The Desync Beta was pushed live yesterday and we hope you’re enjoying the massive amount of changes and fixes to the game. The game now runs better in multiplayer with all players in better sync with each other. We also hope you like the new third person animations. A few issues were reported that we wanted to address with a hotfix today.

Update 150.0 and HUD or Desync Mods
The update yesterday broke a lot of mods that dealt with Desync and HUD elements. We recommend to disable any mods you have installed and wait for updates. Desync mods will not be compatible with the game after the update and may have very unexpected results. Some HUD mods got updates yesterday to work with the patch. If you are still experiencing crashes please read this thread for more information.

The Desync Beta has received some great response, we are very pleased with the results. Now it's time to release it into the main game and let the entire community enjoy the improvements that the Beta gave.

Below you will find the changelog for this update with bug fixes and changes made to the main game, as well as a separate changelog of fixes to issues found in the Desync Beta since the last update. You can also find a list of all changes that were made during the time the Beta was live.

Attention:
It’s important that you uninstall any anti-desync mod you might be using.
These mods may cause glitches or crashes if left installed once the update is installed.


LuaJit and Mod Support
This update does not include LuaJIT. It was included in the Beta but we removed it since that would break all the mods for the game. The LuaJIT update will come at a later date when the feature is ready. We try our best to make the transition as smooth as possible.

  • Fixed stealth heists not being marked as stealth only again
  • Fixed an issue with overlapping text in the upgradeable Safe House menu when in the lobby
  • Changed the value of the "Quick" crew ability to 25% instead on 30%
  • Fixed exploit that allowed players to sell weapons they don't own
  • Fixed a bug where the van mounted turret would get stuck inside the van after repairing itself if it was killed while activating.
  • Fixed an issue where having the Shield mutator on OD would result in no enemy spawns during assaults
  • Added buttons for "Switch skill tree" and "Reset Skills" in the Skills menu
  • Fixed the issue where the tip says the that you can shoot doors to open them. But you can't do it on the door on the image.
  • Players can now see other players lobby data in Steam friends by clicking "View Game Info"
  • Multi-choice menu items can now be clicked to open a menu with all options available to choose from, only available if using mouse and keyboard
  • Fixed crash if client throws something at the punching bag in Dragan's room in the Safehouse
  • Fixed Poker melee weapon using the wrong animation

  • Made a fix so that suppressed sentry guns are not targeted as much as before

Crime Spree
  • Fixed so that the medic dozer uses the correct reload animation

The police will be stepping up its war on crime with new challenges for any heister that is trying to commit a Crime Spree in their city. Any heister that wish to claim the new rewards added to the cosmetic item pool will surely have a challenge ahead of themselves. There will be new abilities and buffs for existing enemies and even some new unit variants to be deployed against them.

The Spree system has also gotten a bit of an update. The initial buy-in cost is gone for a level 0 Crime Spree. That means you only need to pay when skipping levels in the Spree.

The modifier selector is also different with the new update. After the update there will be three modifier intervals to work with.

Loud Modifiers every 20th Crime Spree Level
Stealth Modifiers every 26th Crime Spree Level
Forced Loud Modifiers every 50th Crime Spree Level.

Stealth and Loud Modifiers will have the player choose from a set of old and new modifiers that will change the gameplay in different ways. Forced Modifiers will always increase the enemies health and damage and will be automatically applied to the Crime Spree when the appropriate level is reached.

The heist selector will no longer be divided in long, medium and short heists like before. The choice will now be stealth, short or long heists. The stealth heist may be long or short.

Attention:
When downloading this update your current Crime Spree will disappear, we highly recommend claiming your rewards before downloading the update. Any unclaimed rewards will be lost when the update is installed.

  • Fixed so that items will show their DLC lock again instead of "Ultimate Edition"
  • Players can no longer be downed while in casing mode
  • Fixed some advanced video options not resetting when defaulting video options
  • Players can no longer select "loud" tactic on stealth only heists like The Yacht Heist
  • Fixed players being refunded cash when default weapon parts were removed from their weapons during weapon validation
  • "Fixed some visual issues with the Beanies masks on lobby characters
  • Fixed an issue where Continental Coins on the end of heist screen wouldn't use thousand separators correctly while counting
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when switching profiles fast in the inventory
