THE WAR EVENT:*
The Germans are preparing the landing along the English coast, their position is strong in the northern half of France – domination in Central Europe is almost total.
In the East the red threat arrives, the Soviet troops progress at high speed to try to take up position in Scandinavia allowing a quick descent on Berlin.
The US is sending thousands of troops into the Mediterranean area in a last effort to prevent Germany from taking all of Europe. Now it is your job to help your faction win the war!
THE OBJECTIVE:
Germans have to stay defensive and eventually push back any resistance, win over the Soviets and Americans and pursue the goal of conquering all of Europe.
Americans, you must overthrow the German army in order to prevent them from overpowering all of Europe!
Soviets, it is your job to dismantle the foothold Germany has on Europe, push them back from the north and make sure to defend from invasion!

Lately we have been focusing on the current features of Heroes & Generals WWII. We have been wanting to improve the overall experience for all our players and your quality of life.
GUNPLAY CHANGES
The new conefire system is a hybrid between our previous system and the current one. These are the set parameters within the system:
SWAY (YELLOW) Weapon sway is the same for all weapons, and a parameter that is affected by stamina and how quickly you move your cursor. Quick turns and fast movements will expand this pattern.
RECOIL PATTERN (GREEN) Each weapon now has a unique recoil pattern. This base pattern will always be the same.
When the trigger is continuously held, the weapon you are firing will follow its own unique recoil pattern originating from the 1st shot (BLUE) placed down range. This pattern will expand (Cone Expansion) the longer the trigger is held (automatic) or when shot in quick succession (semi-auto weapons). The sway will also marginally affect the recoil pattern when continuously firing a gun. Being out of stamina will therefore drastically affect both your weapon sway and recoil pattern.
This tightens the gunplay significantly, while still maintaining an element of randomness without it being overpowering and completely unpredictable.
IMPROVED IRON SIGHTS
Along with the feedback from our players we wanted to give weapons with Iron sights some love. The following list are the weapons which received such work:
The higher tier of planes had a hard time slowing down their speed enough to deploy the wheels for landing – therefore we made air brakes more effective and increased the height the wheels automatically deploy.
INCREASED STAGED BATTLE CAPTURED RESOURCES
By changing the current formula for calculating the resources it is now yielding more resources.
TERRAIN FIXES
We have done a lot of terrain fixes on several maps. These terrain fixes are, but not limited to; inconsistent heightmap, obstructed and steep roads (looking at you depot road), trenches partially covered by dirt and buried train tracks.
PROPS AND OBJECTS
1.17.1 Update also includes many fixes to buried and floating objects. It is an ongoing process and we will continue to fix both terrain, props and objects.
SPAWN POINTS AND CAPTURE ZONES
In some maps spawn points were blocked by boulders, we have fixed the observed areas and vehicles should no longer suffer involuntary harm upon spawning.
We also adjusted some Capture Zones. Specific Zones had unpredictable sizes, examples would be roofs not included in the zone, half a house etc.
