The newest Closer is almost here! And we've got a few weeks of events for you to prepare for her arrival!

Imbued with power (and burden), Bai Winchester is the newest member of the Wildhüter. Using devastating ice-based attacks, this mysterious Closer will stop at nothing to protect those that need it!

Starting on April 9, you can create your new Bai character and reserve your name. On April 23, her emotional story will be playable and the most anticipated character in Closers will be yours.

Greetings, Closers!!

Today marks an exciting and momentous occasion for us – we celebrate one year since we fully released Closers! On behalf of RockyRoad, BearShoes, Smorcerer, and myself I’d like to say congratulations to all of you and to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support over this year. (Don’t forget to log in to the game today to get a free Malek Crystal to sell for 300,000 Credits, available until 11:59 p.m. PST tonight!)

Let’s mark this occasion by peering into a crystal ball and seeing what materializes!

Our next update lands next week: Rogue Agents. This kicks off Season 3 of the game, a new story line with twists and turns, and a level cap increase to level 85! Here’s a look at where the Closers have been and where they are headed!

Recently we shared some roadmap information through June 2019 but we have a bit more to share. The story continues this year with more new characters, new Task Force promotions, new events and dungeons, and content to keep the world alive and moving! Chapter 2 of Season 3 will be surrounded by the releases of the anticipated characters Bai and Seth, and new challenges await you all!



There is so much to come this year and we look forward to going even further on this ride together!

But that’s not all! This will be your best chance yet to get the Dark Command costume set for your characters who don’t have it yet.

• Nitocris Rises!—Nitocris is the newest addition to the fearsome foes you can face in the Purification Ops. You can begin your journey towards Nitocris starting at level 80 in the Purification Ops. Plus, your battles in the Purification Ops will now earn you points towards your overall Purification Ops rank! Increase your rank and earn rewards following the weekly reset!
  
  With Nitocris’s addition to Purification Ops enemies, the order in which enemies appear, and on which days, has been update:
  • Monday: Harpas and Yod
  • Tuesday: Tindalos and Nitocris
  • Wednesday: Tindalos and Harpas
  • Thursday: Harpas and Nitocris
  • Friday: Tindalos and Yod

• Dark Command Returns—Players will have their first chance to get the Dark Command costume for Luna with this update. When we return from maintenance, until Monday, January 21, at 10 p.m. PST, players will be able to fuse Dark Command costumes using Dark Synchro Fiber. Dark Command accessories will also be making an appearance in Luna Schrodinger Cat, Stray Cat (Type and and B) and Skull Rider (Type A and C) Washing Machines, alongside Zenith accessories, and the Dark Command Chests will be once again available in Daily Deals (beginning January 8, at 10 a.m. PST) and the in-game shop.

  • Nitocris Combat Support Events—We have two events running to help you in your battles against Nitocris, beginning when we return from maintenance and running until Monday, January 21, at 10 p.m. PST.
    • Attendance Rewards—Log in for 10 accumulated days for special rewards!
  • Nitocris Craft Event—Completing a stage during the event period outlined above will get you a Nitocris Token. These can be used to craft a variety of rewards.
  • Dark Command Celebration Login Rewards—Special login rewards to help you craft Dark Command costumes kick in following maintenance, and run until Monday, January 21, at 10 p.m. PST. Rewards are available once per account.

• Luna Gets Promoted!—Unlock new skills for Luna and, for a limited time, get a chance to craft her promotion uniform. Luna can begin her promotion quest at level 67.
• Alraune Rampage Event—Beginning at level 40, players can challenge the Alraune Rampage event once per day (same entry limit regardless of elite status). In addition to loot and experience, you can get Carnations from Alraune that can be exchanged for Bona Choi, thenswapped for Closers Badges to craft costumes from the Winter Event Madness crafting event. Some new items will also be added for the holiday season.
• Chain Discount System—A new way to get big discounts (and Night Raid Wings) has arrived in the in-game Closers shop! Check out the EMP Shop section below for the full details.
