The WARMACHINE: Tactics Beta is currently available through Steam Early Access. Updates made every two weeks introduce new content and features, and weekly updates (or more often) address bugs and functionality issues as we receive feedback from our community of players. The functionality of the online multiplayer experience is nearly complete with leaderboards soon to follow. Also finishing up shortly will be the single-player No Man’s Land campaign, AI Skirmish mode, hot-seat mode and asynchronous (play-by-mail).

EARLY ACCESS STANDARD EDITION — $39.99 The Early Access Standard Edition currently includes access to the Beta (which will upgrade to the feature-complete Standard Edition upon its release), four playable factions (Cygnar, Protectorate of Menoth, Khador, and Cryx) for multiplayer and single-player levels from the upcoming No Man’s Land campaign.
Soon to be added to the Early Access Standard Edition are the following content and features:
• No Man’s Land single player campaign — 21 dynamic, story-based missions played over 21 unique maps, following journeyman warcaster, Lt. Allison Jakes through her epic journey to avenge her mentor and save her kingdom from an ancient evil. (Expected delivery: Late November)
• Custom Coloring System — A highly detailed toolset that allows you to customize the look of every unit in your squad in mind-blowing detail.
• Hot-Seat mode — Play head-to-head on the same computer.

• AI Skirmish Mode — Choose a faction, build a squad, and test your mettle against a computer-controlled force.

Known Issues
Strakhov's Overrun ability is currently unavailable.
Siege's Breach feat will expire on all enemies when one enemy is hit.
Strakhov's Iron Fist grants charge bonuses to friendly units, instead of causing enemies in his control range to be charged with bonuses.
Strakhov's Iron Fist does not grant Pathfinder.
Strakhov is not immune to some Fire attacks.
Severius cannot cast Defender's Ward on himself if Eye of Menoth is active.
Serverius's Ashes to Ashes hits more than 6 units within 5 squares of the target, and hits additional targets even if it misses.
Siege's Ground Pounder targets enemies instead of targeting an area on the map.
Asphyxious's Teleport will not accept destinations he could not normally move to.
Units participating in a Combined Ranged Attack may sometimes be able to block LOS to other participating units.
Units performing Combined Melee Attack will do a Ranged Attack aiming animation.
Units performing Combined Ranged Attack do not Aim at their target.
Units can execute a combined attack by themselves, though do not receive any bonuses to their attack as a result.
Revenger Repulsor shield does not push targets it hits or units that attack the Revenger in its front arc.
Casting Windrush while affected by Shadowbind will cause the player to become stuck and force the player to end Sorscha's activation prematurely.
Heavy Warjacks cannot trample through small-base units that are adjacent to one another.
Heavy Warjacks cannot trample if their trample movement would incur a free strike.
Set Defense does not increase defense against slam attacks.
The player cannot end the Trencher's activation while targeting with the Smoke Grenade.
Units sometimes will show incorrect facing after moving diagonally or hit with a Free Strike.

There is now a confirmation when a unit makes a run action or the player ends the turn. These can be turned off in the options menu.
Quick Match has been added! Quick Match will automatically connect to you any player using quick match and the same map.
2 Warjack requirement for squads has been lifted. Note: The Warjack points for Warcasters will keep their doubled value.
A Chat button has been added to the top of the match screen. This opens a Steam chat with your current opponent.
At the end of a match, the option has been included to add your opponent to your steam friends list.

Fixed a crash that would occur if a warcaster died in the maintenance phase from continuous fire or corrosion.
Exemplar Cinerator's Weapon Master feature now properly boosts the damage of their melee attacks.
The Gun Mage's Critical Brutal Runeshot now shows the appropriate probable damage when targeting an enemy.
Stryker's Earthquake Spell no longer inflicts damage.
Warcasters no longer forfeit their movement when casting spells after standing up from a knockdown.
Spray Attacks now ignore Stealth and Concealment.
Cull Soul now grants Cryx Warcasters 2 Focus Points for every soul.
Flameguard Cleanser's Incinerate will now cause damage on the initial hit, and on any units that move through the persistent AOE.
Flameguard Cleanser's Incinerate AOE will now scatter on a miss.
The Defender Warjack can now trample!
Repenter and Flameguard Cleanser's flamethrower no longer continuously fire.

No more fixed builds. No more wishing you had a different configuration of warjacks and warriors. Now you can. Using a point-based purchase system, you can customize your squad load out from your available roster of units to your own specifications and style of play. And with new units appearing in the game every week, the options for how you construct your squad will be almost limitless.
To test your squad building skills, today’s update also includes a new warrior unit for each faction:

Khador’s IRON FANG PIKEMEN join the Motherland’s army, protected by heavy armor and tower shields and armed with powerful blasting pikes that can crack the iron-hide of the toughest warjacks.
With rune-inscribed magelock pistols, the ARCANE TEMPEST GUN MAGES unleash magically enhanced firepower against those who would threaten Cygnar.
Armored in the mighty steel plate of fallen brothers that has been blessed with the words of Menoth, the Protectorate’s EXEMPLAR CINERATORS carry both the fire of the Lawgiver and the sacrifice of their fellows into every battle.
Iron Fang Pikemen have been added to the Khador Faction!

Putting focus into Stationary Units will remove the Frozen visual effect, even if the Stationary Effect is not yet shaken.
Units will appear to sink into either platform in the Forest Ruins map when standing on certain squares.
Units can move through the stone blocks near each deployment zone in forest ruins.
Trencher Smoke Grenades and the Flameguard Cleanser's Incinerate produce concealment, but do not function as Cloud Effects.
Slamming a model into another model does not cause collateral damage or knockdown to the second model.
