A small update will be ready in just a few days and here is a running list of additions/changes that are completed so far. This post will be updated every few days so be sure to keep an eye on it if you'd like to keep tabs on stuff coming down the pipeline.
New Content:
ADDED - Wooden Spike Traps: Vambies will slowly die when caught up in them.
- Animals will attack it like any other building section, only Vambies will get caught in them. - Build Recipe: 1 Log, 4 Sticks and 1 Rope.
Changes:
CHANGE - Fence Snapping: Many have been asking for this to be a possible thing, it now is. CHANGE - New Anvil mesh. CHANGE - Reduced frequency of animal sounds from every 10 seconds to 25 seconds.
BUG FIXES:
BUG FIX - Iron Axe hitting tree stumps had a strange behaviour. BUG FIX - Could not attack birds in a melee state like with and axe or spear. BUG FIX - AI jump attack would sometimes hold the player even from far if the attack was a miss. BUG FIX - Occasionally, the new AI would get stuck and go idle in swarm events. This would cause the event to only end at 4am because players could not kill the entire swarm. BUG FIX - Could build second door in the door frames after a game reload.
Optimizations:
Optimization - Reduction of some normal texture resolutions sizes. Will help reduce Ram requirement.
V7.0 is now available on the beta branch for those wanting to play with all the additions and changes now. Some missing translations are preventing me from putting it on the live branch. For those who are not playing in English, all the new stuff will not be translated. I expect to have everything localized in 3-4 days from now.
To access it, right click the game in your Steam library and hit properties. There you will find a BETAS tab, select BETA and launch your game as usual.

New AI system:
7.0 will introduce a complete rework of all AI systems allowing for a great foundation for me to continue to build upon all AI actions and behavior- these systems are still in the works and only a small portion of what i want the AI to become is complete in this update.
The update is primarily focused on improvements and alterations to the horde night attacks.
- The goal is the increase the danger and difficulty involved in the swarm attacks. AI will focus more on base destruction and will attack from any angle, no longer just try and gather and go in through your gates. - Added new UI info for active swarm nights- it will now display how many Vambies are left to kill to complete the event. - Added a new jump attack that will restrain and bite the player. This attack is limited to the wandering AI in the POIs and the general AI on the map. The swarm Vambies during the night attacks will not preform this attack.

Glass structures: I have started to implement glass structure parts.
ADDED - Iron Axe Head (Crafted on the Anvil) ADDED - Iron Pickaxe Head (Crafted on the Anvil) ADDED - Iron Pickaxe: double the damage, triple the durability of the stone pickaxe. ADDED - Iron Axe: double the damage, triple the durability of the stone axe.
The Anvil: A new placeable required to craft various items such as nails, screws etc.

Nails and Screws: Most placeables will now require nails and/or screws to build. These items can be crafted on the Anvil. Regular wood structure parts like foundations, walls etc will not require nails at this time.

The Ration Pack: Added a new food item, no perish time and will never spoil. +1 Max health and stamina when consumed.
ADDED - Players can now Enable and Disable an autosave feature in the game settings. Players can also adjust the frequency of the saves. There is a small lag spike when the save takes place but it only lasts for a few milliseconds.

CHANGE - I have removed the map fog of war option for now as I think it may be a cause of some crashes players have been experiencing. I may or may not added it back in the future. CHANGE - Can now harvest Firewood into 4x sticks. CHANGE - Starter MRE food item texture changed. CHANGE - Reduced Stone Axe damage on trees from 20 to 15. CHANGE - Reduced Stone Pickaxe Damage on rocks from 15 to 10. CHANGE - Weapons Rack can now support the new Iron Tools. CHANGE - Many placeable recipes will now require Nails and/or Screws. CHANGE - Gate Durability increased from 100 to 400. CHANGE - Horde Nights will no longer end when a player dies. It will continue on after respawn. ADDED - Nails bulk recipe ADDED - Screws bulk recipe
Bug fixes:
BUGFIX - When moveing damaged fenses, the durability would get reset to max health if it was already damaged. BUGFIX - Using dirty water to turn off forges, campfires etc would turn the remaining water clean. BUGFIX - Fixed the concrete doorway mesh collisions. Sometimes would get stuck not being able to walk through if using the new stairs. BUGFIX - Fixed water buoyancy so that player heads remain above water. BUGFIX - Could not drop log cart on heavy slopes. BUGFIX - Could not repair the newer centered wood stairs.

V6.4 is now available as a small New Years surprise. There are a handful of missing translations that will be added at a later time.
ADDED - The Brick Forge.
Consider this the work horse of forging- the Brick Forge can handle the work of 5 forges but requires far less management & fuel. Requires 50 Dry Bricks and 10 Iron Ingots to build, the forge has 10 smelting slots and a slower fuel burn time.
CHANGE - Placeable stacking.

CHANGE - By popular demand, you can now add/remove items to the forge using the Alt/Click method.
CHANGE - Mineral Extractor Change: added clay drop to the mineral extractor when not on an extraction site. New drop rates are: 20% Stone, 20% Iron Ore, 20% Clay and 40% Iron Fragments.

I know, I know, I said no more of these till V7 lol.
However I wanted to fix a couple more things and make a significant change to the mineral extractors.
BUGFIX - Could not repair the new wood and concrete railings.
BUGFIX - World Temp would not be adjusted for the player when in the greenhouse. Now always reads 23 degrees C. This was leading to confusion as players thought they still needed to build heaters etc.
CHANGE - Quite a few have expressed the need to look at the Stone smelting mechanic to gather Iron Fragments. I have made some changes to the extractor to help address this potential problem for some. Mineral Extractor will now drop Iron Fragments, Iron Ore and Stone in none ore extraction sites. Previously players would only get coal and stone. This change is to help reduce the melting of stone on forges to get Iron Fragments. Players will still have to grind the forges to get the first extractor but after that players can rely on the extractor to get iron if they so choose. Drop rates are: 40% Iron Fragment, 40% Iron Ore, 20% Stone.
PS: I do have plans to introduce a larger forge in V7 and also the additions of caves that will also contain ores.
Just a few more fixes before I start on the next content update.
Unless any other game breaking issues, I will not be doing anymore hotfix updates till after the next content update. I need a few weeks to focus and integrate the new AI behavior system. I will post more info regarding V7.0 in a few days.
BUGFIX - Clone/duplicate items bug on crafting stations when adding the items needed to the station and closing the UI. BUGFIX - Could not upgrade the new wood railing open. BUGFIX - Using the large flask to turn off campfire would use up all the water in the flask and not just 1. BUGFIX - Hold the "F" key and press the "M" key would result in the compass and health bar stats UI to stay stuck on screen. ADDED - Can now craft lighters, some have reported missing lighters or simply lost in chests somewhere. Can craft with just 1 Iron Fragment.
Some have also been experience a crash when loading the game after an update. Please refer to the "Crashing?" pinned thread for potential fixes.
CHANGE - Increased durability of the greenhouse from 100 to 500. Because of this change, when you log in for the first time after this change, you will need to repair it to 500.
BUGFIX - Could not repair the Greenhouse.
