1) Assassin Awakening

Awakening Quest: New Power Beckons

At level 90, you can accept the awakening quest from Saint Haven's Priestess of Darkness Mocha.
However, you must have already finished the 2nd Specialization to be able to take this quest.



After completing the related quests, the "Awakening" skill tab will be accessible via the skill window [K], and you may proceed to add the new Awakening Skills.



Completing the Awakening quest will also reward you with an Awakening Costume Coupon (7 Days). You'll be able to purchase Awakened Costumes for Assassin

Reaper

Beast Swipe (Active) : A succession of powerful kicks as the character advances forward.

Flame Drag (Active) : Retreats with a somersault and attacks enemies. The attacks that follow can be used while advancing forward or retreating to the back. A functional attack skill.

[Awakened Passive] Shadow Hand : When a location other than the front part of the enemies is hit, Shadow Hand is enhanced.

[Awakened Passive] Burning Coal : Ash deals additional hits when Burning Coal is used.

[Awakened Passive] Counter Attack : When enemy’s attack is evaded with Tumble, attack power of certain skills that are used next are enhanced.

[Awakened Passive] Crippling Punisher : Crippling Punisher enhances Beast Swipe and can summon all Ash.


Raven

Crow Storm (Active) : A skill that can only be used when enough successive skills have been used. It pulls enemies and charges forward to deal powerful damage.

Guillotine Cross (Active) : A skill that can only be used when enough successive skills have been used. A bunch of Chain Sickles advances forward on the ground to attack enemies.

[Awakened Passive] Star Combination : Additional Throwing Knives are thrown when Throwing Knife skill is used to gain skill resources.

[Awakened Passive] Chain Combination : Additional Chain Sickle is wielded when Chain Sickle skill is used to gain skill resources and it also has a chance of throwing additional Throwing Knives in succession.

[Awakened Passive] Edged Fan : Edged Fan returns and you will gain skill resources.

[Awakened Passive] Assassinate : When Crow's Deadfall hits enemies accurately, Excess Chain is enhanced.


Abyss Walker

Abyss Claw (Active) : Continuously hits nearby enemies and also attacks some enemies behind them by shooting fangs.

Killing Wave (Active) : Shoots a ball that hits enemies in front continuously.

[Awakened Passive] Line of Darkness : Attack power is enhanced and you can return to the original position before charging.

[Awakened Passive] Illusion Strike : While the skill is being casted, you can change the location and shoot one more time.

[Awakened Passive] Summon Shadow : Shadow is absorbed to enhance oneself.

[Awakened Passive] Dark Conviction : Ball of Fire remains on the ground to deal continuous damage on enemies and targets can be set to concentrate the attacks.

Chakra Grip (Active) : A simple front attack skill for Light Fury who had fancy skills but lacked simple attack skills.

Story Changes


Character Backstory
  • Added backstory for all characters
  • The backstory of the selected character will be shown before entering the prologue

Skill Awakening
  • You can now get a skill awakening stone as a reward of the story "Skill Awakening"

Story Map Camera Work Improvement
  • Fixed the camera angle changing while in mouse mode during a story map after completing the battle

Story Icon Improvement
  • Stories that must be finished to continue the primary story in Vindictus will show a "Main" icon in the Story Hints window
      Icons will have different colors according to each season

Story List Revamp
  • Added a new option to show Main Stories only
      You can toggle this feature at the bottom of the Story window (it will be checked "On" by default)
    • While the feature is activated, sub-stories will not be shown in story window and NPC chat menus, and quest notification marks will be hidden
  • Improved "Hide Stories" function
      Stories that were hidden manually will not be shown in NPC chat menu
    • Main stories cannot be hidden

Story Progression Improvements
  • You can now progress through many stories without visiting NPCs to speak with them
      Press the Story Notification icon, shown in either the Story or Story Hints window, to immediately progress stories (such as talking with NPCs in Malina while in Colhen)
    • Some stories still require you to visit the NPC
    • You cannot talk with NPCs who are not available due to your character's main story progress
    • This function is enabled once a character finishes early tutorial quests

Story Improvements
  • Most items required for stories have been changed to unique story items that are dropped only while you have that story
  • Removed or modified unnecessary, repetitive or inconvenient requirements
  • Some awkward or incorrect dialogues within stories have been changed
  • Story hints are now more direct and easier to understand
      For example, now story hints show exactly who you need to talk or where you need to go
  • Story EXP rewards have been improved
  • Goals and rewards from certain stories have been changed
  • New stories have been added
  • Some stories have been removed, but will remain completable for those that already had the story

  • You can now skip NPC chat, dialogue and story dialogue by pressing and holding the "Ctrl" key during the conversation
  • You can also continue NPC dialogue by clicking outside of the dialogue text box

Others
  • Some Equipment Story Dialog, Goals and Rewards changed
  • A bug that triggered the cutscene for Akadus after finishing "Memories Found" and entering the story map was fixed
  • Removed the story "Ferghus's Technique"
  • As a result changes to stories, some battles will now have different prerequisites
