The next Rocket League update is on the horizon, and we’re changing things up a bit with our latest Crate! We want you, the dedicated Rocket League community, to choose what items we include in our first-ever Player’s Choice Crate! You can pick your favorite Very Rare Decals, Exotic Wheels, Import Battle-Car, and more!
Some of these customization items are old favorites and others are brand-new, but we are bringing them to new Battle-Cars and want to put the power in your hands this time! We wanted to experiment a bit with this crate, so definitely tell us what you think.
On our official site you will find a poll with all of the available categories and choices (note that you have multiple choices to make in some categories), and we will be running the poll through midnight Pacific Time on February 1st.
Vote today, and help shape the future of Rocket League!

It’s been a long time coming, but we are ready to talk about the end of Competitive Season 3, its rewards, and the beginning of Season 4.
First and foremost, we want to thank all of you, our players, for your patience (and funny tweets and Reddit posts) as Season 3 has gone on significantly longer than Seasons 1 or 2. We’re making a number of changes in Competitive Season 4 -- all of which will be revealed in more detail closer to the start of the season -- and these changes required us to lengthen Season 3.
Season 4 will be starting by early April. Some of the changes coming with Season 4 are tied to a future game update, so its date is still flexible at this point. Once Season 4 starts, we will be moving to a more regular Competitive Season schedule -- something we’ll go into detail on closer to the beginning of the next season. So if you’re still not quite at the Champion Tier in Season 3, you still have time to move up!
Similar to previous Competitive Seasons, we will be releasing rewards for Season 3! We rewarded competitive players with Crowns and Rocket Trails in Seasons 1 and 2, and Season 3 will see special Wheels awarded to all players who have placed in Competitive Playlists.
The rewards will be handed out as follows:
Prospect I or higher – Season 3 Prospect Wheels
Challenger I or higher – Season 3 Challenger Wheels
Rising Star or higher – Season 3 Star Wheels
Champion or higher – Season 3 Champion Wheels
Grand Champion – “Season 3 Grand Champion” Title
The highest reward you receive is tied to the highest Tier you reached in any Competitive Playlist during Season 3. If you reached 'Champion' at any point in Season 3, then dropped to 'Superstar' or lower, you will still get the 'Champion' -level Wheels, along with Wheels for every lower Tier.
So what kinds of changes are coming in Competitive Season 4? We’ll go into detail on all of the changes closer to the start of the season, but here’s a sneak peek of the new Tiers you can expect down the line!

We have removed Rocket Lab Arenas from the Casual Arena rotation (for now). Rocket Labs Arenas were appearing too frequently and the current 'Arena Preferences' system does not give players who dislike Rocket Labs maps enough sway to avoid them.
* NOTE: New Rocket Labs Arena designs may appear next year in Casual playlists in a way that they can be more effectively influenced by Arena Preferences
We are also discussing alternative ways to get your feedback on new Arenas in shorter doses.
STATS, SETTINGS, AND PRESET DATA
Fixed an issue with the game client picking the wrong local profile from your save data. For some accounts that played splitscreen, this caused a “loss” of recorded stats, in-game settings, and car presets when the patch was released.
PC players should see their stats, settings, and presets restored with this hotfix. Unfortunately this was not possible for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
We are investigating solutions for next year that would prevent this from happening again by storing more of your information in our database so it cannot be lost due to this kind of bug, save-data corruption, or hardware malfunction of your PC/Console.
MAP SELECTION
Fixed an issue that allowed Wasteland and Neo Tokyo to appear more frequently than they did before the Starbase ARC Patch.
MISC
[Hotfixed] Fixed collision issue that caused vehicles to sometimes bounce when landing / caused the Batmobile to sometimes land “inside” the field.
The previous fix for the Batmobile "wobble-on-landing" had to be removed so that we can better address it in a future update.
[Hotfixed] (PC) Fixed rendering issue that created a flickering problem for some Arenas.
Fixed VSync for Mac.
Fixed the Vulcan DLC Showroom thumbnail so that it would no longer shows an image of Triton.
The “Current Tier” text shown after Competitive matches will no longer be colored Green or Red when changing Divisions if the “Hide Competitive Divisions” option is enabled.
