This Is Toy Story Replicated In Source Filmmaker, And It Gets A Bit Weird

Okay prepare for something a bit incredible, but also very, very strange. This is a scene from Toy Story, reanimated and rebuilt using Source Filmmaker. It starts off weird, then it gets kinda hilarious, then it gets weird again.

I can't really explain why, but I totally love it. The fact that it's so jarred, and such a bizarre clunky parody is what makes it all work.

Updated assets from Team Fortress
Added time scale editing and freeze time on particle systems in animationset editor
Added ability to upload images to the SFM steam community
Added quick way to save an image from the current viewport
Added Set Offset Time to timeline
Renamed Blade Clips to Blade Clips And Bake Time Offset, and added new Blade Clips on shift-B
Improved YouTube upload dialog
Fixed performance bug when switching windows in the SFM
Film clips are now always locked to frames during interactive editing operations
Any film clips that are not on frames now cause the film strip to draw red
Script editor improvements
Updated Qt to version 4.8.3
Removed Python 2.5 and unused Maya 2008 and 2010 directories

22 Of The Best (Short) Portal Movies

Open Source Filmmaker, a community bringing together some of Steam's best movie creators, recently held a themed event called "Turret Week". Members had to create short, original films about Portal's turrets.

While most Source Filmmaker clips are still rough, unoriginal affairs using Team Fortress 2 models, these are wonderful, capitalising on the short timeframe and source material to produce some great results.

This Fantastic Animation Is A Violent Showdown Between Team Fortress 2's Scout and Left 4 Dead's Witch
