By completing various pass quests, you’ll earn points and increase your pass rank – over the course of 6 weeks you can earn rewards all the way up to level 60.


Anyone can play pass quests and get items. But you’ll get additional rewards if you pick up a TERA Pass: Registration Certificate from the TERA Shop.

With patch 110 comes the activation of the Resonance Gates in Balderon: fight some brutal enemies and upgrade your equipment with new stats.

Resonance Dungeons

Resonance Dungeons can only be entered via the Resonance Gate in the town of Balderon in Baldera. You can access Dungeon Resonance content after completing the [Important] Investigating Dungeon Resonance quest (from level 70).

Entry Details

*There are two types of Resonance Gate: Resonance Gates and Bloody Resonance Gates.

* You can obtain top class gear and higher via the Bloody Resonance Gate. (Including rewards that you cannot obtain via the Resonance Gate.)

* The dungeons, max. level, and recommended item level vary depending on the gate.

*If you click on the Resonance Gate (or press the shortcut F), the entry popup window will appear.

*If you click on “Teleport” at the bottom of the popup window, you will be teleported to the Resonance Dungeon. You can enter the dungeon as a group of up to 5 players.

*Upon completing dungeons entered via the Bloody Resonance Gate, more levels will gradually be added for you to complete.

* You require Resonance Stones to enter, and each member of your group will have to use one Resonance Stone.

* You can obtain Resonance Stones by defeating monsters in dungeons above level 65.
Resonance Stones can only be used in the corresponding season. So AWAKE Resonance Stones can only be used in the AWAKE season.

Resonance Dungeons


A timer is activated when you enter a Resonance Dungeon.

* If you complete the dungeon within the allotted time, you will receive a reward. If you don’t complete the dungeon within the allotted time, you will receive a consolation prize. No rewards can be obtained through drops in Resonance Dungeons. Instead, there are only rewards for successfully completing the dungeons or failing to do so.

* When the allotted time is up, the Resonance effect disappears.

* The Resonance Dungeon you enter is chosen at random. Currently, only Corrupted Skynest (Hard) can be entered via the Bloody Resonance Gate. Further updates are planned.

* Resonance effects are activated at random.

* In dungeons entered via the Bloody Resonance Gate, you will receive additional effects corresponding to the level of the dungeon. We will share details of the Resonance effects with you soon.

Resonance Etching

If you complete a dungeon via the Bloody Resonance Gate, you will receive one Otherworldly Shard.

*If you use Otherworldly Shards to etch gear, they will grant permanent ability stats.

*Otherworldly Shards can only be used on gear from the corresponding season.

*AWAKE Otherworldly Shards can only be used in the AWAKE season on gear from that season. Once the AWAKE season has ended, this is no longer possible.

If you complete a Resonance Dungeon that you have accessed via the Bloody Resonance Gate within the allotted time, the Resonance Altar will appear, where you can enchant the Otherworldly Shards.
Your gear can be engraved (under Inventory -> Forge -> Resonance Etching) with Otherworldly Shards (bound equipment only).

Rankings

Resonance Dungeon rankings have been added.

*The Resonance Dungeon Rankings tab has been added to the Rankings interface.

*If you complete the Resonance Dungeon that you have accessed via the Bloody Resonance Gate within the allotted time, you will be ranked according to the difficulty and your completion time.

* Entries and rankings are reset at the end of each season.

* The Resonance Dungeon ranking is determined by the level and the time required.

* The higher the level, the higher the ranking. Where the level is the same, the completion time decides the ranking.


Desolarus Testing Grounds

The reworked Desolarus Testing Grounds (5 Players) is opening its gates:

Improvement to Piercing

The piercing effect is applied prior to the resistance of monsters.

Are they buried in the sand? Hidden in a boss’ pockets? Where exactly do you find the prettiest seashells? Hunt for and upgrade Arborea’s seashells. If you’re lucky you’ll get **Tropical Beachwear, Mahtnan Gear scrolls, or even the brand new Mighty Qinglong and Mighty Feilong dragons**! Use them to have the dragons apply the Gift of Wisdom buff to you, which has the same effect as the powerful Multi-Nostrum.

The best thing is – you get to decide when you stop opening the shells and receive your reward. Use runestones from the Vanguard Initiative merchants to combine multiple seashells of the same level into an arcane reliquary. Below is a description of how it works. It’s also possible to skip multiple levels in one go when upgrading the seashells, getting you to the high quality shells even faster.

