“Poison” by Bell Biv DeVoe, “BOP” by DaBaby, “Con Calma” by Daddy Yankee ft. Snow, and the Look Pack: Peppermint Ecstatic will be available to purchase in FUSER later this week!
“Poison” by Boston’s own Bell Biv DeVoe comes as a requested and welcome addition to the FUSER Festival! “Poison” was featured as the group’s debut single, and in 1990, the track earned RIAA platinum certification. This song maintains its status as one of the most popular and recognizable songs of the ‘90s. “Poison” scooped the No. 1 spot on the Billboard US Top 40 and earned additional placement on popular music charts worldwide! The single from the masters of New Jack Swing boasts instantly identifiable drums, with now-classic vocal harmonies from the vocal disc. The bass disc features an upright bass’ refined sound with tasteful and creative synth lines on the lead instrument disc.
“BOP” by Charlotte, N.C. native DaBaby is a Grammy-nominated track from the rapper's sophomore album Kirk, which peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200. DaBaby made waves with the song’s music video, which featured the world-renowned dance crew, the Jabbawockeez. The arrangement is a brilliant showcase of DaBaby’s distinctive lyrical flow. The delicate timbre of the flute on the lead instrument disc is an exciting juxtaposition to the bass disc’s low-end sounds. The drum disc contains all the essential elements of a classic hip hop beat, packaged into an innovative presentation thanks to the track’s impressive production.
“Con Calma” by international superstar Daddy Yankee ft. Snow is a modern take on the 1992 Reggae single “Informer.” Puerto Rican legend Daddy Yankee is one of the bestselling Latin artists of all time, with over 20 million record sales worldwide. “Con Calma” sat atop the Billboard Hot Latin Songs for 14 weeks, in addition to impressive global chart performances across South America and Europe. The music video featuring an animated Daddy Yankee emoji has reached over 2 billion views on YouTube, becoming the second Daddy Yankee music video to do so. The gentle staccato hits from the lead instrument disc perfectly frame the rhythmically playful lyrics from the lead vocal disc. The simple but effective drum and bass discs are a classic Reggaeton pattern, laying a strong foundation for this catchy tune.
This week’s DLC includes the Look Pack: Peppermint Ecstatic! There are plenty of options available for your avatar to ensure your style matches your signature sound. Customize your attire and Stage Kit to further infuse your creations with your unique personality!
“Poison” by Bell Biv DeVoe, “BOP” by DaBaby, “Con Calma” by Daddy Yankee ft. Snow, and the Look Pack: Peppermint Ecstatic will be available for purchase at $1.99 (USD or regional equivalent) each.

“Me Gusta” by Anitta ft. Cardi B & Myke Towers is on the way to heat things up in FUSER. The single from the Brazilian singer’s fifth studio album, Girl From Rio, charted worldwide and earned the number one spot on the Brazil Pop International chart. The visually stunning music video was filmed in Salvador, Bahia, and earned critical acclaim for the diverse representation featured in the video. Anitta offers a fresh take on the popular reggaeton drum pattern, providing Latin influence on your mixes with a new twist! Anitta’s vocals are delivered professionally and controlled, further enhanced by the ad-libs and harmonies from Cardi B and Myke Towers. The lead instrument and bass disc play well together, offering an instrumental call and response that perfectly complements one another. Fun fact, a remix of the song was also released in late 2020 featuring fellow FUSER artist, 24kGoldn!
“Golden” by Harry Styles is the second single from his 2019 album Fine Line. Fine Line, the second studio album from Styles, broke records for the biggest ever first-week sales by an English male artist. The album was honored with a place on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and featured another FUSER track, “Adore You.” The song entered the Billboard US Mainstream Top 40 and US Adult Top 40, also earning RIAA Gold certification. “Golden” contains both a delicate strummed acoustic guitar and electrified riffs from the bass disc. With a wide variety of textured sounds, this arrangement has a timeless quality about it. The emotional lyrics are delivered by the heart-melting vocals of Harry Styles and are beautifully framed with simple but effective harmonies.
“Too Much” by Marshmello, Imanbek ft. Usher is an explosive track that will help lift mixes to the next level! The song is delivered by a powerhouse trio featuring worldwide superstar Usher, and Marshmello, one of the hottest producers in the game! Imanbek, who is also credited on the track, achieved global success with his recent remix of SAINt JHN’s “Roses,” also featured in FUSER. The lead vocal disc fits with a wide variety of styles and genres thanks to the flawless fluidity of Usher’s voice, delivering lyrics alluding to his unwavering romantic devotion. A combination of synth, sounds, and guitar come alive in the lead instrument disc, adding unexpected layers to the composition. The bass and drum discs bring life to the song, driving the energy forward and offering a solid foundation for the creative lead instrument and smile-inducing vocals from Usher.

There’s new music in FUSER to celebrate the New Year! “Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba, “Should I Stay or Should I Go” by The Clash, and “Circles” by Post Malone will be available for purchase later this week. “Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba enjoyed time on music charts worldwide and rose to the top of the US Modern Rock Top 40. Known and enjoyed around the world, Billboard’s Larry Flick said it best “some records just demand attention: "Tubthumping" is one of the rare few.” While it’s a rock song there are so many diverse textures within these loops the song seems rather genre bending. Featuring instantly identifiable vocals and instrumentation, there’s so much fun and comfort to be found in this track. For all the DJs who have mastered the use of horns in your mix, this song is a perfect addition to your Crate. “Should I Stay or Should I Go” as written and performed by The Clash comes from their 1982 Punk Rock album Combat Rock. When released the song charted globally and made an appearance on the US Billboard Hot 100. The track's cultural legacy was also honored by appearances on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in addition to VH1's 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs. Yet another track in FUSER that contains iconic bass and guitar riffs that can serve as a steadfast anchor of any mix. Containing an equally recognizable drum track, this song can add a level of musical familiarity to your otherwise never before heard musical concoctions! “Circles” by Post Malone will have you in your feelings and in the pocket. “Circles” climbed to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and is an active contender for Record of the Year, and Song of the Year at the 2021 Grammy Awards. The heartfelt vocals offering a window into the more vulnerable side of Post Malone, combined with a powerful four in the floor kick drum make for a deeply compelling musical narrative. The track is the third single from Malone’s third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding, and brings a refreshingly honest perspective to the FUSER festival. “Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba, “Should I Stay or Should I Go” by The Clash, and “Circles” by Post Malone will be available for purchase at $1.99 each.
