It’s here Elpeeps! Become a Master of the Arena in PvP Season 3. This update is pretty darn huge with a massive overhaul of all classes and characters can easily fill a college textbook! But we will give you the main gist with some visual examples from a few of the characters!!

Full Character Balancing
To help improve gameplay experience all characters will receive improvement in all aspects of combat, which can be broken down into 3 sections (Combos, Actives and Special Actives). Of course there is so much more to this update as you all will see.

Improvements to Combos
Comboing can be tricky but with S3 improvements you’ll see that combo changes become easier to perform and more useful. Interlinking combos becomes more streamlined. For example, Raven’s Reckless Fist combo (>>^ZXX) doesn’t launch enemies into the air but shoves them back a little which makes continue a second combo sequence that much easier to perform.



And for more visual aesthetics, Aisha’s Void Princess loveable bat Angkor makes an appearance in her (>ZXX) which also gives you an added Dark Ball at the final X making it easier to Catch opponents.

Improvements to Actives
Actives become multifunctional and versatile. For example, Siege’s missiles pierces once but it’s possible to hit the same enemy twice for double damage. It has increased range and damage over the old Siege Shelling and has all of the properties of a projectile like not needing to be in range of a target to fire off shots.



Special Actives
There are quite a few special actives that receive improvements. But I would like to cover one purely based on favoritism and that is Code Empress. Oberon and Ophelia are Eve’s servants and she summons them in her actives and special actives. Once you summon they attack and leave. This time they stick around longer when performing Surface Cutting and Electronic Field and will fight for their beloved queen for over 10 seconds.



Item Mall Goodies

This week’s ItemMall Update is pretty awesome… New costumes, new mounts and new accessories! Track down evil doers in style with the new Devil Hunter Costumes.



Our newest mount is the Sacred Fox Mount! It looks especially great for Ara. Flame attacks and foxiness is freakin’ awesome.



Be a spectacle in these fabulous spectacles!! Stay nerdy with new eyewear.

This week’s update comes with 2 new exciting systems for Eve and Aisha. All of the characters of Elsword Online have unique systems for attacks and skills, some of which are activated in Awakening Mode. Now finally Eve and Aisha can benefit from these systems as well!



Eve’s Core Release

The Queen of Nasods powers up with Core Release. Eve’s Core is activated in Awakening Mode. (The more beads the higher the level of the core). This will be indicated by the color change from blue to red. The Core can be charged up by performing hits and combos for more powerful attacks.



The core defends Eve with Core’s Shield when enemies attempt to hit her while inactive. This decreases damage by 75%. When the shield is up, hitting X or Z will cause her to teleport backwards.

The core also attacks with Core’s Laser. This activates with certain actives/special active skills (but only is released if you hit your opponent. The Core’s Laser is strongest when in Awakened Level 3, dealing splash damage on mobs.

Lastly when the core is deactivated the remaining power will be spent towards HP/MP recovery. Pretty cool huh?



Aisha’s Memorize System

Put those memorization skills to the test. Our adorable little magician’s new system enables her to memorize most of her Actives and Special Actives. Hit the skill you wish to memorize with a maximum of 3. The default key to use the skill is V.



Saving skills sort of acts like insurance and you can even use the same skill twice in a row (one from memorize and one from the original cooldown). Skills however in Memorize only deal 70% of the total damage. Also since setting the skills already consumes MP, the skills deployed using the memorized slot will not consume the original skill MP cost.
