Humans love speed. From childhood cheetah facts to the ever-popular “race you there!” challenge, we have an innate infatuation with going fast. French hypercar manufacturer Bugatti has always understood this. With record-breaking hypercars like the Veyron and Chiron, Bugatti has captured the hearts of gearheads for decades. Now, they’re bringing that same heat to Rocket League!
Obtain beautiful speed with the 90s-inspired Bugatti Centodieci Bundle, available for 1100 Credits from December 19 to January 3.
Bugatti Centodieci
With a power output of 1,177 kW/1600 horsepower, the Bugatti Centodieci represents peak hypercar performance, but it also takes a great deal of design inspiration from its namesake: the EB110.
Sporting a modern version of the iconic horseshoe grille, the original EB110 defined a new generation of Bugatti. When it first launched in 1991, the EB110 was the fastest production car in the world. Today’s Centodieci is just as extraordinary, with an ultra-limited run of only ten vehicles made. Luckily, the Rocket League version has the same sculptural look and is much easier to get!
The Hitbox with the lowest profile makes a long-awaited return! That’s right, the Centodieci’s aerodynamic stance makes the car a perfect fit for the in-game Plank Hitbox. Equip the matching Decal,Player Banner, and Engine Audio for the ultimate Bugatti experience.

Feel that chilly breeze nipping at your front intake? It’s Winter! The special time of year when we put on our biggest hoodies and cuddle up close to a warm PC. It’s also a season full of music, and this year’s winter melodies come straight from Lofi Girl.
While some might remember the name chilledcow, the Lofi Girl channel is famous for their “lofi hip hop radio - beats to relax/study to” stream on YouTube. We’re teaming up to bring those same famously chill beats to Rocket League! Throughout Frosty Fest, players can unlock Lofi Rewards, spin chilled-out Player Anthems, or dive into three Limited Time Modes.
Now, go get comfy. Frosty Fest begins December 14!
Cozy Challenges
The end of a year comes with all kinds of traditions, and in Rocket League, every winter brings Frosty Fest Challenges! Completing this year’s Challenges will unlock a mix of Lofi Girl and winter-themed Rewards.
The cuddly Lofi Girl Cat Topper isn’t just an Item—it’s also your new best friend! This fluffy feline can and will snooze comfortably through your sweatiest matches. Or, if you’re cold on Toppers, show off your immaculate taste in music with Lofi Girl and Lofi Girl Winter Player Banners.
The Lofi Girl Decal’s snowy bokeh pattern brings out the magic of the season. Snow-capped fenders? That’s just icing on the cake. And speaking of ice, the Snowflake Antenna and Frosty Flake Decal match perfectly alongside Season 9’s flash-frozen Items.
The best gifts come from the heart, and Frosty Fest has a heart of gold. Throughout the Event, players can earn up to five Golden Gifts that unlock Items from the Elevation, Vindicator, and Player’s Choice Item Series’. Golden Gifts work the same way as previous Golden rewards—complete the Challenge up to five times to earn Golden Gifts, then open them in your Inventory to unlock items.

Long held in place by an ancient seal, the dragons of Forbidden Temple Arena have finally awoken from their slumber. As the two resume their eternal battle, these legendary beasts have left a treasure trove of elemental Items in their wake.
Discover the secrets of a long-lost Rocket Pass, unearth Forbidden Temple (Fire & Ice), and harness the power of the Emperor Car in Season 9, starting December 7!
An Elemental Rocket Pass
While dragons may claim the skies above, the Arena is ruled by a different breed of beast. Wrought from the elements, the Emperor muscle car comes to Rocket League with four different versions! The base car is available immediately with Rocket Pass Premium, and working through the Tiers will unlock the upgraded Emperor II.
Two more Special Edition versions will be available in the Pro Tiers. Emperor II: Frozen brings chill vibes to your sweatiest matches, or you can light up the Arena with Emperor II: Scorched. All versions of Emperor will use the Breakout Hitbox and are available in Rocket Pass Premium.
After you’ve got the new car, you’ll need some Items to go with it! Fans of the Interstellar Decal will be starstruck by the constellation-inspired Constella Decal, while the fire and ice theme continues with two sets of Special Edition Wheels. Equip the Piercer: Crystalized Wheels to freeze out the competition, or slip into the Forerunner: Roasted Wheels for your next barn burner.
Missed out on 2017’s Dragon Banner Season Rewards? You’ll have another chance to feed your draconic side with the Ice Drake and Fire Drake Player Banners.
Those who venture into the Rocket Pass Pro Tiers can earn two new Goal Explosions. Unleash the fury of fire with the Brimstone Goal Explosion at Tier 95, or unlock the Ice Age Goal Explosion at Tier 115 to put the world on freeze. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg—just like Season 5's Cosmosis Goal Explosion, both these effects will spread across the Arena, briefly covering the pitch in fire or ice whenever you score!
Play with Fire, Break the Ice
We finally found out why the Forbidden Temple is so, well… forbidden. With both dragons let loose, the once lush Arena has been transformed into a wasteland of permafrost and molten lava. Despite the damages, Forbidden Temple (Fire & Ice) seems like the perfect place for a friendly game of Soccar!
Tournament Rewards
This Season’s Tournament Rewards really bring the heat. Leave a trail of flames behind you with the Seared Trail and Fireball Boost. But first, you’ll need something to burn, and the Oil Can Antenna has all the fuel you’ll ever need.
For the truly lucky, this Season’s Black Market Rewards bring out the fiery side of competition. Light up the night with an incendiary Fire Clap Goal Explosion, or tap into something monstrous with the Skulking Scale, an animated Decal that mixes glittering crystal with the scales of a dragon.
Secrets of the Temple
After the devastation of the temple grounds, we discovered several ancient tomes amongst the rubble. Their true meaning has yet to be unlocked, but so far we’ve deciphered two short messages: Frosty Fest will bring extremely chill vibes, and Neon Nights is returning with the hottest beats ever! Our trained Psyonix Archeologists will report back with more info soon.
Season’s end also means Season 8 Tournament Credits will reset. Players who participated in Competitive Tournaments during Season 8 will receive an All-Star Cup reward. Unspent Tournament Credits will be converted to the highest level reward a player is eligible to earn based on their Tournament Rank and Tournament Credit amount. This conversion will happen automatically the first time you log into Season 9.
Keep your thermostat close—Season 9 begins Wednesday, December 7!

