◆ Bugfixes - Robber Kevin gets stuck in the ground less frequently. - Fixed a bug that allowed Kevin to attack players even while charmed. - Fixed a bug that prevented bow attacks from consuming the Weapon Polishing buff. - Fixed a bug that displayed the wrong amount of possessed gold in the Altar of Civilization screen. - Fixed a bug that allowed you to reveal parts of the map while in a dungeon. - Players clip through walls less frequently when getting off of chairs. - Fixed a bug that prevented players from placing walls on top of Flat Scale Rooves. - Fixed a bug that incorrectly deleted the item even when cancelling the "hold to delete" action on a gamepad. - Fixed a bug that allowed the livestock farm to continue working when the mob inside is no longer alive.
◆ Improvements/Adjustments - Notifications displayed when Kevin steals/eats your items now display the icon of the items as well. - Modified some items' previews on the crafting screen. - Players can now use items while sprinting. - Changed the skill description for Unstoppable. (every time you attack -> every time you melee attack) - Wood will now keep their enchantments when made into charcoal with a campfire. - Adjusted camera movement when firing your bow to correctly align to the center of your screen, even when not aiming. - Modified livestock farm's hitbox so it is easier to dunk hostile enemies. - Improved the health synchronization of the mobs inside livestock farms and generators in multiplayer.
◆ Newly added - Added "Talisman Flag". This flag will prevent hostiles from spawning within a certain range. Monos can no longer invite themselves into your homes. - Added "Wooden Door". Fits snugly into door frames. Improved security and wind is no longer an issue. - Added "Bright Wooden Square Table" from the Bright Wooden furniture series. A fitting duo for the chair. - Added "Dark Wooden Square Table" from the Dark Wooden furniture series. When darkness suits you more.
◆ New enemies - "Goblin Hunter" has been newly added. They will snipe you from distance, so prioritize defeating them!
Hello everyone! Thank you very much for playing Craftopia. We're planning to announce the roadmap for Craftopia tomorrow. But first, we'll announce the future development regime and frequency of updates.

◆Background
Craftopia is on the stage of the Early Access, and we're developing every day. We're passionate about development, and the community is very supportive; therefore, we've kept updating Craftopia on a daily basis. But there are issues we can't turn our eyes away.
1. Daily updates cost way more than we've expected
a. Discussion on the update b. Development of the update c. Translation of the update(Japanese => English, Japanese => Chinese) d. Preparation of the patch note e. Translation of the patch note(Japanese => English, Japanese => Chinese) f. Testing of the update g. Publishing of the update The processes of c, d, e, f are taking way too much time. (If you know our previous video game Overdungeon, it costs the same amount of time, basically!) Our development should be accelerated if we cut off these overheads by updating weekly instead of daily.
2. Heavily relied upon users, translators, developers, and all
Some processes are significantly time-consuming and depending a lot on the community. We ask the community for translation and testing every day. We sincerely appreciate all of the help provided; however, it's not realistic to continue this every day and forever.
3. Not every user demands daily updates
This might surprise you: some users don't want the daily updates. We've received the voices such as it's a hassle to download the update every time I play; it's painful to re-build the structures with new items; it's hard to stay up-to-date with the changes. We appreciate all of this feedback. We're admitting the daily updates delayed the speed of development on a long-term basis. We've updated the game daily because we wanted to prove our passion for Craftopia is true. We wanted you all to enjoy the new content and features as soon as we developed. We've been working on Craftopia with our best effort, and we'll continue to do so. We'll keep putting our best into the game while we're listening to all of you. We believe that everyone understands that we're not a dev team that sells and ghosts. We always want to provide you with fresh-baked content. But we'll aim at the long-term goal from now on. We'll change the development regime a bit to develop more efficiently. Thank you very much for your continuous supports.
◆About the versions of the future updates
We'll release Craftopia for the three following versions: - 1. stable; - 2. beta; - 3. alpha-unstable; The stable version is the version we recommend most of you to play. When you launch Craftopia via Steam in a regular way, you'll only get to play this version. The beta version is the version without fatal bugs and flaws. This version still contains some bugs, though, new content will be added more frequently than the stable version. This version is recommended to the players who have played Craftopia for a while. (The bug where save data get lost should be fixed in this version.) The alpha-unstable version is the version contains experimental updates and possibly critical bugs and lots of glitches. It's not recommended to play this version if you aren't familiar with Craftopia. Please DON'T forget to take a backup of your save data.
