Unseen since 1986/7, these two characters are updated to fit with the 4th revised edition. If you have the 'Standard Characters Only' House Rule on, you will not have the Pirate or Ninja in your game. Re-Join Online Games - You can now re-join an online game without everyone having to leave and resume. If you are disconnected, or need to leave for any reason, you can re-join the game later by selecting it on the online games screen. You will return to the game at the start of the next turn.
Bug fixes (there have been many more than this, these are just a select few)...
Couldn't evade the Battle Hulk if it was encountered after casting Metamorph. Weakness spell could be cast on someone with the Amulet. Fireball spell had no effect against the Living Statue. Bug with Pathfinder and Misdirection fixed. Doppelganger was incorrectly gaining a bonus from the Bolster spell. Fixes to some achievements that were not working correctly - Ghoul and Denied achievements plus others. AI would sometimes cast Healing on other players when it would have been better cast on itself. Fix for crashes when someone leaves and online game. Blizzard now affects the Dungeon region. Alchemist & Tinker Imp bug fixed. Elixir of Life was giving the wrong roll results. Players wouldn't be able to roll for the Reaper's movement if they rolled a 1 and tried to move past the Sentinel but lose. Fixed the Bag of Carrying constantly appearing after being used. Fixed Amazon vs. Martyr ability issue. Crash when sacrificing a follower with the Book of Diablerie at the Prison Cell space. Misdirection cast on a character in the Inner Region was causing the game to stop. Fixes to Italian text. Increased the value of the Fate Stealer to the Gambler. Fixes to the Character Select house rule for online games. A player with the Torch from the Dungeon could move the Reaper if one of their movement rolls was a 1, even if they used the other result. Fixed an endless loop with an AI Elf and the Herbalist card. Fixed too much glowing on spaces you can move to, which was causing crashes on lower spec machines. Removed the Auto Join feature for online games. It was causing many connection problems. Fixed being able to use the Cloak of Feathers at the Crown of Command to leave the space. Choosing to hand in 1 follower and lose 1 life at the Vampire's Tower was causing a crash. Ghoul character could use more than 1 raised follower in battle. Sage could cast Twist of Fate if he had no fate, when re-rolling for his movement. Swashbuckler could add 1 to his roll for the Carnival card incorrectly. Resumed online games were ignoring some house rule settings, causing de-synching and crashes. The Knight could not give 1 gold to a character if their alignment was good. You couldn't use the Orb of Knowledge (or Prophetess' ability) on the Monster Pit space. Marked for Glory now only works for the next die roll. Stopped Clockwork Owl from working at the Cursed Glade. Oaths of Vengeance card wasn't giving a modifier to the Amazon if she was redoing a battle. Danse Macabre ending -1 effect was happening when dicing with death. Charmed Animals couldn't be used more than once against the Ice Queen. Fixed ' is the host' online message with no username shown. Fixed being able to draw a new spell with the Wand if the previous spell you cast was Destroy Magic. Fixed corrupt card images displaying when you switched between windowed and full-screen modes. Fiend Slayer follower didn't work at the Monster Pit. Crash fix - encounter the Summoning Circle space if there is an enemy already there and it is the only enemy in the Dungeon. AI speed setting now affects the 'start of turn' delay, speeding the game up a little. Fixed characters fighting themselves after being teleported away from the Crown of Command space. Fixed the Elf AI returning to Woods spaces which contain objects he cannot have. Fixed being able to select 0 lives to heal at the City Doctor. Cards being looked at because of the Crypt Keeper or Treasure Chest are no longer hidden to other players. Fixed a crash/hang that would occur if you ditched more cards than you would have drawn on a space.

