What’s your most impressive statline? Leave no doubt about your Rocket League reign!
Thought spiders were scary? It’s the Sinister Six you should be afraid of… The world of Marvel’s Spider-Man swings into Rocket League for this year’s Haunted Hallows! Not into vehicular villainy? Haunted Hallows also has heroic wares for all web-heads.
Complete Challenges to unlock Toppers, Decals, and other items based on some of Spider-Man’s greatest foes — including Venom, Mysterio, and the Green Goblin!
Spider-Sense tingling for more? There are extra treats in the Item Shop based on friendly neighborhood wall-crawlers from across the multiverse.
Venture outside the web into two Limited Time Modes returning for the spooky season: Spooky Cube and Haunted Heatseeker! Also, you’d be forgiven for thinking Haunted Hallows started with the arrival of the Drift Woods Arena, but now it has a creepier, nighttime version. Haunted Hallows runs from October 18 at 9 AM PT to November 4 at 6 PM PT!
Drift Woods by Nightfall
Flick on those headlights and get into the spirit of Haunted Hallows by swooping into Drift Woods (Night)! While the frightening festivities are underway, regular Drift Woods will be removed from online matchmaking.
Capture Sinister Rewards in Your Web
Haunted Hallows has 13 Challenges to complete — offering rewards including items based on Spidey’s most iconic foes!
Celebrate Haunted Hallows just like Norman Osborn with the Goblin Glider Topper and explosively seasonal Pumpkin Bomb Boost. You know what’s scarier than goblins? Vampires. Become a creature of the night with the bat DNA-infused Morbius Decal. Just make sure you don’t break the one-way plexiglass of your Mysterio Wheels.
You’re bound to form a bond with the Symbiote Trail, Player Banner, and Avatar Border. There’s also the Venom Dominus Decal, which is sure to leave you feeling hungry for more than just victory. For completing the Play 15 Online Matches Challenge, you’ll earn a Golden Pumpkin ‘24. Open it up in your inventory to unlock items from the Zephyr, Player’s Choice, or Overdrive Series. You can complete this Challenge up to five times, meaning you can unlock up to five Golden Pumpkins! There’s also the unlimited Win 10 Online Matches Challenge which rewards 20,000 XP each time.
LTMs Emerge from the Crypt
The arena becomes hallowed ground when used for haunted LTMs — Spooky Cube and Haunted Heatseeker make a return as Arcade Playlists! Both will be available from October 18 at 9 AM PT to October 23 at 8:59 AM PT, then the Dueling Arcade Playlist system will decide which one will be live from October 23 at 9 AM PT to October 30 at 8:59 AM PT.
October 30 at 9 AM PT to November 6 at 8:59 AM PT will feature the winning playlist from the previous week plus the winning playlist from the first week. (If they’re the same, another playlist will be available too.)
Spooky Cube
Thought the soccar ball was hard to follow? Wait ‘til you see Spooky Cube’s ghastly gourd! In this LTM, you and your teammates must chase a speedy cubical jack-o'-lantern and get it into the other team’s goal. The team with the most Goals wins!
Haunted Heatseeker
If you’re afraid of ghosts, prepare to conquer your fears… Sneaky spectral forces in Haunted Heatseeker will snatch away your control of the ball and launch it across the arena. You may be thinking, “Wait, are these ghosts trying to score points for me?” But here’s the thing — if your opponent blocks the ghouls’ powerful shot, it’ll ricochet straight back towards your own goal. Whichever team gets the most Goals wins!
Bundles From Across the Spider-Verse
The ghosts in Haunted Heatseeker aren’t ghost spiders, but you can make your car look like the ultimate Ghost-Spider: Spider-Gwen! The Spider-Man Mega Bundle contains items based on more than four different web-slingers from across the multiverse.
Everyone loves a classic, and you too can have Spider-Man’s timeless red and blue look with the Classic Spider-Man Octane Decal. But that’s not the only iconic color combo… there’s also the ghostly pairing of white and pink in the Spider-Gwen Octane Decal. Wanna rock the arena with rebellious heroism? Kit out your vehicle with the Spider-Punk Octane Decal and Scarlet Spider Octane Decal.
Swap nitrous for webbing with the Web-Head Boost and its matching Trail. You can also channel Spidey’s superhuman senses with the animated Spidey Sense Topper, and prepare for a good (camera) shot with the Spider-Man’s Bag Topper!
Everything looks good in black, even Spidey’s costume. Show off the darker side of Peter Parker with the Spider-Man Symbiote Suit Fennec Decal and Spider-Man Symbiote Wheels. Not enough symbiotes for you? There’s also the Scream Fennec Decal and the takeover We Are Venom Goal Explosion!
Spider-Man Mega Bundle (3000 Credits)
We Are Venom Goal Explosion (2000 Credits individually)
Spider-Man and the Sinister Six collide in Haunted Hallows from October 18 until November 4!
Note: As a reminder, not all Car items that are of a cosmetic type that’s also in Fortnite (Car Bodies, Decals, etc.) are shared between Fortnite and Rocket League. So if you see some Haunted Hallows items in Fortnite but not others, that's normal! The number of Car items that are cross-game will grow over time.

THE HEADLINES
Changes to the Demolition Camera and Audio.
We’ll post additional Patch Notes when Season 16 begins on 9/4/2024 at 8 a.m. PDT / 3 p.m. UTC
CHANGES AND UPDATES
Demolition Camera Changes
After a demolition, the camera now flies from where you were demolished to your respawn point.
