This weekend we’ll be at PAX East for another three day adventure with our fans! In the last two weeks, we’ve revealed a few new items coming to our gift shop at Booth 512: Pinny Arcade Pins, BattleBlock Theater hats, and Troll t-shirts!

Now it’s time to reveal a bit of our schedule during this year’s PAX East:

On Friday and Saturday, you’ll have a chance to get your Behemoth gear signed by Tom Fulp and Will Stamper. Tom is a co-founder of the Behemoth and programmer for Alien Hominid & Castle Crashers. Will is best known as the narrator of BattleBlock Theater, but also sprinkled his talent in various parts of Castle Crashers including song writing, voice acting for the Ice King, and voice acting for the Industrial King.

Join us Friday, April 11th, and Saturday, April 12th @ PAX East Booth 512 between 2PM-4PM for the free autograph sessions. Our team will also be on the show floor if you just want to ask us a question or say hello.

Since we're focusing on the Beta for this week and would like to provide as much support to our Beta Testers as possible, we will be temporarily renaming the General Discussions to "Public Forums - NON Beta Posts".

Unfortunately, we tried to remove it temporarily to avoid confusion, but we couldn't. Please only post non-Beta posts on the Public Forums. Any Beta posts will be moved so that the support team can focus on the Beta Forums.

Private Beta Forums will be up until the end of the Beta.

Thank you for understanding. Can't wait until everyone gets a chance to play the game at the release (no official date yet).

The BattleBlock Theater Steam Beta begins today!

We’re excited to have so many people be a part of this journey to bring BBT onto PC. Our selected Beta Testers should receive their Beta keys in their inboxes (please be patient as there are thousands of emails that need to go out) and Testers will start off by doing free-play tonight. Then we’ll all work together to check different areas each day by playing a specific online section at suggested times. Our development team organized these group playthroughs with the Beta Testers so we could maximize the week-long Beta.

It’s an awesome opportunity to allow Steam users to play through our game first before it hits the store and this helps our team by giving us a more real-world test environment. We’re so grateful to all the Beta Testers for volunteering their time and hope that they enjoy this special early preview of the Steam version of BattleBlock Theater. Now, without further ado, BETA GO!
