Season 3, Chapter 3: Episode 1 – Aidan
This chapter unravels as the heroes encounter an endless and perilous snow storm. Exhausted to their bones, they no longer could move forward but had to keep themselves safe and find a safe spot at a dilapidated fortress that was nearby. They had found themselves at the ‘Forgotten Fortress’.
Little did they know, the heroes were soon to cross paths with two of the most infamous monsters, the ‘Wild Goblin’ and the ‘Deathfrost’.
New Monsters: The Wild Goblin & The Deathfrost
The Wild Goblin is no regular monster. With its sharp teeth and bloodcurdling appearance, you will wish that you never encountered such creature. Dare to go up against this terrifying monster, and your end will be near.
And just in time for the warm weather, we would like to introduce you the Deathfrost. You will surely freeze when you encounter this monster. Deathfrost is a chilling monster with an alarmingly robust figure. Try your best to fight the Deathfrost if you are up for a challenge against this cold-hearted, merciless creature.
Rupacitus Features Updated
Now, don’t be fooled by the deceivingly dreamy bubbles Rupacitus creates, as these bubbles are as deadly as they can be. Stay away from the bubbles if you want to live, we’ve warned you.
Run for your life when Rupacitus starts vacuuming in all the golds! Rupacitus will grow even more resilient as it consumes gold. Run!
Restructured Guild System
We apologize for the omission of the details regarding the Guild restructuring. Please find the details below:
As there have been a few issues with the Guild system, we have restructured some elements of the Guild system in order to provide you with more benefits and efficiency.
Once you join a Guild, you will be given 5 daily Guild tasks, which you can each complete once per day. And with the completion of each task, you will automatically receive Guild Points on top of additional individual reward items. Also, you can collect special Guild Seals for every 10 Guild Points you contribute to your Guild. And all Guild members will be able to purchase special items that are exclusive to the Guild shop with the accumulated Guild Seals.
Furthermore, every Guild Master will be able to manage those Guild Points accrued by the Guild members and purchase certain advantageous skills for their Guilds. There will be a maximum cap of 10 skills per Guild, and those skills will have expiratory dates. Nonetheless, if your Guild members diligently gather the Guild Points, you will be able to maintain the countless number of Guild skills for your Guild. In other words, in order to maintain a strong Guild that unfailingly holds 10 skills, you would need more Guild members to keep up.
In addition, we have seen quite a few idle Guild Masters, leaving their Guilds to be abandoned. And in order to avoid such issue, we have enabled the function to transfer the Guild Master role to other Guild members. On top of all the previously mentioned improvements, we have also worked on improving the user interface in the Guild menus.

Windows Update Patch Update: New Contents, Events, and Items to the Shop Server Upkeep

Vindictus' 12th character has arrived, and she's on fire! The Miri update brings forth the Last Draker, a powerful warrior wielding a massive polearm known as the Dragonspine. But this new mercenary isn't the only feature with this update. We've improved the Seal of Bravery shop with three powerful Enhancement Stones, added new Secondary Equipment for the mercenaries that have gone without, improved the classic Campfires and more!
Miri, the Last Draker
Miri might look like a slight little girl, but this young woman carries the blood of dragons in her veins. Descended from a lost line of Drakers, she is all that remains of their mighty legacy, and the great power that they once claimed.
Miri uses the Dragonspine, a polearm of massive size attached to a chain, perfect for swinging around and keeping a hold onto. Miri fights best in the thick of the melee, surrounded by enemies that will quickly realize what happens to moths that fly too close to the flame...
The Secondary Equipment slot, where Arisha's focus, Fiona's shield and Evie's and Sylas' spellbooks are equipped have always been empty for most of Vindictus' characters. However, with the Miri update, all characters will be able to equip and gain benefits from these powerful items!
Changes include:
All Spell Books (excluding the Fomorian Book) can now be equipped by Delia, Hurk, Kai, Karok, Lann, Lynn, Miri and Vella, in addition to Evie and Sylas
All Spell Books will now grant STR and ATT at the same proportion as INT and M.ATT

New Weapon Style: Teide
In the past, Hurk's been known for being as subtle as, well, an eight foot long sword pounding a goblin into the ground. The Teide combat style changes little on that front, but trades the massive greatsword in for a longsword and a heavy shotgun.
Hurk's Normal Attacks to strike at foes with the sword, wounding them and making them more vulnerable to further strikes. Meanwhile his Smash attacks will fire his shotgun, dealing massive damage to enemies in front of him at close to medium range. As mighty as the shotgun is, it still needs shells to shoot. These shots can be loaded one at a time during a dodge or right before a shotgun blast, or two at once when using the Dodge command while standing still.
Teide Weapon Skills
Like all of Vindictus' mercenaries, Hurk's new weapon comes with a plethora of new abilities. Hurk's Passive Skills will let the warrior tear into his foes. This includes Lacerate, where a sharp blade can open up gaping wounds in the enemy, preparing them for the shotgun's finishing blow, and Shotgun Mastery, opening up more multi-hit Smash combos, letting you get more work done before needing to regroup.
Active Skills bring an additional power boost when you need it most. Active: Split Slash consumes SP as Hurk darts in for a heavy blow, heavily Lacerating anything his blade touches, setting them up for the next strike. He can also use Active: True Shot, setting his feet to take close aim at his foes. Each shot might cost Hurk a chunk of SP, but the blasts will travel further, deal more damage and land exactly where Hurk wants them to.
Finally, his Ultimate Skill is no slouch either. After a quick slash to stun his target, the Active: Desperado ability has Hurk follow the strike up with a a series of two-handed blows with his blade, finishing the enemy off with a massive, overcharged shotgun blast. These abilities and more comes with the Teide Update on August 30th, but there's more here than just one new weapon...
Hero's Lucky Box
The Hero's Lucky Box is a new item that works much like the Vindicator Box: Each box contains a random item when opened, plus a Vindicator's Coupon. The Hero's Lucky Box, however, contains a selection of special Weapons with unique visual effects that can be transferred to your best equipment via Weapon Fusion runes!
All of the above, plus a new addition to the Outfitter Shop, new hairstyles and inner armor for women and plenty of events are coming with the Teide Update on Wednesday, August 30th! Be sure to register for your Hurk Teide Package and be ready to go once the Teide arrives!