The camera shows your respawn position before your car respawns, giving you a chance to see what’s happening around you before rejoining the match.
During this window, you can move the camera around to view your surroundings.
Demo Transition Time: Under Settings -> Camera, a new Demo Transition Time setting lets you adjust how fast the camera flies from where you were demolished to your respawn point.
Default setting is 0.75 seconds.
You can adjust this setting from 0.00 (a snap transition) to 1.00 seconds.
A shorter transition time places the camera on your respawn point for longer.
A longer transition time gives you a better view of the field before spawning in.
Adjusting the slider does not affect how long the demolished state lasts, only when the camera moves.
Demolition Audio
Raised the volume of the “ping” noise when a teammate is demolished.
Learn more about the demolition audio change we made in v2.40 here.
Volume for this audio cue is still tied to the Gameplay slider under Settings -> Audio

KNOWN ISSUES
For a complete list of known issues in Rocket League, go here
Legendary monsters have been sighted on the field, but are they real or just an illusion? Turn up those headlamps and shine a light on the myths (and moths) of Rocket League Season 16 starting September 4! In Season 16, wade into the worrisome wilderness and compete in an all-new Arena, Drift Woods. And if things get too eerie, take comfort behind the wheel of Rocket League’s latest cars. When you purchase Season 16’s Rocket Pass Premium, you’ll automatically unlock the BMW 1 Series Car Body. Venture up the Tiers to unlock the BMW 1 Series RLE Car Body, as well as folklore-inspired frights like the Chupacabra Topper, Sasquatch Print Wheels, and Mothman Decal! The woods await.
BMW1 Series NOTE: The BMW 1 Series and BMW 1 Series RLE Car Bodies use the Octane hitbox. They’ll be eligible for cross-game ownership between Rocket League and Fortnite at a later date!
Drift into the Woods
It’s time to head to the great outdoors! Wait, did we say great? We meant to say foreboding. The Drift Woods Arena is in a forest for those who drifted in the wrong, very wrong direction. But don’t worry — stay focused on the goal and you’ll soon find your way out of the darkness towards victory.
You know what else can light up the dusk? Music. Season 16’s new theme song “Lie” is full of weird and wild electronic melodies curated by Monstercat artists Mr. Bill & Culprate. You’ll hear it on the Rocket League X Monstercat 2024 Playlist on Rocket League Radio, and it’ll be appearing in the Featured Shop as a Player Anthem!
A New Perspective on Demolition
One moment, you’re zooming towards the goal, and the next, BOOM! You’ve been demolished and are respawning who knows where. In Season 16, the post-demolition camera is improved, tracking the journey from where your vehicle was destroyed to your respawn point. Drift Woods is mysterious, so that your respawn point doesn’t have to be!
Rocket Pass Premium
Whether it’s monsters, ghouls, or witches — get ready to transform your vehicle into a mystical motor that brings an otherworldly aura wherever you drive. Here are supernatural surprises that lurk in Season 16’s Rocket Pass Premium Tiers: Who says that looking out of this world has to come from myths and legends? The BMW 1 Series Car Body and BMW 1 Series RLE Car Body look so slick on the pitch you’d be forgiven for thinking that magical forces were involved in their making. Each car’s engine roars like the real thing too! Later this Season, all Rocket Pass Premium owners will receive a Decal for BMW 1 Series based on the winning entry from our Rocket League x BMW Decal Contest. Let opponents know you’re watching them — and “they” are watching them — with the Creepshow Dominus Decal. Speaking of eyes, forget keeping your eyes on the goal. Have the goal keep eyes on the entire Arena with the takeover Eyescore Goal Explosion. Like moths to a flame is Mothman to a light pole. Give Mothman a ride on a dying light with the Mothman Antenna! Or, show your affinity for the darkness with the gloom-oozing Darker Disc Wheels and Chupacabra Topper.
It’s not good to move the goalpost about what looks better in the light, but the Ghoulpost Antenna may be preferable to the Mothman Antenna if you prefer ghosts over bugs. The post it haunts is a city streetlight, so it’s no stranger to rocketing cars. All the rewards mentioned above are just some of the rewards you can unlock. This Season’s Rocket Pass is crawling with rewards, with 70+ Tiers of rewards across free and Premium. Be a Happy Camper in Drift Woods!
Tournament Rewards from the Underworld
Season 16’s Tournament Rewards are delivered straight from the dark depths. If your performance on the pitch isn’t enough to give your rivals nightmares, show them an eyeball with wings (and a halo?) by equipping the Bateye Topper. Let ‘em know you have bite with the Gnaw’d Wheels and conjure up something fierce with the Rocketmancer Goal Explosion.
These aren’t all the Tournament Rewards, so get ready to make the pitch your haunt.
Competitive Tournament Schedule Updates!
Speaking of Tournaments, we’ll be adding extra Competitive Tournament time slots for every region — including weekend tournaments for players in South Africa! But that’s not all, we’ll also be introducing Heatseeker to the rotation. Heatseeker Tournaments will function like any other Competitive Tournament. Simply join a Competitive Tournament alone or with a teammate to enter into a 32-team bracket, and climb your way to victory! All the new time slots, as well as some additional game mode changes, are listed below. We'll monitor the impact of these time slots and mode changes closely and adjust the schedule if necessary.