In all of history, there has never been a sport as big as football. Nations gather together in raucous rebellion, while only one team can claim the ultimate victory. That same spirit lives on in Rocket League, and now everyone can have a taste of the world’s most popular sport with the Nike FC Cup Limited Time Event!
Starting November 17, players can complete in-game challenges to unlock Nike Federation and Global Decals for dozens of countries. Football takes over the Item Shop with multiple Item Packs, including the Nike CR7 Pack inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mercurial boot. We’ll also introduce Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup, an international competition where players compete together for their country's glory and exclusive placement rewards.
Then on November 30, we come back for the second half with the Nike FC Showdown Limited Time Mode. The Item Shop will also see a second round of Items, including the Nike FC 2022 Pack.
This is a big one, so let's dive in!
Release 1 - November 17
First up, the Item Shop! The Nike Next Generation Pack comes with three Decals inspired by three famous Nike boots: Nike Phantom GT - Copper, Nike Tiempo - Copper, and the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial - Copper. Alongside these Octane, Fennec, and Dominus Decals, players will also receive the Nike FC 2022 Goal Explosion. The pack will cost 1100 Credits, while each Item is also available for individual purchase.
Football has created some of the world’s biggest sports celebrities, and now you can sport the same style as Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo! The Nike CR7 Pack comes with the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial - CR7 Decal and a matching Nike Air Zoom Mercurial - CR7 Player Banner, all for 300 Credits.
Alongside this Item Shop haul comes Challenge Rewards! To unlock 40+ Decals from around the world, you'll need to complete challenges by diving into games of Chaos, Dropshot, Snow Day, and Hoops! You’ll also be able to get a Golden Egg that unlocks an Item from Champions Series 1 through 4.
Both the Nike FC Challenges and Item Shop Items will be available from November 17 to December 6.
Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup
Football brings nations across the world together, and so does Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup! By signing up and scoring points for your country of choice, you can earn rewards on a massive scale.
Step 1 - Sign Up
Starting November 17, sign up at the Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup site. Once you’ve picked your team, it’s time to start dreaming about those rewards! As soon as you sign in, you’ll already unlock the “Footy Fanatic” Player Title.
Step 2 - Earn Points
Once you’ve locked in your favorite team, start playing Rocket League matches to earn points! Remember to check your Fan Clash page as you play—you’ll be able to track your team's progress on the Global Leaderboard.
Every goal, save, and assist you score throughout the event will add points to your team’s global total, with point normalization making things fair for bigger or smaller countries. Remember: it’s not how many players you have; it’s how hard they work!
Step 3 - Claim Victory
Finally, you’ll earn Placement Rewards based on how many points your country earns throughout Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup. Higher placements earn higher rewards, so do your best to push your country to the top of the leaderboard! Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup will run from November 17 at 9 a.m. PST (5 p.m. UTC) until November 30, 6:00 p.m. PST (December 1 at 2 a.m.)

Nike FC Showdown
Welcome to Champions Field (Nike FC)! This pink and blue Arena will be home to Nike FC Showdown, a Limited Time Mode that achieves the unthinkable—combining cars and football!
This isn’t the Soccar you’re familiar with though. In Showdown, two teams square off with a Nike Ball, modified Mutator Settings, and intense 4v4 action. The newly designed Ball will curve and cut through the air depending on how you hit it, with a higher max speed and low bounce settings. These changes mean the ball will spend more time close to the ground, and it will be easier to dribble with the front of your car instead of the hood. Nike FC Showdown will be playable from November 30 to December 14.
Release 2 - November 30
Players can expect a new wave of Nike Items in the Item Shop from November 30 to December 6. If you need even more football icon Items, pick up the Nike Mercurial - R9 Octane Decal, inspired by Ronaldo Nazário’s ‘98 R9 Mercurial Boot. Looking for something flashier? The Nike FC Pack brings a whole new vibe to futuristic sports apparel for 300 Credits.
