Thank you for your continued support of Craftopia.

2023 was the year we celebrated two major events: the seamless world update and our 3rd anniversary.
Immediately after the seamless update was released, optimization issues and bugs caused trouble for everyone. We spent a lot of time fixing many of these issues and we continue to do so with the support of players who send us regular bug reports. Currently, we have succeeded in significantly improving the performance of the game in our November update. We have received reports from people who were unable to play the game before that they can now play it. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize and thank all the players who have supported us.

In the roadmap we released for 2023, we planned to add more new content, but for the past few months, we have been prioritizing bug fixes and optimization so that everyone can enjoy a stable game. Due to this, the implementation of some of the planned content was delayed. In 2024, we plan to continue resolving various issues and implementing new elements as we move toward the official release.
Please take a look at the summary of what is planned to be implemented in the future.



We plan to continue working on content in our roadmap as well as more content that we want to develop beyond that.

・Dedicated Server has been released on a trial basis.
We plan to continue optimizing and fixing issues to ensure stable operation.

・New biome "Unnefell Desert" has been partially opened.
Some content such as era level and dungeons will be released in the next update.

・A new type of skill "Boss Skill" has been implemented.
These are powerful skills that can be acquired by defeating certain bosses.

・The Lv cap has been raised and it is now possible to level up to Lv60.

◆ Newly Added Content
- We have opened Dedicated Server on a trial basis as preparations for Dedicated Server, which was temporarily closed due to the transition to a seamless world, have been completed.
Due to changes in specifications, problems such as stabilization, optimization, and defects may occur, so we plan to continue making improvements based on reports.
- Partial release of new biome ""Unnefell Desert"".
New age, dungeons, quests from NPCs, caves, SHOP, etc. will be released at a later date.
A new field boss is also scheduled to appear.
- Based on your feedback, we have improved the usability when installing pipelines.

- Changed the pipeline logic to make it less likely that unintended behavior would occur.
- Adjusted so that the pipes being installed are automatically guided to the connectable end of each pipe.
-Until now, you had to press and hold to install, but pressing the left click once starts the connection, and pressing it again confirms the installation.
If you right-click while the connection is starting, the connection will be canceled.
-When installing a relay pipe, the connection state is now maintained. This allows continuous laying.
-Jumping during installation will no longer cancel the connection state.

Other issues remain, such as installing it in a high place, so we will continue to improve operability and prepare the upper pipeline.

- The Lv cap has been opened. It will be possible to raise the character's level up to 60.

◆ Balance Adjustments
- The production efficiency when producing ""water"" using a cooking pot has been significantly increased. Along with this, the water purification power of water purification facilities has improved dramatically.
- It is now possible to create the item ""Sand"" by baking stones at high heat using a ""Furnace"".
- Adjusted the speed of the following vehicles.

- The suction power of ""Absorber"" has been increased by 5 times.
- Adjusted the dual wield left attack.

- Added resurrection options upon death. Depending on the location, you can select ""last used portal,"" ""dungeon entrance,"" or ""cave entrance.""
- Placed a crystal at the base of the tower. This is a solution to the problem of difficult to understand tower elevators.
- Added a new icon to the Great Sword of Resurrection underground in the full map.
- Changed the motion of the bow.
- Fixed an issue where the reticle and body would overlap when shooting a bow without right-clicking to change the camera position.
- We received feedback that fishing floats were difficult to see at night, so we made adjustments to make them a little brighter.
- Changed the appearance of markets, lively markets, cooking pots, and cauldrons.

- The effect of the item Monolith' has been changed so that it also affects objects that can be mined, such as trees and bedrock.

◆ Balance Adjustments
- Reduced the probability that the weather will be ""rainy"" and ""cloudy"".
- We have made adjustments so that you can obtain ""Handmade Bento"".
- Some items that could only be produced at the ""Skilled Machine Factory"" have been changed so that they can also be produced at the ""Machine Factory.""

- The UI of the era evolution screen has been improved overall.
- We have brushed up a wide range of UI elements.
- There was an error in the description of the skill ""Aerial"", so it has been corrected.
- A ""Go down"" button has been added to the tower menu after completion, allowing you to warp to the bottom of the tower.
- Some weapons had very high colour saturation, so we made adjustments.
- The appearance of distant dropped items no longer rotates.
- The recipe reward for exchanging Anubis Soul Orb has been changed from acquiring Blueprint items to directly unlocking them. Any items you missed will be unlocked when you restart the game.
- When a detector is equipped, a target change button will now be displayed on the action button at the bottom left of the screen.
- The item ""Relaying Container"" has returned to crafting recipes.
- The step on the ""dash board"" has been removed.
- Wood Drone Base has been temporarily disabled while it is being reworked.
A replacement item will be released at a later date.

- Fixed some issues such as text becoming distorted or overlapping with other UI when increasing the font size in options. If any other problems related to font size are discovered, we will make corrections as needed.
- Fixed an issue where the tutorial popup would run off the screen in 5K ultrawide.
- Fixed an issue where some buttons could not be selected in the home scene game pad or the selection direction was set opposite to the input.
- Fixed an issue where the arrows pointing to off-screen quest NPCs were upside down.
- Incorrect information was written at the bottom of the difficulty setting screen when creating a world.

- Fixed an issue where if you logged out outside the dungeon while conquering a dungeon in multiplayer, the restart position would be fixed at the entrance of the dungeon.

In 2023, Craftopia successfully celebrated its 3rd anniversary thanks to everyone's support. It's been a big year for Craftopia as we released the seamless update.

On September 4, 2023, Craftopia celebrates its 3rd anniversary since its release! It is only because of your support that we are able to continue developing Craftopia to this day!

To commemorate the 3rd anniversary, we will be implementing some small commemorative items into the game this year as well as furniture items requested by winners of architectural design contests held in the past, so please be sure to craft them.

After about a year and a half of development, Craftopia was made seamless at the end of June, and the game's mechanics were greatly improved from the previous format of moving between islands. We have made various changes to the game system and rebuilt it into a game that can be enjoyed by those who have left Craftopia and those who are playing it for the first time, so even those who have not played it yet after making it seamless, please try playing it once!

However, there are still issues to be solved, and we are working on improvements, not only in terms of game balance, but also in identifying the causes of problems that can put a heavy load on the game in certain environments. We are also currently working on support for Xbox, which has received a lot of feedback, so please look forward to further updates.

We have passed one big hurdle: making it seamless, but we will continue to work together with everyone to advance development towards our 4th anniversary, so please continue to support Craftopia!
