Templar Battleforce - Trese Brothers

4 New Monster Types
Our 10th big update brings exciting new variation to the xeno monsters in the game. As your squad grows in level, nasty monster variations will start to appear -- the Plated Hunter, Predator, Lancer, and Siege Goliath. Especially if you are replaying the campaign, expect to see a lot of these new monster types popping up. They are all visually differentiated, so you can see them with a quick look -- and you'll know them from their specialized stats as well.

And more are coming for the Carapace, Hunter, and Brood Mother.

New Spawning Rules
To clamp down on enemy spawning, you can now you use your Hydra's flame to cap a spawn point. As long as flame is burning on the spawn point itself, no spawns will be rolled. With even more control over the spawn map, your Hydra brings a new level of tactics to the table.

Making Miss vs. Soak Clear
We've also made a simple change to the damage printing rules which goes a long way. If the damage is 0, which means that the attack was a hit but it was soaked by armor, the game will now show a "-0" on the map. This will help you quickly see the difference between straight up misses and soaked hits.

Neptune's Full-Vent
The Neptune got a Talent rework in Full-Vent this time around. Now you can directly manage your own Heat. Use Full-Vent to reduce your Heat directly, at cost of move and defenses. No that your Neptune is going to far anyway, so why not?

And More ...
We've improved some of the Talent and weapon display elements and names as well -- thanks to everyone sending in feedback and fix suggestions.

Please leave a review to encourage more updates, content, and features! No DLCs are coming, just more updates! If you like that, please leave a review :D

Templar Battleforce - Trese Brothers

We've got another huge Battleforce update coming hot off the presses.

Captain's Commander RQ Branch
Adding another branch to the Captain's Requisition tree gives your leader even more options on the field of battle. Now, step into the role of Commander and use Crippling Orders to weaken enemy forces. Either calling the shots from the back rank with Fire Commander, or using your deep Lineage memories to spot enemy weaknesses with Discerning Eye, you can weaken defenses and open up critical hits at every turn.

The new Commander branch is perfect for a Captain who works from the back rank, or to soften an enemy up before his or her own charge.

The Commander branch comes with a new relic armor and a new long-range sidearm for the Captain as well.

UI Improvements
We're hard at work refining the UI and improving things for speed of play, reduction of clicks.
  • The newest update includes a Next / Previous button in Templar status to page through the list.
  • In the equipment screens, if a weapon, armor or gear is unable to be equipped due to Gear Level, the GL is highlighted in red.
  • Removed the screen transition when Respec'ing for faster play
  • Lots of other small fixes! Check the full list below!

Grinding Art and Animations
The version 1.1.23 update also includes all new rendered equipment screens for your Templars. On the battlefield, you'll see improved animations for buffing throughout your Captain and Soldiers.

Templar Battleforce - Trese Brothers
Our 8th major update is working widely across the game to add features requested by the Steam community, tune balancing and fix bugs.

To Hit % and Avg Damage
This release adds the Hit % and Average Damage to the hover you can get over an enemy target. You must have an attack Talent selected, and the game will give you this critical information. Make better strategic decisions with every shot, picking your targets based on the information coming out of your Leviathan mech's tactical systems. Thanks to everyone who requested this, it's a great new add.

Steam OS & Linux - Change to Static Linking
In this release, we've removed the dependency on GLFW2 and switch to a static linking method. This should make installing and running the game easier for anyone on these platforms. If you're on Linux or Steam OS, we'd love to hear about how this update runs for you on this dedicated thread:

http://steamcommunity.com/app/370020/discussions/0/490123938429666344/

Berserker Improvement
The Berserk's Indomitable Defense can now be used mid-turn and at the cost of 0 AP. It will stop you in your tracks as your mech sets its feet for battle, but you'll be able to keep swinging and throw grenades before the end of your turn. At 0 AP, this critical defensive buff is now even more mighty.

Class Features
We've added details about the individual Templar class features into the status screen. Their Toughness and Resistance are shown (class-based soak) as well as the number of HP they gain per point of Fortitude, all to help you better plan.

Please leave a review to help encourage and support more updates!

v1.1.21 - 10/23/2015
- Mouse hovers now include To Hit % and Average Damage based on Active Talent
- Balanced and improve max updates for Tact Points across the game
- Berserk's Indomitable Defense now costs 0 AP, sets MP to 0 but does not end turn
- Fixed bug failing to display correct max army cap (12/15)
- Fixed Achievement for getting a Captain to level 20
- Fixed unmarked spawns in levels like Traitor's Bunker
- Added class features (Toughness, Resistance, +HP per Fortitude) added to status page
- Improved Artifact Vaults: 4th artifact is secondary objective
- Fixed bugs with Ferarai Lance: Atmo Reentry mission not ending properly
- Fixed bug with possible duplicate boss in Extermination Protocol
- Improved display of active effects (click on small effect icons, bottom right)
- Fixed map issues and typos
