The next Closers update is almost here! After downtime on Monday, July 2 at 10 p.m. PDT, you can log in and start enjoying all the new features and events, including:

Violet is nearly here, completing the Wolf Dogs roster. We’ve got a ton of events planned to celebrate!

• Level your Violet from 1–80 between the end of maintenance and Tuesday, July 31, and receive special reward boxes, starting with your first login after maintenance! Rewards include crating items, multiple Yukata costumes, and more!

• Clearing sectors with a Violet character earns you a Violet Token. Collect Violet Tokens to craft a variety of rewards, including a Vulture Corp. Uniform. These materials (and the opportunity to create something with them) expire on August 14, 2018. The items themselves (with the exception of the costume items) expire on January 15, 2019.

With this update, we’re removing the fatigue system from the NA and EU versions of Closers. With this, there are some big in-game changes, and an event to celebrate!

There are a lot of places in-game where you can earn potions to recover fatigue. We’re going to be replacing all of those.

Have you stockpiled a lot of fatigue potions? No need to worry – we’ll be offering up ways to change your fatigue items for something else at Mattermixer Allen. But hurry, after the downtime on Monday, July 16, all fatigue recovery items will be deleted.

The Fatigue system is going away! To celebrate, just log in and play between Tuesday, July 3 and Thursday, July 19 to receive rewards, including a Slot Type Modification Tool and a 7-Day VIP Voucher.

J can now be promoted to Special Agent.

The Special Agent promotion quest starts at level 67 in the Sky Ship Bridge.

• Level your J from 1–80 between now and Tuesday, July 31, and receive special reward boxes, starting with your first login after maintenance! If your J has already passed a milestone level, you’ll receive the appropriate rewards with no additional play requirement. Rewards include Elite Status, Maid vouchers, and items to boost your progress to max level!

• Completing the Special Agent J promotion quest awards the player with a temporary J 1-Star Special Agent costume package.

• Clearing sectors with J earns you a Special Agent Special Agent Certificate. Collect these certificates to craft a variety of rewards. These materials (and the opportunity to create something with them) expire on August 14, 2018. The items themselves (with the exception of the costume items) expire on January 15, 2019.

It’s Nata’s birthday! The first time you log in on July 16–17, you’ll receive a Birthday Celebration Box, containing 20 Pieces of Cake and 1 Luck Stabilizer! (Don’t wait to open it, though! The box and its content expire after 24 hours.)

Calling all Closers,

We heard you loud and clear. As of July 3, we’ll remove the fatigue system from the NA and EU versions of Closers. We’ve been watching, observing, and listening to all of your comments in regard to this system. It became obvious the system wasn’t good and took away the fun for a majority of players in our regions. Naddic is a very player focused developer and aligns with our En Masse mission to create great Player Experiences. So, we are very happy to announce the implementation of this change in the next update!

• Most of the main dungeons already have their own entrance restrictions. Naddic previously removed fatigue in Japan and gained experience in ensuring the economy remains healthy. We will also continuously monitor for any needed changes.

• We are still finalizing this. We are leaning towards converting all existing pots into credits via the Matter Mixer. Before we can finalize, we’re doing some research into the economy of fatigue pots and the balance of converting. For now, I would not recommend stock piling these, as they will not give an advantage going forward.

• We will replace these with another type of consumable and update our DLC packs with the update.

• Nothing will be changed for now. We will continue to monitor and adjust to protect the economy, as needed.

• If you haven’t used them yet, you will be able to convert these when the update arrives. We are also considering a reward to couple with this big change for all players – stay tuned!

• Absolutely! Naddic has already started on these replacements and all pots will be gone with the update.

• We will continue monitoring this and it’s a big topic for all regions. We will update as we have more to share here.

• Clearing sectors that cost 10 Fatigue or more (or are in the Dimensional Ops Center) with a Sylvi character earns you a [Special Agent Certificate – Sylvi]. Collect certificates to craft a variety of rewards.

Sylvi Special Agent Costumes

• Completing the Special Agent promotion quest awards the player with a temporary costume box, and the option to craft a permanent version.

New Sylvi Tuning Options

• When tuning level 75 weapon cores and modules with Sylvi, there is a chance to get EX Skill options on your gear.

The level cap for all characters has increased to 80.

Reach level 80 before Tuesday, July 3 with any character, and you will receive a Lv. 80 Celebration box (one per account).

Added a new hub, with four new sectors:

• (Burning New York Square)
• (Downtown NY)
• (HQ Defense)
• (Path to Union Tower)

Completing sectors from this Hub will earn you [Punisher Phase Wing Fragment], which you can use to craft various items.

Also added new achievements, completion rewards, Crew missions, and gear.

Character-specific Transparent Dimensional costume items for the weapon, hair, chest, hands, feet, and legs slots are being replaced with non-exclusive ones. Any old versions currently in inventory will be swapped out during maintenance. The binding on your items should remain as it was originally. If it was equipped, it should still be bound to the character it was equipped to.

The Closers June update is right around the corner! Right after Seha’s birthday event, and after a couple hours of downtime on Monday, June 4 at 10 p.m. PDT, you can log in and start enjoying all the new features and events, including:

• Closers Summer Vacation—Visit the Gangnam Evac Center for summer vacation festivities! Play the limited-time Event Stage to earn unique rewards and craft items, including summer-themed weapon skins.
  
• 3v3 Arena Brawl—Compete with your Crew in the new 3v3 Arena Brawl mode. Compete during Arena Time for additional rewards!
  
• Special Agent Seha—Take the promotion exam with Seha and achieve the rank of Special Agent! We’ve filled the coming weeks with events to help you get there, and we'll be releasing more Special Agent promotions in the future, so stay tuned.
  
• Total Combat Power Ranking—The Hero Brazier has appeared in Planar Gate! Every day, when you log out, your combat power ranking will be recorded. Statues of top players will be displayed around the Brazier! Team logos will also be featured, depending on which team (Wolf Dogs or Black Lambs) have the most powerful characters overall.

Need a little help leveling up your Seha—or maybe just a little more incentive? We've got you covered with special events and rewards:

• Seha Leveling Reward—Log in with Seha at levels 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 75 to get special rewards (upon first login). If you've already leveled Seha, you'll get rewards for all the levels you previously achieved.

Get ready for the next Closer: Harpy!

On Tuesday, May 22 at 10 p.m. PDT, the next Closers update brings Harpy, an aerial combat specialist who puts her bionic leg to good use, utilizing double-jump combos to pound foes into the dirt!

Harpy arrives with a full level cap of 75, and for a limited time, we’re running a leveling event just for her! “Celebrate Harpy” runs until Tuesday, June 19, and offers:

• Rewards for Harpy characters at levels 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 75; and
• Clearing sectors that cost 10 Fatigue or more (or are in the Dimensional Ops Center), earns you a Harpy Token. Collect these tokens to craft a variety of rewards, including Harpy’s Vulture Corp. uniform.

This new update isn’t just about Harpy, though! We’ve also got events planned to help you take Yuri characters from “Regular Agent” to “Special Agent”:

• Rewards for Yuri characters at levels 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 75—and if you’ve already passed any of those milestones with Yuri, you’ll get the rewards;