◆About the frequency of future updates
- 1. stable: weekly - monthly - 2. beta: weekly - bi-weekly - 3. alpha-unstable: daily - once a few days Besides that, when we fix the critical bugs, we'll apply them to the stable version as soon as possible. Please feel free to report the bugs to us if you find one.
◆Lastly
It's been two weeks since we released Craftopia. We're cheered up by the community, surprised by the creativity. We've been overwhelmingly busy developing the game, but we've enjoyed it from the bottom of our hearts. We're just a small dev team of 4 and sorry for not supporting all of you. (We've received lots of lots of messages via e-mail, Discord, Twitter from 50 or more countries.) We assume that it'll take a fair amount of time to accomplish what we're dreaming, but we'll keep putting our best effort into Craftopia. Thank you very much for supporting us! (We're trying to strengthen our development regime by recruiting a small number of developers and PM!)
◆ Critical bugfixes and improvements - The Thieve NPC has been significantly updated. It will have a hostile act against the players. The higher the Lv of the thieves, the better enchanted items will drop from them.
◆ Bugfixes - Fixed an issue where the World Heritage continues being build when checking the World Heritage UI during placing the World Heritage. - Fixed an issue where the text written above the World Heritage doesn't get updated after the construction of the World Heritage. - Fixed an issue where the attack collision detection gets left when using "Triple Slash". - Fixed a bug where attacking dead bodies still causing damages. - Fixed a bug where the cost of the seed making machine and the selectively breed seeds doesn't show up properly. - Fixed a bug where the cost not showing properly when selling multiple items at the market.
◆ Improvements - The enemy's Life point and ATK according to the Island Lv has been mitigated - The damage calculation has been fixed. It has changed in a way where the damage against the enemies increased, and the damage from the enemy also increased slightly. - The damage reduction when shielding is successful has been buffed. - The jumping upward motion when using "Captured Lizard Axe" and "Captured Lizard Sword" has been fixed.
◆ Newly Added - We've added chairs! A nice furniture that will prevent you from starving by just sitting! - We've added a new Sci-Fi series! "Sci-Fi Wall", "Sci-Fi Floor", "Sci-Fi Slope", "Sci-Fi Roof", "Flat Sci-Fi Roof"!! Building a space station is no longer a dream! - We've added a new Straw‐Thatched series! "Straw‐Thatched Roof", "Flat Straw‐Thatched Roof", "Straw‐Thatched Corner Roof A", "Straw‐Thatched Corner Roof B", "Straw‐Thatched Gable Roof A", "Straw‐Thatched Gable Roof B", "Straw‐Thatched Gable Roof C"!!
◆ Critical Bugfixes/Improvements - Restoring your save file from a backup no longer alters the items you can get from treasure chests.
◆ Bugfixes - Fixed a bug that allowed you to retrieve the same rotating saw multiple times. - Fixed a bug that resulted in higher yields when harvesting crops with Wind Edge. - Fixed a bug that caused in some cases for NPC corpses to turn generators on and off repeatedly. - Fixed a bug that caused mob states in generators to not synchronize properly between the host and the guests in multiplayer. - Fixed a bug that prevented NPC corpses from despawning when turning night in multiplayer. - Fixed a bug that displayed the max quantity that can be placed, and the quantity already placed in the market incorrectly.
◆ Improvements - Modified the collision of the generator. This change will make them easier to retrieve. - Retrieved world heritage buildings will now keep their construction progress. - Wind Edge: Skill can now target NPCs. - Arch Heal: Can now heal "charmed" NPCs. - Time required to produce bioethanol is reduced from 60 seconds to 40 seconds. - Fixed hat sizes, and where they rest on your head. - Modified some of the looks in the graphics setting screen. - Fixed dungeon and boss themes to loop properly. - Added a setting for autosave intervals. - Performance improvement to some of the dungeons.
◆ Newly Added - New items: "Wooden Arch" "Wooden Corner Slope" has been added. Improvements to wooden buildings!
