To access the beta server:

Right-click on the game name and select properties, as shown in the first image below:



Click the BETAS tab and select the branch from the list, "beta" in the example:

On windows it's located inside your Steam folder under:

If you are on mac it's in:
~/Library/Logs/Unity/

The file is Player.log.
