Hello folk, we know it's been a while since our last update but we're almost done! We're still hard at work on finishing the PS4 version of the game and getting it through the approval process.
Now we know you got burning questions like who are the mysterious soldiers that stole the ark? and actually what purpose the ark might have? also what happened to Dr Neil? Is Baron really dead? What was the purpose of the mandrake project?
You'll have your answers soon enough. Now enjoy many fixes, tweaks we have done since the last update.

Many minor menus improvement (support for back button etc)
Loading screen is now animated
Added some camera shake on explosion, death etc
Mega looper now behave more like other bosses (flash when weak, start boss music)
Frozen/stunned enemies don't deflect bullets and also can't hurt players
Enable transceiver to exit hunting ground
Added a sound FX when mission timer gets low
You can skip cutscenes by pressing the start button

As you’ve guessed it, Mercenary Kings will not be available for the 2013 calendar year. We’re extremely grateful and excited about people asking for the game on PS4 or the completed version on Steam. It was our hope to have it completed and in your hands for the holidays but the game is not in the shape it needs to be for it’s official, full release.
What’s going on?
As of this moment, the game is content-completed. Every level and bosses are done and we’re in the process of polishing it (sound FX, localization). It’s our most ambitious game (a year-long project is now a year and a half!) and that made it not only longer to develop but also to shape it up properly.
A lot of us at Tribute Game have worked at much larger companies where we worked on tie-in games or other projects that had to come out a certain date regardless of whether they’re ready or not.
What’s the hold-up?
The game runs, but we’re hard at work to make it run smoother! We’re committed to make sure we’re offering a SOLID multiplayer experience, both online and couch co-op.
Given the scope of the game and the level of quality we’re aiming for, fixing glitches and bugs, and fine tuning details takes more time than what we’re used to
When will the game come out?
We’re aiming for an early 2014 release date. Again, we’re very close to the finish line !
What else?
Mercenary Kings is remote play-compatible on Vita right out of the box! That’s pretty cool, right?
