. The preparations are already in full swing in Atreia and the towns have been decorated most splendidly. It seems however that some mysterious fountains have also appeared in Sanctum and Pandaemonium during the preparations. According to rumours, Aion personally created them to thank Daevas and to provide them great joy on Valentine's Day. Collect Magic Blooms from 14/2 to 21/2 and throw them in the fountains. You will either receive a Gift of Magic Blooms or a Special Gift of Magic Blooms, containing even more valuable items. A full list of all rewards can be viewed in the table further below. However, there is a chance that you might receive a Faded Magic Bloom. Its magic has long since faded, making it worthless to you.

There are plenty of ways to earn Magic Blooms:

Pay Lilly a visit near the fountain in the capitals. She will give you a Magic Bloom once per day.

For every hero trial that you complete during the event period, you will receive a Magic Bloom in addition to the normal rewards. This way, you can earn 3 further Magic Blooms by doing the hero trials each day. Please note that the correspondent daily hero trials are always swapped out at 9 AM.

You can loot Magic Blooms from bosses in instances. As a reward for your courage, you will receive a whole Basket of Magic Blooms.


Travel to Signia and Vengar to pick flowers out in the open. For Asmodians, only the red versions are important; for Elyos only the yellow ones. In Akaron there are also White Magic Blooms growing, which can be used by both races. But be careful: your enemies will not be handing you the blooms without a fight!

In addition to the blooms you also receive one of the following items with every pick you make, which give you additional boosts to your attributes:

Prove your worth in the Gold Arena's new tournament system. A total of 32 brave players fight here in merciless duel-style battles for honour and glory. Enter the competition and defeat one opponent after the other. (Please note that only High Daevas can enter the Gold Arena.)

Got some medals and Abyss Points lying around? Head to the Hall of Fame (Elyos) or the Temple of Honour (Asmodian) to get yourself some new armour for them!

Strengthen your High Daeva and their abilities: the new Estima system gives you the opportunity to receive even more Creation Points, letting you head into battle even stronger than before.

It's time to wear the Lord's Bracelet! The accessory has been given additional attributes if you are able to successfully improve it. Depending on the level, the appearance changes and you will be able to unlock manastone slots.

What's more, there are plenty more improvements coming, including to the flight and resurrection systems. Additionally, the revamped fortress battles are now even more fun – try them out for yourself!
