Hello! This is the Vindictus team.

Today we would like to introduce our new raid, "Sidhe Palace."
You can depart for Sidhe Palace in Toward Taratha, through the Sen Mag Forest region.

The hero's party explores deeper into those woods following Seanna, who experienced a prophetic vision.
As they emerge the party discovers Sidhe Palace, the resting place of an incarcerated king who spent the final years of his life alone.
Entering a garden full of red roses, the hero encounters the new master of this previously abandoned palace.
Bres is the commander of a vampire army... and revels in sadistic slaughter.
With powerful attacks harnessing blood, Bres intends to force the party into a desperate situation.

Bres brandishes a long, thin sword and threatens the hero with beautiful, elegant movements.

After underestimating the strength of these interlopers, Bres conducts a symphony of bloodshed. She shows her true colors as the battle grows fiercer.

At the midway point of the battle, Bres uses her own blood to make even more powerful attacks.
If hit by these and "Excessive Bleeding" is triggered, you take damage over time for a set duration, and enter into exhaustion more rapidly.
However, if Bres fails to connect with multiple blood attacks, her stance will temporarily falter due to shedding too much of her own blood.

Bres is also capable of absorbing blood from the roses blooming in her garden, and when she absorbs enough, she makes a very powerful attack that covers the entire area.

Be careful when her eyes start glowing in the middle of the battle.
When hit by Bres's red orbs, all of your HP will be absorbed, and you will be incapacitated. These must be dodged or blocked.

Increased the usable range of Sou's "Shattered Sky: Sundered Heaven" by 40%.

3. Battle

"Fire Spirit Remnant" has been added to Red Moon's Energy Battles, and it can be obtained with varying probabilities by destroying the Erg Pot.
"Hero" button will no longer display on Abyssal Arena 1 and 2's difficulty settings when creating a party in Quick Departure.
Fixed the issue where "Abyssal Arena 2" Battle Info would occasionally not display after completing the "Abyssal Arena?" story.
"Full Force" can now only be activated and used against boss monsters.
- "Full Force" will no longer activate against the mini-boss in Red Moon's Energy Battles.
Fixed errors with stats displayed on the Battle Circuit > Create Circuit setting screen.
Boss monster HP of the following battles have been decreased by 10%
- Battle of Rocheste, Clan of Darkness, Spearhead of Paradise Lost, Under the Pale Moon, Ladaton Bridge, and Royal Castle Dungeon
Maximum applicable value of the DEF from Goddess's Guidance is increased from 23,000 to 26,000.

Developer's Notes:
We've nerfed the health of the boss monsters in the above battles (which are the first party-recommended raids you'll experience as you level up) because we feel they're a bit too difficult.

We considered reducing boss damage directly or adjusting some of the more difficult patterns, such as instant kills, but we were concerned that these battles would lose their risk and thrill, when they are still being enjoyed by players who are already familiar with the combat.

So, we've adjusted the DEF effect of Goddess's Guidance for players who are not yet familiar with each encounter, to make it a little easier for them to adjust to the party recommended raids. We'll continue to monitor the difficulty of these battles for new players to ensure that they're at an appropriate level.

4. Items

Using the Skill Reset/Reset Capsule will now change the target skill to the state it was in before training.
> Gold spent on skill training will not be refunded.
> Skills provided upon character creation cannot be converted back to the previous state before training.
> The following are the skill types that cannot be converted back to the previous state before training.

5. Misc.

Attempting to Depart (Solo) with a character below max level, to a party recommended battle, will now display the guide message that recommends party play.

Developer's Notes:
We've added a reminder message to prevent players who are new to the game from accidentally starting a solo run on Normal difficulty when they first see a party-recommended encounter.

This notification will only appear for characters who are not at max level, and it will not appear if you select Solo Mode.

Fixed the issue where ending the battle, returning to Colhen, then entering a building would play the background music.
Modified the internal operation of the channel server.

