Arborea enjoyed lots of fresh impetus in 2017, as we celebrated the game’s fifth anniversary together and fought our way through unique extreme dungeons. The game was furnished with an all-new enchantment system, and until mid-January players have the chance to really test their mettle on the thrilling event server Manahan.

We’re starting the new year with a blast as fresh challenges arrive in Arborea’s open world from January. Fight against various bosses with your friends, defending supply trains against hordes of enemies, plus jump to the colors with the tuwangi!

The Brawler is shedding her gender-lock in 2018, giving you the chance to don powerfists and pummel your enemies under a flurry of blows with human male characters.

Change is also coming to PvP play, and during the next year we’ll see new battleground rankings visible in game.

Harder, stronger, awesomer! Check out the new legendary skills which aren’t only gorgeous to look at, they give you an entirely different feel when playing the game. Seven existing classes will gain access to their specializations in the first batch. Mystics, for example, will be able to summon a new pet, while Berserkers can take two axes instead of one for cutting through the enemy ranks.

TERA recently saw the addition of the flying costume, a cool new type of gear. In 2018 further customization options will only add to the variety, including hairstyles which allow you to be picked up by other characters, plus more options when placing your head accessories. Larger, smaller, rotated or transposed, in 2018 you’ll be able to wear your hats, bows and other accessories exactly as you please!

Tweak your playing style with talismans! In 2018, these handy items will be available to boost or modify your skills in dungeons, opening up even more freedom in how you play.

This unique new event server offers up an entirely new TERA experience! Opening its doors on 12th December, “Manahan” will be available for just a few short weeks until roughly mid-January, when we update the servers to patch 64. During this time, the influence of the fallen god on the dream will be palpable, providing you with an exciting alternative reality to explore on this special server.

Every TERA player is free to create a new character on Manahan. Please bear in mind:

• Manahan is an international PvE server.
  
• Each player gets 2 character slots. Character slots cannot be expanded.
  
• Shortly before the end of the event, all players who have reached level 65 will receive one character transfer for free.

To provide an alternative playstyle to the normal TERA Servers, playing on Manahan will feature a plethora of changes for you to enjoy:


It is only a matter of time before Arun and Shara manage to banish Manahan to the condescension of oblivion once more. Use this opportunity on the event server to round out your gear!

Manahan’s influence seeps through the dream, manifesting itself in epic PvE challenges. Tons of instances come in a tougher flavor, while even the open world has changed! Bosses in Manahan’s level 60+ dungeons have a higher attack speed, plus additional stat boosts depending on the dungeon.

Out in the snowy depths of Westonia, the gates to this icy tower have been frozen solid for a long time. But that which was held fast in an icy prison now returns to life in answer to Manahan’s summons. Will you flee in terror? Or stand once more unto the breach of dread?
It was Manahan’s power that broke the icy seal, but the Dreadspire will return to life on all servers. Enter the dungeon using the Dreadspire Teleport Scroll which can be purchased from merchants. Steel yourself for extreme dread.

Follow Balbatos into Lakan’s Prison once more where he is trying to deliver his mysterious device to Lakan, whatever the cost.

• For 5-player groups

• 1 daily entry, 2 for club members

Thaumetal Refinery

• Change to critical hits against archdevans

Other Changes

• Changed Vanguard Initiative buffs for 3, 5 or 7-day roll call so that they are received after 2, 4 and 6 days respectively
  
• Equipment items can now only be leveled up when they are character-bound

Seriously tough bosses and epic loot to match – get ready for the reopening of this mother of all dungeons!

• For 5-player groups
  
• Difficulty increases from boss to boss
