A total of 6 different versions of the MAN gem await the OMSI player. All models are prototypical and reflect the innovative design of the bus. The scope of delivery includes solo and articulated bus versions in different variants.
This new bus in OMSI fits perfectly into many maps, especially into the OMSI 2 Add-on Munich, because the bus already runs there in reality in regular service. But it will certainly look good on other maps as well, e.g. Aachen, Berlin X10 and Berlin BRT.
have you heard the news already? On Thursday, 25th March 2021, the next generation of city bus driving simulation releases: The Early Access version of TML-Studio's The Bus!
Transport passengers on different lines across the capital city of Germany, Berlin, on a realistic track layout in the scale of 1:1 with various busses.
There are further information on the The Bus Steam page:
Moreover, you can find a general roadmap for the development of The Bus during its Early Access there as well. As you may notice from the name, Thurday will be the beginning of a long collective journey: numerous features and improvements will follow in the future.
Here are some highlights of the roadmap:
Phase 1.0 (available at the start of the Early Access of The Bus)
Bus line TXL with various routes
Two bus variants: Articulated and Solo
Passenger ticket sale
Phase 2.0
The Bus Modding Tools for Unreal Engine 4 Game Editor
Multiplayer mode for Freeplay
Addtional bus line 100 and 200 with various routes
AI busses
Phase 3.0
Economy mode
Additional bus line 245 with various routes
Complete tutorial and checklists
Now, we would like to know from you how we can improve The Bus in your opinion. What makes the gaming experience more realistic for you? What are your wishes? What do you love about OMSI 2 that could be integrated into The Bus as well? What bothers you (e.g. about the driving dynamics)?
Accompany us on our way to the final bus simulator The Bus!
We are looking forward to your feedback and are happy to discuss with you in a civilized way. It would be best if you would join the TML Discord to do so: https://discord.com/invite/vkqyQ7TbDU
We are looking forward to your constructive criticism!
