One of the main barriers for new DCS pilots is creating gameplay content. Although the Mission Editor is very powerful, it can be complex and time-consuming to learn. To mitigate this, the QAG offers a convenient and quick way to generate simple missions based on a few, simple selections. It allows players to experiment with all DCS aircraft, across all eras and maps, over a variety of mission types.
Quick Action Generator Key Features
Rapid and simple content generation compared to the Mission Editor.
Capability to construct missions based on all your DCS aircraft and maps with a high degree of mission customization.
Supports World War II era to modern day.
Scale missions from just a couple of aircraft to multiple flights and ground force groups.
Aircraft, ground units, and ships can be sorted into groups based on their historical era.
Manually select enemy and allied aircraft and set them as targets and supporting flights.
Option to modify and select aircraft loadouts.
Ability to change and select aircraft liveries.
User Interface built upon the F10 map to facilitate unit placements.
Optimised AI behavior for all difficulty levels.

The MiG-29A remains one of the most famous fighters in the world due to its outstanding performance characteristics, reliability, and simplicity of the weapons systems. It is capable of performing high-alpha manoeuvres that make it deadly in close air combat. In addition to the R-73 and HMS, the MiG-29A is also armed with medium-range radar-guided missiles, a 30mm cannon, and unguided bombs and rockets.
The Mikoyan MiG-29A has been operated by 39 air forces since its introduction in the 1980s, and approximately more than 100 are still in service. Key Features:
Early Access features
Fully interactive and highly detailed cockpit based on 3D laser scanning and photogrammetry.
Highly detailed and accurately reproduced external model.
Highly detailed pilot model with HMS.
In-depth modelling of aircraft systems and equipment.
Navigation System modes: POINT-TO-POINT mode for flying along a given route and flying to a programmed point; RETURN mode for performing a return to one of the three programmed airfields; LANDING mode for landing at both programmed and non-programmed airfields; and TRAFFIC RE-ENTRY mode for performing a re-approach to a programmed airfield in case of go around.
Detailed model of the Gyro Systems with Fast and Long Alignment modes and onboard navigation equipment.

This week we recount the epic sight of Mustangs escorting bombers across the Rhine and P-47s at treetop level supporting ground forces. Allied combat aviation played a decisive role in hastening the peace in Europe. DCS warbirds such as the P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk IX, Mosquito FB IV, P‑47D Thunderbolt, Bf 109 K‑4, and Fw 190A and D battled each other in those final months to support their own forces and engage in the last, great dogfights over Europe. It is with great pride and honour that we are able to preserve them in DCS and in some way to relive this pivotal chapter in history.
In memory of the machines, and the men and women who designed, built, maintained, and flew them, please join us in remembrance. Take to the DCS skies, and reflect on the real crews who placed their lives on the line. Their legacy lives on in every virtual mission you fly.

Four of Reflected Simulations’ most popular campaigns received updates: Fear the Bones and Speed & Angels now display Tomcatter87’s corrected tanker skins, and both F‑4E campaigns add an automatic “flaps‑down” safety trigger. Progressive wear‑and‑tear and typo clean‑ups in Red Flag 81‑2 was included, and the F-16C Arctic Thunder campaign has been tuned with blue‑side airfields throughout.
Baltic Dragon delivers quality‑of‑life fixes; Raven One: Dominant Fury sees its Knight I‑R prompt restored; The Enemy Within 3.0 AI‑helicopter landing logic and debrief music is fixed. The Rampagers campaign received a comprehensive review of deck winds, scoring, tanker cues, subtitle timing, and livery accuracy across nine missions.
Badger633 has added a Data Transfer Cartridge notes to every Operation Green Line mission, and missions 1 to 7 and 9 to 13 in the Rise of the Persian Lion 2 campaign. Finally, SorelRo’s Hormuz Freedom swaps in Heatblur’s new F‑4E for the IRIAF, refreshes voice‑overs, and improves AI trigger logic.

