The latest Rocket Pass is getting ready to leave the garage when Season 3 launches on April 7! This new Rocket Pass features 70+ Tiers of new items celebrating speed. Check out the first look at these new items in the Season 3 Rocket Pass trailer above.

Season 3's Rocket Pass needed a new car to set the pace, and Tyranno is the perfect high-octane car for the task. This speed demon with the Dominus hitbox is ready for the pitch, and is unlocked immediately with Rocket Pass premium. Don't forget, Rocket Pass Premium gives players additional Weekly and Seasonal Challenges, plus an XP boost to help you Tier Up even faster. Players who have Rocket Pass Premium also get access to the Pro Rewards beyond Tier 70, which unlock variants of select Rocket Pass Items. Pro Rewards are tradable to other players too!

In addition to Tyranno, the Season 3 Rocket Pass features new items like the Chequered Flag Goal Explosion, Traction Wheels, Retrogression Animated Decal, new Player Anthems and more! As always, Rocket Pass Premium also has up to 1000 Credits to unlock. Check out more of the featured items on the Rocket Pass page.

The Pro Tiers are getting an overhaul with Season 3. Tiers beyond Tier 70 will no longer be hidden. Instead, players at Tier 70 or beyond will now see what item they can unlock 30 Tiers in advance. We will also be adding back the ability to purchase Pro Tiers.

NASCAR AND FORMULA 1Ⓡ ARE GEARING UP FOR ROCKET LEAGUE IN MAY

Players, start your engines! Rocket League Season 3 is fueled up and ready to roll on April 7! Get ready for the most high-octane season yet.

To properly celebrate the art of auto racing, we had to bring in two legends that practically perfected speed: NASCAR and Formula 1. Both of these titans of the track are racing into Rocket League throughout Season 3 with their own bundles. Check out the first look at the cars in all of their gearhead glory in the Season 3 trailer above, and look out for more info leading up to the release of NASCAR in early May and F1 in mid-May.

Rocket League needed a new car to compete with the redlines of NASCAR and Formula 1, so our engineers have been hard at work in the garage fine tuning and test driving a speed demon of our own. Introducing Tyranno. Get ready to take control of this master of dash with a Dominus hitbox in the Season 3 Rocket Pass. Stay tuned for the full Rocket Pass reveal next week!

Prepare to take in the sights and sounds of race day in the newly redesigned DFH Stadium (Circuit). The classic Arena has been outfitted with a track and all the pageantry found trackside during a championship Sunday. DFH Stadium (Circuit) will be added to the Casual and Competitive Playlists, and will be available for Private Matches and Freeplay at the start of Season 3.

Season 3 begins on April 7 following a game update on April 6 at 4 p.m. PDT (11 a.m. UTC) (pending first-party certification). Once the Season begins, new Competitive Tournament Rewards will be introduced, and the new Competitive Season begins. Season 2 Competitive Rewards will be granted shortly after Season 3 goes live.

The EPIC crossover event, Llama-Rama, is back for an encore to close out Season 2! The in-game event returns on March 25 and the party doesn't stop until April 9. Rocket League's Season 2 headliner, Kaskade, is bringing the music, along with his all-new customization items to the Item Shop!.

Llama-Rama Event Challenges will be live all throughout the event, and unlock all-new themed items, like the Umbrella Royale Wheels, Yonder's Fleece Octane Decal, and even the Llama Bell Player Anthem. Plus, claim the Top Llama ME Topper for free throughout the event! Check out some of the new items in the images below.

Starting at the same time as Llama-Rama, the new Kaskade bundle will be available in the Item Shop to get your car concert-ready. This bundle will be available for 1000 Credits, and features Huntress-inspired Octane and Dominus Decals, two sets of painted Kaskade Wheels (Orange and Cobalt), and Kaskade's latest hit "Miles To Go" as a Player Anthem. If you've been keeping a keen eye on Rocket League Esports content, you may have come across one of the newest podcast series, First Touch. The show helmed by Demar "Dazerin" Williams, Raul "Roll Dizz" Diaz, and Tyler "TBates" Bates has quickly become one of the most rambunctious and informative podcasts about Rocket League Esports.

So, we thought, why not put it on official Rocket League channels? Without further ado, we'd like to introduce the newly upgraded version of First Touch!