The game now runs at a silky smooth 60fps.
You can now change the number of players in an online game from the lobby screen. Use the + and - buttons to add player slots or remove slots. This will also kick players from the game if they were in a slot which was removed.
You can now click on card names in the Game Log and the card will appear for you to read.
New House Rules - Standard Characters Only - the game will only use characters from the base game and official expansions. Treasure Card Rewards - Requires Dungeon - Upon completion of a Warlock Quest, players may choose a random Treasure Card or a Talisman as their reward. Random Treasures - Requires Dungeon - Whenever you gain a Treasure Card, you are given a random one rather than being able to choose one. The House Rules list is getting rather large and we will be re-arranging it soon so that it's easier to use.
Fixes -
Achievements which required a goal to be completed several times (Trophy Master, Online Adventurer, etc.) were unlocking too early.
Online games - looking at any of your cards during another player's turn caused the game to pause for everyone.
Online - Players remained as AI players for the rest of the game if their timer ran out during character selection.
The 'View Board' option would sometimes get stuck lower down the screen if many options had been available.
You can now cast Path of Destiny on a Toad.
Freeze & Reflection spells weren't working correctly together.
Fixed having to click 'Encounter' twice when encountering a Spirit as the Necromancer.
A scroll-bar has been added to the online chat window.
Runestones weren't working correctly in online games and causing mismatched choice errors.
AI's evaluation of the Sky Screecher improved.
Druid wasn't gaining the correct number of spells from the Woods if he landed there because of Transference.
Necromancer couldn't use more than one enthralled spirit at a time.

Apprentice Mage now available! The Apprentice Mage is still learning her skills and must roll to see if spells succeed if her Craft is 6 or less. She becomes much more powerful once her Craft reaches 7, when she will always have at least 2 spells. After observing other characters casting Spells, she can choose to draw those Spells from the top of the Spell discard pile. Those of you who have purchased the Gold pack or the Season Pass will automatically have the Apprentice Mage available in the game now.
Online overhaul! We've made huge changes to the networking and the game does not rely so much on Steam's servers anymore. We still use Steam to gather player names so you will still need to be signed in and online, but we have switched to a system called Photon to handle communication between players. We hope this fixes the connectivity issues some of you are having so please let us know if your onlines games are better or worse. If worse, give us as much information as you possibly can and we'll look into it. The iOS and Android versions also use this Photon system and we expect to include cross-platform multiplayer in the very near future so everyone can play together!

Fixed a 'mismatched choice' error if 'fake' followers were being used in online games (Ghoul's raised trophies for instance).
Fixed a 'mismatched choice' error if certain house rules were being used and then an online game resumed.
Fixed a 'mismatched choice' error if a player used Lucky Charm and then didn't roll for the number they chose. This could be done by rolling for movement, then using the Lucky Charm before re-rolling with fate, then choosing a die result from the Lucky Charm and then choosing NOT to re-roll.
German text error - Random spell card.

AI Priest is will use his Destroy Ability if he cannot beat a Spirit.
Black Witch could sometimes move the Reaper even if she hadn't rolled a 1 for movement.
You could not view character cards after resuming an online game.
The Celestial Bauble could not be used to defeat the Nightmare.
Summon Spells now have +2 to their attack when summoned at the Runes spaces.
The Divine Protection spell now protects life loss against summon spells.
Players could use a Raft to move to a space with the Barrier spell on it.
AI players could get stuck if you cast Path of Destiny on them in certain sitations.
Fixed a bug where an AI Leprechaun player would get stuck if you cast Misdirection on him and he then rolled a 6 and chose to Teleport.
AI Toads are slightly more intelligent when it comes to choosing which space to move to.
If you played as the Elf with the Reaper pack on and rolled a 1 to move to a Woods space, you could then move the Reaper after your turn if you teleported to other Woods spaces.
Gambler could Reduce the Odds when rolling for Death in a Dice With Death.
Fixed a bug where you could not encounter cards dropped on a space due to someone casting Mesmerism and taking a Mule/Horse & Cart.
AI Leprechaun would choose to use the Flying Carpet instead of his own Teleport ability if he rolled a 6. Maybe he just liked the plush carpet?
Warhorse was not discarded if its owner lost their last life.
Fixed not being able to give the Jester to another character you defeated.
