Until 21/11/18, a protective veil will help adventurers and cancel the experience penalty resulting of an unfortunate death.
In addition, the experience penalty depending on the monster level and your character level has been removed. You will earn 100% experience from all monsters, even if their level is above yours from more than 15 levels or inferior from more than 5 levels.
You will still have the experience bonus if the monster has 3 to 15 more levels than your character.

You have helped the Lude to catch him after his escape in the living world, and then help jakk to get his kitty back.
But this year, Jakk's kitty seems different. His adventure has changed him, he is not just a cat anymore!

Complete the quest and help Jakk daily and you may be able to see what the Scatleton has become!

Trick or Treat!

It's Halloween again and this is the time to go from door to door and hope to get some sweets!
Unfortunately not everyone in Prontera wants to participate and hand out sweets to you but at least a
couple of neighbours joined the fun - but only if you appear in the right costume!

Talk to the Prontera Halloween Committee member in Prontera and find out how to get your costume to beg for some sweets!

Rumours are that some of the neighbours, in rare cases, hand out something better than only sweets~

So this week, we will really help you in your character progression, the Ragnarök Online Team is proud to offer you one week of Double XP. During this Event you will earn twice as much XP than normally when killing monsters in Rune Midgard.

O'zapft is! The Oktoberfest will start in Hugel... won't it?

Delicious beer, Bretzels and fetching clothes... from today, October 4th, every adventurer is invited to visit the Oktoberfest in Hugel.
You can enjoy special beer at the pub in Hugel. However, there have been some rumours... the pub seems empty and guests don't drink a lot of beer. Is there trouble going on?
You better talk to pub manager Horst to find it out.

You can expect a great atmosphere, interesting rewards providing that the festival finally can start. There is also a special guest who has the ability to bake special goodies for your adventures!

Professor Protovich is back! It has been months since the last time we saw him! The last tests he performed ended up quite bad, explaining why he hid himself to work on some fixes for his Spirit Extractor.

The small issues which used to make the machine a little unstable seem to have been fixed and the kinetic energy overload risks no longer exist.

But he is sure that monsters involved in the tests were responsible for the issues he encountered... As a result, he wants to perform further tests on very specific races of monsters: Holden, Metaling, Dark Priest, Wraith, Antler Scaraba, Rake Horn Scaraba, Big Ben, Big Bell

He travelled to 4 places known for hosting a high number of these creatures, Einbroch Field 06, Glast Heim Churchyard, Scaraba Hall, Nightmare Clock Tower asking adventurers to collect hundreds of monsters souls he will shape into sheer experience.

Subsequently, people who would like to help him deeper should bring their Protovich Band: as an official assistant of the Professor, he will let you use his machine 10% more efficiently for each refine level. They will even be able to experiment the new Spirit Extractor fusion feature, allowing the Base and Job Experience to be fully focused on either Base or Job Experience.
