The latest update to SpeedRunners adds a ton of new features. The main one being auto-kicking AFK players. We still need to tweak this and are looking for your feedback!
Change log:
- Level: Prototype 1 got a big makeover - Level: Added Prototype 2 - Level: Tweaks in Themepark, Powerplant and Factory - Feature: Inactive players are now auto kicked after 15 seconds - Tweak: Increased the fireball lifetime from 6 seconds to 20 seconds - Tweak: Stun behavior has been made more consistent - Tweak: Bombs are back in ranked but they do not stun anymore - Feature: The ranking friend leaderboard now shows ranking points - Feature: Added an experimental replay feature. Some notes:
By default replay recording is turned on now, this way we can find possible issues with it. You can turn it off in the options menu. -- Right now you can record only one game but with some file fiddling you may be able to store them for longer. -- If the gameplay or levels are updated your replay may stop working well, so do not consider it some sort of 'backup' of a game.

As you may have noticed, SpeedRunners is now getting more design updates, including gameplay and map layouts.
Last week we posted an update that made a few changes to classic maps, and introduced a mechanic that would slow you down if you slide mid-air. The idea behind the slowdown was to create a downside to constantly sliding mid-air.
Unfortunately, this backfired as that mechanic is universally loved by the community. So we're reverting it back.
Initially we felt like this was the old boost jumping discussion from way back, but it did turn out to be a feature thousands of players love. So no more slowing down mid-air.