Seasonal Commerce Alban Eiler Season 3 will begin at 12:00 AM PST on March 1st, 2024 and run until June 1st, 2024 12:00 AM PDT.
- Alban Eiler Season 2 will conclude on Thursday, February 29th, 11:59 PM PST.
- Viewing the season rankings and claiming previous season’s rewards will be disabled for 30 minutes after the season is changed to ensure that the ranking compilation can be completed before rankings and rewards are distributed.
  - [Claim Previous Seasonal Ranking Rewards] and [View Previous Seasonal Ranking] buttons will be deactivated during the reset time, and re-activated when you open commerce UI after the previous season's ranking is compiled.
- When Alban Eiler Season 3 begins, the following new items will be available for purchase from Sayiv, Uladh, and Iria Trade Merchants in Season 3 for Seasonal Ducats:
  - When using a Commerce Mount Extra Style Ticket, only the appearance and name of the transportation mount is different. Once a ticket is used, the style is unlocked permanently.

Dev Comment: To fix the issue where the client could crash when loading the Misc tab due to too much data, we added more categories for Misc data. Addition of the new categories will reset the Auction House Bookmark once. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we have made a change so that the bookmark won't be reset in future updates for category changes.

If the Auction transaction has failed due to the increase of player login or server latency, the payment from the auction will be recovered to the character's bank upon the next log in. However, the gold won't be added if the bank limit is full, so please secure the bank limit and login again.
It has been fixed so that you won't be able to click the 'Purchase' function if the item information has not yet been loaded.
Fixed an issue where the client could abnormally shut down when opening the Auction House.

The following changes have been made to the game:

As magnificent as our Dark Diviner is, we've continued to clean up some text in the storyline text.
Following the mission difficulty reorganization with Tech Duinn missions, all remaining instances of "Elite" have been appropriately fixed to "Hard".

The following bug fixes have been made to the game:

The icon for Leymore's Shoes is no longer cut off in the Dressing Room. We're back to fine close-toed shoes and not sandals.
During the G12 Quest "Mobilizing the Royal Alchemist", one of the randomized phrases of the Secret Note was seemingly impossible to solve. Players no longer are thwarted by the Secret Note's elusive words.
The title coupon names for Anju and Hagi's Secondary Titles have been updated to include that they are secondary titles.

Bug fixes from the January 19th, 24th, and 31st Maintenances:

Fixed the issue where Soft Fur Pelt could not be registered into the crafting UI, so you can now craft Portia's Shoes!
Worry not, the weird spacing error between "Wild" and "Romantic" for "Wild Romantic Suit" in the Dressing Room has been fixed!
An untranslated PC Cafe Button that appeared when clicking the Character Button is hidden once more.
The Dungeon Notebook now displays the correct difficulty names for Tech Duinn.
All Bonnets can now be stored in the Dressing Room.
The recipe for Protective [Red/Blue] Upgrade Stones had a typo on one of the crafting materials. The text has been updated to reflect the proper item name.

When wielding the wicked wiles of the Dark Diviner and the Lord of Ruination staff, the casting animations will now properly animate.
Fixed a fishy issue with the Old Fish Trap event box where it was granting reward from a previous run of the event.

The following are known bugs:

The multiplier within the Doki Doki Dye minigame scales with your UI theme. If you are using a darker theme, the multiplier may be a bit difficult to see. If you are experiencing this issue, we recommend you use a lighter UI theme.

In rare circumstances when rapidly casting Arrow Revolver, players will become unable to move or attack until receiving an attack or relogging.
Several items containing ampersands in their name and description aren't showing the & symbol.
Shop items with expiration times start counting down upon the player logging in or changing channels, rather than having their countdown start when the item is purchased.
There is an issue where one-time/limited items cannot be purchased from the in-game shop, but can be on the web-shop.
There is an issue with the in-game Guild list not populating with guilds.