And to coincide with our event, you’ll find the **Sand-Encrusted Argon Artifact** and **Package: Shell Hunter** in the TERA Shop.

The event is playable until **23rd September 2021** (10 AM CEST, 4 AM EDT).

* Collect seashells in every level 65 party dungeon
* Upgrade your seashells as much as you want
* Transform them into arcane reliquaries using runestones from Vanguard Initiative merchants
* Use Corallium from the reliquaries to pick out even better rewards – such as **stylish Tropical Beachwear** or a **powerful dragon as your flying mount**!

* Available in all level 65 party dungeons

Seashell I is the lowest level. You’ll get this as group loot in dungeons, so everyone involved gets a shell. The chance of looting seashells varies according to each dungeon’s difficulty level and how many adventure coins it costs.

Right click to attempt to upgrade your seashell. The higher the shell’s level, the better! Upgrading a shell will increase its level, but if upgrading fails its level may drop or the shell may crack into Brittle Shell Pieces. You can also skip multiple levels while upgrading. If a shell breaks, you have a few options:
* Forms a certain number of pieces back into a Seashell I
* Take your pieces to Scylla on Serpentis Isle and exchange them directly for smaller rewards

* Available via upgrading

Right-click on the seashells to upgrade them. From level III you can combine multiple shells into an arcane reliquary using a Sea Runestone of the same level. Inside you’ll find your reward. Read below to see what each reliquary contains.

* Available for 1 point from Vanguard Initiative merchants

These runestones combine various numbers of seashells of the same level into an arcane reliquary that contains your rewards. Depending on the level of the runestone, you’ll receive an **Arcane Reliquary of the Harvest Moon**, an **Arcane Reliquary of the Silverwaves**, or an **Arcane Reliquary of the Golden Sun**.

Patch 109 opens up a new area in TERA: the long-awaited Baldera! You’ll find full details on this and all the other changes and additions in these patch notes:







A previously unexplored area is now available: Baldera.

* Baldera is located in the Oblivion Woods in Arcadia. The new area can be accessed via the Ruinweald in the north of the Oblivion Woods.
* The recommended level for Baldera is 71. You should only enter once you have reached level 70.
* Baldera is home to the town of Balderon, where you’ll be able to unlock new achievements, start new adventures, and write your own heroic tale.

The solo dungeon for the Fusion Laboratory has been added:

**Rogash’s Trial**
* Number of entries: Two times per day, three times with the Monthly Pass
* Adventure Coins: 400
* Entry level: 70
* Recommended item level: 504

The following items can be obtained: Legendary Relic I Token, Legendary Halidom I Token, skill advancement XP, Mahtnan Option Change Scroll, Murky Mahtnan Powder, and Skill Advancement Stone.


The DPS Meter
* Reduced processing and memory requirements.
* The timer no longer runs when a battle is over.

Character Creation
* Elin: Added 5 new eye options.

**UI and Miscellaneous Improvements**
* The damage area marker is now displayed in the correct position.
* Fixed problems and crashes during battles in dungeons.

Civil Unrest
* Increased the HP of the Guild Tower.

Quests
* Removed daily quests that gave unusable rewards or reputation.

Premium Services
New TERA Pass missions await you:
* The repeatable mission can be completed until the maximum score has been reached. The score is reset at 7 AM server time.
* The daily mission can only be completed once per day. It is reset at 7 AM server time. (The score is irrelevant.)
* The language for the TERA Pass will now be determined by the server language.​

Miscellaneous
* Star Gifts Event now includes updated content.

What’s the TERA Pass All About?
By completing various pass quests, you earn points and increase your pass rank – over the course of 6 weeks you can earn rewards all the way to level 40.

Who Can Participate?
Anyone can play pass quests and pick up items. But you’ll get additional rewards if you pick up a TERA Pass: Registration Certificate in the TERA Shop – including such fantastic items as the Riding Skill: Experimental Turbo Massage Chair and the Flying Skill: Heavy Metal Hell Sofa. More rewards can be seen in the game.

Help inexperienced players in their first dungeons and earn just rewards for your efforts! Here’s how the system works:
* You count as a rookie if you have completed a dungeon less than 5 times and have an account younger than 30 days, or have returner status.
* When rookies and experienced players complete a dungeon together, the rookies can compliment the experienced players at the end.
* Only applies to groups found through instance matching.
* Compliments are rewarded with items. Depending on the dungeon difficulty, you can look forward to the following:
* Adventure Coins
* Goldfinger Tokens
* Elleon’s Mark of Valor
* Legacy Essences
