11.9.4 update is already installed on our servers and the Heroes are finally ready to greet their Lords and Ladies!

Maintenance works, which brought huge changes to Praya (day and night cycle, talents with a new mechanic, which depends on what time of the day it is at the moment) turned out to be uneasy ones. They took us a lot more time than we've planned. As a compensation for you, our dear players, we want to give all of you some pleasant gifts:

1 Day of Golden Age;
2 random legendary talents;
3 White Runes;
8 legendary crystals;
What is more, you will have one more day to complete the Summer Gifts quest.

With the introduction of the new, 11.9.4 update, the day can turn into night in the Borderlands now. You will have to fight both in the light of the day and the darkness of the night!

The duration of the daytime is 5 minutes, and the night will last for 3 minutes. For your comfort, we’ve added a timer next to the UI map. The times will show up just how much time is left before the day will turn into night or vice versa.

In the daylight, the Borderlands will look already familiar to you. And when the night will finally come, the map will change. Apart from a certain obscuration, there will be a lot other visual changes, such as: all the lanterns near the towers will shine brighter, the fires in the camps of the Touched will spread more light, and you will even be able to see the reflection of the starry sky in the river. What is more, the change between the day and the night will be accompanied by special sound effects.

And, of course, not only the visuals are going to change when the light fades out. Almost all Heroes will not see as far as during the day, which will make them more vulnerable towards sudden attacks. The decrease of the sight range will make the wards even more important and game-changing.

• “Lantern" - an invisible ward, which will help you spot the enemy Heroes (except for the invisible ones), will cost less than before - 100 Prime instead of 115.
  
  
• A new item will be available for purchase - “Dull lantern” - a ward, which will cost only 50 Prime. It is visible for the enemies, it can’t spot the invisible Heroes, and you will able to put it in the ground only once per minute.

• Leaning the Beast Scent talent will provide the Hero an additional bonus - his range of sight won’t decrease during the night.

• His passive ability, Unquenchable Thirst, will be 5% more effective.

The new update also brings new talents to Praya. Their properties will depend on what time on the map it currently is. We are adding two new sub-sets to the Legendary portents set (introduced to you in 11.9.2 version) in this patch.


This sub-set if a perfect fit for support Heroes.

• 2 talents from the sub-set learned will provide the Hero a bonus of Strength or Intellect, whichever the greater.
  
  
• The active bonus of the sub-set will allow the Hero to unveil the location of all Enemy Heroes for 5 seconds. If used during the night, the sub-set will additionally blind all Enemy Heroes and decreases their chance of effectively hitting targets by 50%.

Falcon Eye

• Required row: V;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 1160;
  
• Increases Strength or Intellect, whichever the greater, by 19;
  
• Unveils the location of all Enemy Heroes for 5 seconds. If used during the night, additionally blinds all Enemy Heroes and decreases their chance of effectively hitting targets by 50%.
  
• Cooldown: 180 seconds

Falcon Superiority

• Required row: III;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 675;
  
• Increases Strength or Intellect, whichever the greater, by 7.5;
  
• Increases Energy Regeneration by 1.5.

Falcon Grip

• Required row: IV;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 825;
  
• Increases Strength by 13.

Falcon Wisdom

• Required row: IV;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 825;
  
• Increases Intellect by 13.

Thanks to its stats and its active bonus, this sub-set is a great option for almost every type of Heroes - from carry ones to support ones.

• 2 talents from the set in a build will grant the wielder a boost of Cunning or Agility, whichever the greater.
  
  
• The active bonus grants the caster an ability to temporary boost Speed and provide invisibility for 8 seconds to him/her and all ally Heroes nearby. If used during the night, the effects last 5 seconds longer.

Crow Cover

• Required row: V;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 1160;
  
• Increases Strength or Intellect, whichever the greater, by 19;
  
• When 1 second after the talent’s use passes by, the Hero and his/her allies become invisible and their speed increases by 20% for 8 seconds. During the night, the talent effects last for 5 seconds longer;
  
• Cooldown: 180 seconds.

Crow’s Footfall

• Required row: III;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 675;
  
• Increases Speed by 7 (during the night, additionally boosts Speed by 5);
  
• Increases Energy Regeneration by 1.

Crow Ruse

• Required row: IV;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 825;
  
• Increases Agility by 13.

Crow Creativity

• Required row: IV;
  
• Prime-cost of learning: 825;
  
• Increases Cunning by 13.

The increase of her primary talent made her too powerful by allowing her to farm creeps on the lines or the Touched in the forest. It also made the defense of the towers incredibly hard. This is why we nerfed the amount of damage Snowstorm ability did.

• Now the improvement of the Blizzard talent deals 81-713 damage (depending on Intellect) once in 3 seconds (previously, it dealt 90 - 793 damage).

• Fixed a graphics issue which made the progress after you’ve collected 25 000 balls not being shown in the Promotions interface.
  
  
• We’ve also fixed an error which caused an incorrect demonstration of your place in the leaderboards after re-entering the Castle.

• Fixed an issue which caused the Heroine’s Forest Spirit ability to go on a cooldown without being properly cast.
  