WHAT IS IT?
First Touch is a podcast that tackles topics and talking points within Rocket League Esports. Ever wanted to hear people argue and meme about why G2 Esports hasn't won a Regional Event or why Jason "Firstkiller" Corral is (or isn't) the best player in the world? Well then, look no further than First Touch!

Dazerin, Roll Dizz, and TBates each come from different parts of the Rocket League Esports ecosystem and bring with them unique viewpoints on each and every topic. While the focus of the show is on Rocket League Esports, we saw an opportunity to expand the show to include topics on all things Rocket League. As the show continues to grow, it will host guests from across the Rocket League community and even Rocket League developers!

We couldn't think of a better trio to host the show and we're super excited to kick it off.

WHERE AND HOW CAN I WATCH?
To begin, the show will stream exclusively on the Rocket League Twitch channel. The day after the show airs, the VOD will be added to the Rocket League Esports YouTube channel. So, if you miss a week or two, no worries, the VODs will be waiting for you!

Season 2 is approaching the end of its setlist, but get ready for an encore. The season has been extended to April 7. That means you have some extra time to unlock your outstanding Season Challenges and hit your dream Rank to earn your Season 2 Competitive Rewards!

Speaking of which, it's time to reveal the latest Competitive Rewards. If you haven't already guessed by the image above, the Rewards for Season 2 are new Boosts! Players will earn their Rewards at the beginning of Season 3. If you're unfamiliar with how Competitive Season Rewards are earned, you must complete your placement matches to receive a Rank, and then fulfill the appropriate Season Reward Level (10 wins for each Rank beginning with Bronze).

Just like in Season 1, Season 2 will feature a different Reward for each Rank, including Supersonic Legend. Titles will also be distributed for those who won Competitive Tournaments, or earned Grand Champion and Supersonic Legend Rank in standard or Extra modes. Check out the full Rewards breakdown below.

WHAT'S HAPPENING TO SEASON 2 TOURNAMENT CREDITS?

Once Season 2 ends, your Tournament Credit balance will reset, which is similar to the end of Season 1. Existing Tournament Credits will convert to All-Star Cups. Players who have participated in a Competitive Tournament and have between 0-12,000 Tournament Credits will receive one All-Star Cup. Players who have more than 12,000 Tournament Credits will receive additional All-Star Cups depending how many Tournament Credits they have. See below for the breakdown.

  • 0-12,000 Tournament Credits — receive 1 All-Star Cup
  • 12,001-24,000 Tournament Credits — receive 2 All-Star Cups
  • 24,001-36,000 Tournament Credits — receive 3 All-Star Cups

INTRODUCING ROCKET LEAGUE GOALS FOR CHANGE



Rocket League Esports is working with Beyond the Summit to put together a casual tournament featuring women from the Rocket League community called Rocket League Goals For Change. We're excited to introduce this new kind of event to give back to the causes that are important to the community.

Like previous events organized by Beyond The Summit, this broadcast will aim to entertain with modes that go beyond Soccar! The event will include interviews with team captains and the creator of the Moonpaw Wheels, Lindsey, about her experience working in the video game industry.

The latest Series of items has arrived! Rocket League's Season 2 Item Series has begun appearing as Blueprints, and is led by the new and incredibly sharp car, Tygris (Hybrid hitbox). Check it out above and in the images below!

The Season 2 Series includes more than a dozen new items ranging from Rare to Black Market rarity. For starters, Dominus is finally joining the Octane and Fennec in the Huntress club with a decal of its own. Plus, check out new items like W.I.P. and Exalter Decal, Medianic and Bravado Wheels, and Ambustion Boost. Then, hit your target with the all-new Air Strike Goal Explosion!

Don't forget, items from the new Series can be unlocked two different ways: Blueprints or the Item Shop. If you receive a Blueprint after a match, just use Credits to build the item from the Blueprint, to add it to your inventory. These items will also begin appearing in the Item Shop, so be sure to check it out in the coming weeks.

For new players, here's a some quick info on how Blueprints work:

  • After playing Online Matches, you'll have a chance of receiving a Blueprint.
  • Blueprints show you exactly what item you can build.
  • Be on the lookout for Blueprints that unlock Painted or Special Edition item variants.
  • Blueprints, and the items you get from them, are tradable to other players on the same platform.