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Currenthill, which will bring many of his outstanding ground vehicles, aircraft, and ship AI assets to DCS. Currenthill is well known in the DCS community for his excellent mod packs and these AI assets will be added to the Core engine free for all of you to enjoy.
A huge amount of work has gone into integrating the assets; creating Levels of Detail; generating IR textures; adding desert, woodland and winter textures; creating damaged and destroyed models, and more. In parallel, we are creating new weapons like the Iskander, ATACMS, and IRIS-T SLM missiles to support these new assets. Some assets will also add new capabilities such as the IRIS-T surface to air missile system that features active radar-guidance paired with infrared-guidance; this makes it a deadly adversary.
This first set of Currenthill assets will include the FV101 and the lightweight FV107 armoured vehicle for your South Atlantic missions; the Tor M2 and Pantsir S1 for short range and air defense systems; and enhanced Russian Main Battle Tanks (MBT) like the T-90A and T-90M. The M-ATV, M1083 tactical truck, and M1130 command vehicle will also be included for your Mid-East missions.
For your European theatre missions, you’ll have a diverse range of new assets such as the Project 22160 Patrol Ship and air assets including the Mi-28N attack helicopter and the Tu-95MS bomber equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles. For ground operations, you'll gain access to the BMPT Terminator IFV, the TOS-1A multiple rocket launcher, the 9K720 Iskander short range ballistic missile, the T-84 Oplot-M, and the T-64BV MBTs. Additionally, the modern IRIS-T SLM medium-range SAM and the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) that features both Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) and Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) will also be at your disposal. We look forward to adding additional Currenthill assets in the future.

No other location better exemplified the Cold War between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces than the “Iron Curtain” separating East and West Germany in the 1980s. Massive forces were arrayed on both sides of this heavily fortified frontier that witnessed so much for so many years. Ugra-Media has recreated this pivotal “what if” scenario with a level of excellence and detail far greater than ever before.
This 980x800 km map includes the varied terrain of the rolling hills of southern Germany, the flat northern European plains that served as the corridor to countless historical battles, and the coastlines of the Baltic Sea. The low-level terrain detail makes this map a must have for attack aircraft and helicopter pilots who just love flying at tree-top height.

Map Highlights Buildings come with destruction states. All East German bases feature authentic RSBN navigation beacons. Densely placed ground objects throughout the map, but important areas are left open for mission builder object placement for costume scenarios. Detailed SAM and AAA sites are scattered throughout the map and co-located with many airfields that can be populated with your air defenses of choice.
Why Fly It Now? Whether you’re loitering over the “Fulda Gap” in an A-10, punching through clouds in a Fulcrum, or stalking tanks in a Hind, the DCS: Cold War Germany map offers a new and exciting canvas to experience your DCS aircraft.
DCS Core We have released the initial version of Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) that supports custom countermeasure programs and radio presets for the F/A-18C and F-16C. DTC files can be created by single player and multiplayer pilots prior to entering a mission from the Briefing Window. Future updates will expand DTC functionality to include navigation, targeting, datalink, weapon settings, and much more. Additional development for the AH-64D and A-10C II is in the pipeline. DTC files can also be saved and shared between missions and even your friends. Please check out this helpful quick start guide and video, Additionally, when you have created your own DTC file, you can share via User Files under DTC Profiles.
The Mission Editor received a new zoom level for the map, making fine-tuning small assets more convenient and precise. Several smaller GUI bugs were fixed and the German Democratic Republic (GDR) now has relevant units and liveries added.
DCS version 2.9.15.9408 also includes new persistence support Scripting API functions which also work with the Mission Save feature with custom scripts. Additionally, more user feedback has prioritised our work on saving destroyed assets and waypoint parameters to the mission save file. This will be coming soon in a future update.
Several AI specific behaviour problems were fixed and new JTAC voice lines for calling out weapon types were added. Furthermore, specific DCS Core optimisations for resource loading have been implemented, improving cockpit loading and boosting application startup speeds.
Eagle Dynamics Modules This update refined many of our in‑house aircraft. As you know, the F‑16C gained early Data Transfer Cartridge support. Additionally, the aircraft received a raft of sensor fixes; from steadier TGP tracking to smoother radar and cursor handling. The F/A‑18C received the same initial DTC implementation, ejection logic fix, and a seeker‑cage correction. AH‑64D crews will notice smoother Cued‑LOS behaviour, air-data probe animation fix, and a less erratic George AI. Rotary fans also benefited from fresh Mi‑24P liveries, plus Mi‑8MTV2 tail-rotor animation and door‑gunner fixes. Black Shark 3’s vibration warning is audible again. F‑5E’s animations like glass damage discrepancies and command bindings were fixed, and the Yak‑52’s brakes, gear bindings, and AI patterns were corrected.
Third‑Party Modules & Terrains Our partner developers also delivered some interesting enhancements. Deka’s JF‑17 sports a new SATAC skin, proper brake‑chute logic, and toned‑down radar effects on RWR. Aerges has tuned the Mirage F1 with synchronized cockpit options, safer missile logic, and robust input commands, while AvioDev’s C‑101 flight director and lesson logic were fixed. Heatblur’s F‑4E introduced user‑made Jester mod support, a pneudraulics overhaul, audio refresh, and new training content; the F‑14 squashed audio‑stepping and afterburner‑lag bugs; and the AJS‑37 restores kneeboard data and all‑aspect RB‑74s.
