We held a live Ask AION at our Meet & Greet event in Cologne in August, where the people who took part were able to pose their questions directly to the NCSOFT representatives and to the AION team.

Your heartbeat accelerates, you feel the blood rushing through your veins. The Daeva in front of you on the battlefield is just like you, except for one thing: they are on the wrong side. Your grip tightens around your weapon and you prepare to give your all in the decisive battle. Suddenly you sense someone's breath on your neck – the hunter has now become the hunted...

Show your mettle in PvP from 14/12 to 28/12 and get as many kills as you can without falling victim to your enemies. The more wins you get, the bigger your reward.
There's also an additional reward for the best of the best: if you manage to rise to the top of the rankings and log the most wins, you'll earn even more valuable items – including a Water Dragon Weapon Box.

Event period: 14/12 to 28/12/2016
Minimum level: 65
Earn rewards based on the amount of your PvP kills.
The best fighters also receive special rewards.

In this PvP event, every Daeva that reaches a certain amount of kills during the event period will be rewarded with useful items.
Additionally we want to determine the best PvP battlers for each class. We will be rewarding 176 players (one per class, server and faction) with particularly valuable items for getting the highest kill count within the event period (compared to all other players in their class).

To win, all you need to do is get the most PvP kills in the event period. Please note the following however:

• Your character has to be at least level 65.
• Only direct kills count, assisting a kill will not.
• Each kill of the same player only counts once per hour. So if you keep picking the same targets, you will no longer be rewarded with points.
• The kills only count if they are in Akaron, in the Abyss and in the Silentera Canyon at particular time periods.

Here's the schedule:
14/12 to 18/12: Silentera Canyon
19/12 to 22/12: Abyss
23/12 to 28/12: Akaron

According to the amount of kills that you reach, you will get different rewards. The following applies: the higher your count, the more valuable the items! These will then be sent to you using the Shugo Messenger (delivery times may vary).

Location: Sanctum, Pandaemonium (by the big Solorius tree); Nosra and Esterra

It's snowing in Atreia! Yet these Snowflakes aren't merely frozen water. They're true gifts from the heavens and grant you precious items.

Visit Snorinerk by the Solorius tree in the capitals or in Nosra and Esterra. She'll give you two Snowflakes per day.

Double-click the Snowflake in your inventory. It will either increase by one to three levels, or it will be destroyed. In the case of the latter, you'll receive a Crystal of Chance (see below), as well as additional items such as Shugo Game Tokens for taking part in the Shugo Game. It all depends on the level – the higher the level of the Snowflake, the more valuable the rewards.

If your Snowflake reaches the maximum level 10, clicking the Snowflake one last time will transform it into a Snow Crystal and an Aura Fragment. There is also a chance of receiving a Snow Crystal from level 4 – either when the Snowflake is destroyed, or as a by-product when levelling up (the matching Aura Fragment can be found in the AION shop).

Combine the Snow Crystal and Aura Fragment together and you'll receive a Prisma – an extraordinary bundle that conceals a particularly valuable item, such as a Solemn Oath weapon, a Greater Manastone Bundle for High Daevas or a Makarna Armour Chest.

Crystals of Chance which you receive from destroyed Snowflakes can be brought to Snorunerk until 4/1. For every 10 crystals you'll get a further Snowflake.

Alternatively you can also loot Snowflakes from instance bosses (each group member will receive one flake for a victory). Just like the Aura Fragments they'll be available in the AION shop too starting on 7/12.

The Black Cloud Merchants are once again running their popular Shugo Game, in which you can win valuable prizes from 7/12 to 28/12 – including the Hell Steed, Water Dragon King's Noble Weapon Box, Box of Refined Feathers of the Lord, Holy Upgrade Serums and much more.

To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you receive from us once during the 'Snow in Atreia' event (more information above). Alternatively, they will also be available in the AION Shop from 7/12.

How the Shugo Game works:

• Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
• By clicking on 'Continue', the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn a highest level reward.
• Naturally you can click on 'Stop' at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
• The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
• By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successful upgrading increase and more valuable prizes can be obtained.

Note: If you log out or switch to a different character during participation in the Shugo Game, you will automatically be given the prize for the level that you have achieved to that point. The game cannot be continued.
