**Details on the Remaining Dungeons**
Gear and Items
New Mahtnan gear has been added. There are new weapons, armor, foot armor, and hand armor on offer. These are divided into rare, legendary, and mythical rank. There are differences in the base ability depending on the rank. Fusion options, enchantment level drops, and equipment damage have been removed.
The additional option has been added. * The additional option consists of one special option and two additional random options. * Two additional random options are allocated, regardless of the level of the special option. * The level of the special option and the rank and effect of the additional random options are not influenced by each other. * The level of the special option depends on the rank of the gear. * Rare gear: One special option from level 1 to 3 and additional random options of normal to rare rank are allocated. * Legendary gear: One special option from level 2 to 4 and additional random options of uncommon to legendary rank are allocated. * Mythical gear: One special option from level 3 to 5 and additional random options of rare to mythical rank are allocated. * The additional options cannot be changed. * With effects that boost nearby allies (Hymn of Courage/Faith, Mage Song, War Drums), only the highest-level effect is applied, even if multiple effects of the same type are active on party members. * Example: In the case of Hymn of Courage V and Hymn of Courage IV, only the effect of Hymn of Courage V is applied. * With effects that give monsters harmful effects (Curse, Mark, Death Sentence), the maximum number of stacks or duration of the effect described in the option is not exceeded. This also applies if party members trigger multiple effects of the same type. * Example 1: Even if several players try to use Cruel Curse, the maximum of 100 stacks cannot be exceeded. (The effect can, however, be stacked faster.) * Example 2: Even if several players try to use Death Sentence, the 20-second duration cannot be exceeded. (However, the cooldown can be sped up.)
Other details on the new gear The new gear can be crafted or found in dungeons. * Mahtnan crafting materials can be obtained by dismantling Mahtnan gear. * Designs can be purchased from the refining merchant in the capital city.
Exclusive enchanting materials can be used when attempting to enchant Mahtnan gear. * The enchanting materials can be obtained via drops in dungeons or by dismantling Mahtnan gear. * The respective required enchanting materials drop in dungeons according to rank: * Enchanting materials for levels 1 to 3: Dungeon (Easy) * Enchanting materials for levels 4 to 6: Dungeon (Normal) * Enchanting materials for levels 7 to 9: Dungeon (Hard) * Enchanting materials for levels 10 to 12: Dungeon (Extreme) * Enchanting materials can also be obtained from the Vanguard Initiative Merchant for AWAKE Tokens.
When attempting to enchant Mahtnan gear, exclusive additives can increase the enchantment chances and the correction rate. Various items are received when dismantling, depending on the enchantment level. * At each enchantment level, information about the item you obtain by disassembling it is displayed in the bottom tooltip.
Enchanting materials for Kaia’s Soul Gear can no longer be obtained. The information on obtaining the affected items has therefore been removed from the tooltip.
Enchantment System
The transfer system has been added. * The enchantment level, random options, and effect can be transferred to other gear. * This system can be used for the new Mahtnan gear and later. Not long to wait until patch 108 introduces lots of cool changes to TERA at the start of August! An updated list of available instances, two brand-new challenges, Mahtnan items—the next level of gear—and loads more!
New Dungeon: The Fusion Laboratory
The Fusion Laboratory will open its doors as a new instance in normal and hard modes! Take on Rogash, an enemy you should be familiar with from the Exodor plotline. Access the instance in the Verrak Fortress Depths (on Exodor) and you can pick up tons of possible items from the new gear set in reward!
At the same time, the available instances have been updated, with various challenges closing their gates and others making a reappearance, such as The Abscess and Velik’s Hold!
Mahtnan’s Gear
The new gear can be looted in the various dungeons. There are three different rarity grades (blue, gold, purple)—the more difficult the instance, the greater the changes of rarer loot!
The items can be enchanted up to +12, and if the enchantment fails, they neither drop in level nor require repairs.
One special addition are the passive effects: Each time you receive or craft an item, it gets a fixed stat matching the item and class. Search for the best item which suits your character and playing style!
There are also additional effects which can be re-rolled. You can now choose whether you want to accept the newly rolled effects, or keep the existing ones.
No effects can be applied to these items via equipment fusion either—so the randomness of options has been largely removed!

Players who have heavily upgraded their Kaia’s Soul Gear will receive the following rewards with the patch 108 server maintenance:
**Total Enchantment** * The total enchantment is the sum of the enchantment levels of the gear you have equipped. For example, if your weapon is +6, your gloves +3 and your armor and shoes both +2, your total enchantment will be 13.
* Only the gear equipped at the time of the server maintenance counts! * The rewards build on one another, i.e. if you have a total enchantment of 36, you also get all the items from the previous levels. * Rewards apply separately per character. * More details here: https://gf.link/terarewards108
And Loads More!
Plus there’s plenty more in the patch. For example, campfires are making a return (with changes), there’s a summer character selection screen, a system for transferring gear stats, plus the LFG group search is no longer limited to your own server!

During Vanguard Initiative quests, you’ll also receive materials in dungeons that you can fuse and trade for items to customize and adapt your gear. Can’t be online when the monsters spawn? No worries! You’ll also receive fusion materials from your daily login (1x daily).
