It all started with an arcade machine survivors found in the Tower’s basement while investigating an odd power outage. None of them could remember seeing this strange device ever before. They moved it upstairs, unaware of its true nature.

The Chicken Ninja is back in town, which means we can get the annual Harran Egg Hunt rolling. As the name of the event suggests, the objective is to collect special Easter eggs – the more, the better. You will find them among the usual loot in various containers, but as you explore the city, you’ll also notice little zombies dressed in white. Those might not exactly be the cute Easter Bunnies we all deserve, but they’re what we’ve got nevertheless. If you catch and kill one, you get an egg too. In case you wonder why the eggs look like decorated grenades – it’s because that’s what they are. They come in four different types and can be used in combat to poison the enemies, freeze them, set them on fire, or knock them out.
When the community reaches the global goal, everyone will receive three gold weapon dockets. There are also two rewards for completing personal bounties – a gold weapon and the Cock-A-Doodle-Do Outfit (the legendary Chicken Ninja apparel). The event ends on Monday (April 13, 19:00 CEST). Happy hunting, Survivors!

When Unturned fans kicked off their huge convention in Harran, they had no idea things were going to get terrifyingly real (and definitely too high-poly!) in a matter of hours. Now they are walking the streets among other flesh-hungry zombies, some still wearing their Unturned costumes like grotesque cosplayers from hell.
To help contain the situation, you need to take out as many Biters, Virals, and Volatiles as you can, so gear up and slash away! When the community reaches the global goal you will be rewarded with three gold weapon dockets. We know steering clear of Volatiles is generally healthy for you, but if you have the guts to go after them to complete your personal bounty, you’ll earn three King mods. Speaking of rewarding your efforts, you’ll also receive double XP during the whole Unturned crossover event (which ends on April 6, 19:00 CEST).
While the crossover event is only available on PC, every Survivor regardless of their platform will be able to enjoy the free Unturned Weapon Pack. It’s already available on Steam (console versions coming late April) and offers three completely new “low-poly” weapons modeled after Unturned items (Rake, Machete, and Hockey Stick). Their extreme durability makes them perfect for a starting player (they do scale to your level though!) or as almost indestructible backup weapons, but thanks to their quite high critical hit chances they’re fun for everyone. Oh, and you also get a unique Unturned-inspired outfit. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1272090/Dying_Light__Unturned_Weapon_Pack/

While the world needs you to #stayathome, Harran needs you to spread terror among hordes of night zombies!
Until April 7, every Survivor can claim the The Volatile Hunter Bundle for free. The Bundle includes: a new buggy paint job, a new character outfit, blueprints for a new sword, baton, maul, and knife.
Also, remember that all proceeds from your purchases of the Vintage Gunslinger Bundle made between March 27 and April 7 will be donated to support COVID-19 relief efforts.

Dying Light’s 5th Anniversary Month is coming to a close, but before it ends you can enjoy a whole week of HyperMode madness. The popular community event returns in its classic form, which means you can forget your machetes, bats and whatnot for a while, because your fists are pretty much weapons of mass destruction now. Use your superhuman punches and kicks to off as many zombies as you can and help the community reach the global goal. When it does, you’ll be rewarded with the Spectral Baseball Bat. This stunning glowing weapon deals major damage, but above all else lets you enjoy the HyperMode every time you use it (regardless of the event).
As to the local bounty, guess who needs more halva for his mom. You can argue with Gazi just to learn that the drug store people were right about it being futile, or you can go loot some more halva from zombies. It’s worth the effort, because the reward is absolutely unique – the World’s Best Crane outfit inspired by Mama’s timeless style.

We hope decimating zombies with your buggy weapons on Week #2 only whetted your appetite for mayhem, Survivors.
Halfway through Dying Light’s 5th Anniversary Month we’re doing what many of you have been asking for – we’re bringing back the Left 4 Dead 2 crossover event! It returns under a new permanent name, Viral Rush, and you’ll be seeing more of it in the future. In case you missed our homage to Valve’s zombie shooter back in October: prepare for an all-out fight against a horde of relentless, extremely aggressive undead. Even with quartermasters giving out free firearms, and your ammo being restocked in Safe Zones, you’ll need to bring your A game to survive this onslaught. Your task is to kill Virals, and when the community reaches the global goal you will be rewarded with a blueprint of Last Hope, the signature makeshift cleaver of Aiden Caldwell, the protagonist of Dying Light 2.
Amidst all that chaos you’ll surely find a moment to help your old pal Gazi get halva for the World’s Best Mom. Fortunately, halva was a very popular treat in Harran, so many zombies still have some in their pockets. Make Gazi’s Mama happy, and he’ll reward your for completing this personal bounty with an exclusive blueprint. __________________________________________________________________ Remember that you can wishlist Dying Light 2 here!
Get out of your Super-Crane tights and start your engines!
Week #2 of Dying Light’s 5th Anniversary Month is here and with it another one of your favorite past events – CARnage! Jump behind the wheel of your buggy and show those zombies what happens when you don’t look both ways before crossing a street in Harran. Burn the undead to a crisp with the flamethrower, zap them with the electric cage, blow them up with mines – whatever suits you, as long as you use your vehicle’s weapons. Help the community reach the global goal and earn a random gold weapon as a reward.
Speaking of rewards, you can still grab that C4 Explosive blueprint we introduced in Week #1. We want as many Survivors as possible to enjoy this fun new weapon, so we extended the Fort Jefferson Armory bounty till the end of Week #2 for those who haven’t completed it. Have a blast!

Keeping Dying Light alive and thriving for half a decade would be impossible without the undying support of our amazing community. Having that and the significance of the occasion in mind, we decided that the 5th anniversary celebration needs to be a large-scale experience that offers something for every Survivor. Instead of launching a single event we prepared a whole range of varied activities that will keep the fun going throughout a whole month (until March 19).
Each week of this Dying Light insanity will bring back a popular global event from the game’s rich past, accompanied by a personal bounty related to one of fan favorite characters.
We’re kicking things off with Jeff and Super-Crane. During the first week of the 5th Anniversary Month you’ll be hunting Volatiles to earn a brand new C4 Explosive blueprint drawn by Fort Jefferson’s fearless commander, and throwing zombies off roofs as Harran’s superhero equipped with an enhanced grappling hook. We won’t tell you just yet what comes next, but rest assured tons of fun are coming your way, and some cool rewards too, including a crazy outfit that we can’t wait for you to see. Keep your eyes peeled for info on 5th Anniversary Month's upcoming events.
There’s one more thing we want to share with you. The latest Dying Light update introduces a new difficulty level intended for those who’d like to focus on the story and exploration without worrying too much about survival. Story Mode features a number of tweaks which make the game significantly easier: you're stronger and tougher, the Infected are less dangerous, nights are shorter, etc. Now everyone can enjoy their stay in Harran regardless of their skill level and experience with action games.