  
• We’ve also fixed an error which caused the Spirit to be displayed next to the enemy Hero even after the effect had been canceled.

• Fixed an issue which caused Sprawling branches not to throw the target away after the first attack.

• Fixed a visual error which caused the Hero to “disappear” if his Health went lower than 60% percent.

• Fixed an issue which made the Heroine unable to use her alternative ultimate, Touch of Frost, when she was under Healer’s Shield of Mercy ability effect.

Now, the talents which reduce the maximum amount of Health (such as Fanatic’s ultimate, Test of Pain, and a special talent Death Touch), will have a new effect. While the effect is active, an icon of a shattered heart above the affected character will be displayed.

This week, the one to obtain new class talents is the fastest gunner in Praya - Desperado!



Ferocious and ruthless Desperado can either deal even more damage to his foes now, either receive more protection for himself with the help of the new class talents upgrades.

Bursting charge

• By choosing this upgrade, Desperado will be stocking special charges upon his enemies while the Molten Barrel skill is active. After 3 charges are being stocked, the enemy will receive 40-352 additional magical damage (depending on Strength or Intellect, whichever the greater). After that happens, the number of charges on the enemy will be set to zero.

Mark of Defense

• This upgrade will allow the Hero to decrease the amount of damage dealt by the Enemy, inflicted with it, by 5%. All the other damage the Hero will be receiving will decrease by 15%.

New class talents upgrades are already waiting for you in your Libraries. As usual, they are made to be put into the 5th row.

It has already pleased us with interesting novelties, intrigued the future updates of the Borderlands and gave legendary talents for entering the Castles. The best is yet to come!
Today we are pleased to announce the beginning of a huge quest! During the quest you can not only replenish your libraries with exclusive and legendary talents, already improved by 4 or more stars, but also get the Champion Runes!

• This is not a regular quest chain, but one huge quest that is divided into several tasks. You have to complete all tasks to receive a reward!
  
• You can complete several steps in one battle – for example, you can gather 100 points and collect 3,000 Prime. Everything will be included into the huge quest.

Unapproachable and majestic Quarrier can play one of his roles in battle even better than before with one of the class talent upgrades added to his build. And, depending on the choice made, the Hero’s armor will become even thicker or he will be able to control his enemies more effectively.

Impenetrable

• With this talent learned, the Hero’s defence will become even more impenetrable. It will additionally decrease the damage he will receive from enemy attacks by 15%

Stunning Rumble

• This talent upgrade will make the Hero’s Shockwave ability even more dangerous. With this talent learned, Rumbler will additionally stun all enemies he threw in the air for 0.4 seconds

This summer has already brought both generosity and interesting changes.
The first Heroes have already received new upgraded class talents and use them on the battlefields. But the Metamorphose Summer will influence not only on Heroes — the Borderland map will also see a lot of changes. The changes will have an impact both the interface and the mechanics.




Day and night cycles will change both the interface and the battle itself. Battle progress will be changed along with day-night changes. As well as in the real life, Nights in Praia will be dark, so the radius of the visibility will be decreased.

Ward units will also be changed. Some of the Heroes perform better at night, thus they will uncover their potential when the Darkness comes.



New talents will be added in the last legendary set to support all changes in Praia. Along with the day and night cycles, new talents with day and night effects will be added.

This week, the Heroine who is receiving her class talents upgrades is the mistress of cold and ice, Cryo!


Cold-blooded and irresistable Cryo can choose which ability to enhance with the help of class talents upgrades. Depending on which you one you choose, the Heroine will become capable of either dealing more damage in the battle, either making her foes less dangerous by decreasing their attacks’ damage.

Snowstorm

• With the improvement talent learned, Blizzard ability will become even more dangerous to Cryo’s foes. It will deal 100-230 additional damage (depending on Intellect) and last 1 second longer.

Chill

• This upgrade will make it easier for the Heroine to survive even in the middle of a crowdy fight. After you learn this class talent improvement, Strength of Cold will additionally decrease the damage Heroine will be receiving for 3 seconds by 50%.

11.9.3 update is live on our servers, and the Heroes are ready to greet their Lords and Ladies!

• Fixed an error which caused the game to close down when a player was in a Castle or when a player was coming back to the Castle from the battle.
  
• Fixed an error which caused the wrong illustration of the Heroes’ characteristics boosts gained from the talents upgraded for more than 5 stars.

The voiceover in the Castle was added.

Fixed an animation error that appeared when the Heroine died.


A new visual effect to the “War Splinters” talent.


Animation of the Mark talent was improved.


When new improved class talents are added, they will be shown on top lines in the Library like all new talents. Thus, it will be easier and more convenient for you to find and use them.


During the “2018 Praya World Championship!” event some users may see a visual bug of the current location. When you re-enter the Castle, you might not find your name in TOP. During this time your location won’t be shown.

The maximum amount of football balls shown is 25,000. All football balls above this number are not shown. Please, don’t worry, it is a visual bug. Your progress and football balls amount above 25,000 is not lost and is included in the TOP chart.

These bugs will be fixed soon.
