As we already announced, the talent system will finally make its way to TERA EU!

To make sure the transition goes smoothly we want to give you the possibility to try the system and help us find issues in the next days! (26.10. – 05.11.)

Between Friday, 26th October at 4:00 PM and Monday, 29th October at 10:00 AM , you can make a serious killing in TERA’s dungeons.

During the event, the drop rate in the following dungeons will be increased as follows:

Dungeons up to and including item level 439:

• Triple loot

Dungeons above item level 439:

• Double loot

Please note that only regular loot will be increased. Regional changes are unaffected by the event.

Hello everyone,

Two weeks ago, we asked you to submit an original artwork for our Halloween Contest and you really impressed us by sharing with us so many fantastic fanarts!

From all the amazing piece of art received, we’ve selected 10 winners which will be rewarded with a TERA Mug, a Snow Pixie Wings, and a Costume (Pixie Costume for the top 3 and Prophet Vesture for the 4th to the 10th position - positions which will be decided by you (see below)).
In addition, we would like to give honorable mentions to 6 users who also put a lot of effort into their creations. They will receive in game within the next days a Prophet Vesture dyeable as well.

Do you want a treat? Then give the pumpkin head and his Halloween skeletons some tricks and protect the Halloween Candy Basket!

Head to the witch detective Titania at the Eldritch Academy in Pora Elinu and have her teleport you to the Harvest Festival Hall. You can fight either on your own or in a group of up to three adventurers.

Use the Halloween Cannon to overcome the waves of monsters. You will receive points for every monster that has been defeated before reaching the Halloween Candy Basket. If one gets through, you will have points deducted. A bigger deduction looms should the monsters make it back to their starting point. The higher your point score, the more Halloween Candy you'll receive in the post. If you fight in a group, the points are counted as a total value taken from all group members.



Note: Without teammates you will only be able to cover a limited area with the cannon, greatly increasing the difficulty of the event.

The Halloween dungeon can be played five times a day between the 25th October (10:00) and the 6th November 2018 (10:00), with a quest for each entry plus a daily quest, for additional candies.

Are you ready for the new Champion Challenges? From Friday, 19th October (16:00 CET) until Monday, 22nd October (10:00 CET) you can look forward to new dungeon challenges for reaping rewards.


Event details:
Mastering a challenge requires you to successfully complete dungeons during the event. You can view your current challenges by clicking on the little Elin button while the event is active. Each time you defeat the final boss of the dungeon, you will make some progress in the respective challenge.

Listen up, all you hardworking collectors! From Tuesday, 16th October 2018, you can collect letters and convert them into fantastic rewards!



Letters

Between 16th October and 6th November 2018 (5 am), every player who logs into TERA will receive the following item after completing a Vanguard Initiative Quest: [Event] Veteran Fire Demon's Tome. This item can be opened by right-clicking and contains one of 18 letters at random.

The Veteran Fire Demon's Tome can also be earned as loot in dungeons:

Runestones

From the Vanguard merchants you can buy various different runestones, which can be used to convert specific combinations of letters into a reward.
Ten copies of the same letter can also be converted into a new [Event] Veteran Fire Demon's Tome.

The Vanguard Initiative needs your help – and will pay just rewards to all who aid them.

During the event you’ll earn fantastic rewards for completing quests for the Vanguard Initiative. Depending on your level, you can earn marks, additional experience or extra item XP. Characters below level 65 will also benefit from double experience when killing monsters, whether or not they’re working towards Vanguard Initiative quests – after all, a world free of monsters will benefit all the forces for good!

Halloween is approaching and preparations are taking place! In the four corners of Arborea, zombies get ready to come out of the ground while witches begin to recite their incantations to find the most frightening artists before the big day... Those who will be able to terrify all the residents of Aborea thanks to their abilities!

This Fan art (loading screen) contest will give both traditional and digital artists the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and skills. We challenge you to create an original piece of art that depicts your vision of Halloween in the world of Arborea. The next big update to fantasy MMO TERA comes October 9th: Patch 75 under the name “Rising from the shadows” brings the Apex skills to the final six classes. It includes two new dungeons and a user interface that has been adjusted and refreshed.

The update lets Sorcerers, Valkyries, Archers, Reapers, Gunners and Ninjas unlock their Apex skills. Those who reach character level 65 can initiate the corresponding quest series and then head into battle with some impressive new skills.

The new game interface is much clearer and tidier after a full and extensive rework, giving it a modern feel. Alongside the newly created health and mana point display, this includes improved skill bars, and sleeker menu and reworked enemy displays.

In two new dungeons players can live the stories of Elleon’s brother Leander and face powerful foes. The Dark Reach Citadel and Grotto of Lost Souls are available in both the normal and difficult versions.

Unleash your true strength! Soon, you’ll be able to try out a bunch of improvements:
Apex skills for 6 classes, 2 brand new dungeons, the improved game UI, the dungeon mentoring system, the next enchantment level for gear and plenty more!

Starting at item level 428 you can get started on your main quest series for awakening. To unlock the Apex skills, the following requirements have to be met:

• You must have reached level 65
  
• Your item level must be at least 439 (roughly equivalent to the Frostmetal set)
  
• You play through the quest chain that sends you automatically to Braga in Highwatch. This allows you to take part in the festival to Velika, experiencing the story behind the festival and learning about your new skills.

6 Awoken Classes

• Classes that receive their Apex skills with this update give passive power boosts that should help them equate to the level of the classes that are already awoken. All classes (except Mystic).
  
• Recommended Glyphs adjusted

The new update lets Heroic Oath gear be enchanted to level +2. You will need the following new materials to do this:

• Precious Rare Metal
  
• Dragon Bow
  
• Weight
  
• Holy Hammer

These items can be looted in 5 star dungeons from patch 75 onwards. Please note that you will not be able to continue collecting equipment experience after a set upper limit.


New Dungeons
In two spectacular new dungeons you can live the stories of Elleon’s brother Leander and face powerful foes. The Dark Reach Citadel and Grotto of Lost Souls wait to be conquered in both the normal and difficult versions.

Support inexperienced players and reap the rewards! Here’s how the new system works:

• With less than 5 completed dungeon completions and an age of less than 30 days or returner status, you will count as a Rookie.
  
• If Rookies and experienced players complete a dungeon together, the Rookies can give praise to the experienced players at the end.
  
• This only applies for groups who can be found through the Dungeon Finder.
  
• Praise is rewarded with items.