◆ Critical bugfixes and improvements - In multiplayer, The bug where the items can be mass produced using the NPC has been fixed. - A bug where placeable items can be placed even when it is stuck underground has been alliviated. - An emergence soluition for the placeable items being stuck underground has been added. Now, the items will drop as an item to a nearby ground or on the location of the player. NOTE: the following error message may be displayed when you entered the world. "A building placement error has occurred. The item has been dropped on the ground near the placement coordinates or at the host's coordinates." When you use skills like Frost Mine to forcibly move placeables, the same error message may be displayed.
◆ Bugfixes - Fixed an issue where the player was not capable of generating power when running in the "Generator". - Fixed an issue where the player continuously warps in the jungle biom. - Fixed an issue where the connected game pad won't vibrate when using a mouse and keyboard setup. - Fixed an issue where the backup data won't delete itself after restoring from the save data.
◆ Improvements - In multiplayer, the experience point distribution's effective distance is now changed to within the same dungeon, or when onland. - When in charm status caused by "Arch Heal"(the status where the captured creature is releasing heart marks.), you are now capable of healing that enemy. - A part of the UI is now fixed so that you can scroll, bounce, and drag in a larger area. - The slot placed on the side of the market's delivery screen has been increased from 7 to 8. - The chest screen and the market's delivery screen has been fixed so that you cannot press the repair button. - The keyboard and the game controller now has its own "Dash (Toggle)" setting. - The overall performance has been partially updated.
◆ Newly Added - ”Plaster Wall”, "Scale Roof", "Scale Corner Roof", "Flat Scale Roof", "Scale Gable Wall A", "Scale Gable Wall B", "Scale Gable Wall C" has been added. Roof related stuff is a new one! Go ahead and utilize it for your house making!
◆ Critical bugfixes and improvements - A bug where the "slate of growth" can be mass produced using the NPC in a certain situation has been fixed. - The quest NPC has been changed so that it will function properly in multiplayer mode.
◆ Bugfixes - Fixed an issue where the percentage reduction of DEF, such as "Backwater Formation", was not working properly. - Fixed an issue where the required world level was incorrectly displayed in the list of items that could be created in the item details screen. - Fixed an issue where the shield sound effect would continue to play while the shield was being held. - Fixed a bug where negative enchantment effects were not being applied. (Please note that negative effects that were not applied before may be applied now!)
◆ Improvements - In multiplayer, we changed it so that the experience gained when defeating an enemy would be split equally among other players nearby. - Reduced the weight of the conveyor belt. - Fixed the heat, cold, and poison resistant levels of equipment to now be displayed in the UI. - Tree and rock icons on the full map are no longer visible. - Changed text regarding possession loss on death. - Inventory screen scrolling has been fixed to avoid bouncing. Changed the draggable area. - Added option to toggle dash. - Texture quality settings added to the settings screen. - Default settings for texture quality was changed.
v20200915.2236 had a problem with multiplayer. The latest version, v20200916.0300, has been fixed. Please note. ◆ Critical bugfixes and improvements - Some placeables, such as chests, have been updated to float in the water. This will allow chests and other items that have fallen into the sea to float. - Fixed a bug where the items sucked by "Absorbers" attached to the "Chests" would disappear. - The bug which your life points becomes 100 even when your maximum life is greatly above 100 has been fixed.
◆ Bugfixes - Fixed an issue where the same emote could be triggered in succession. - Fixed a bug that caused the player to use emotes to dive underwater. - We have changed Emote 1 to "Sit". Changed the order of some emotes to reflect this change. - Fixed a bug where sowing seeds was causing damage to the placeables. - The number of seeds generated in the description of the seed extractor has been corrected from "1 to 3" to "0 to 4". - Fixed an issue where unnecessary effects were being displayed on map placement items. - Fixed an issue where a legendary display would always appear above the item detail icon. - Fixed an issue where two-handed weapons would remain equipped after resetting the two-handed skill. - The movement emote was unintentionally being played. This emote is now changed to a salute emote. - The description of "Unstoppable" had an inaccurate description. The ability is used during a melee attack instead of a regular attack. This has now been fixed. - Fixed an issue where the settings screen would sometimes be distorted. ◆ Function Improvement - Enchantement has been added to the crops created within the farm. - The player's recovery from a fall has been improved. - "Wall" type structures will now have a placement estimation on a downward position when turning the person of view downward. - The time required to collect a placed item has been reduced to half. From 1 second to 0.75 second. - The movement buff when using "Great Escape" has now been effected when walking and swimming.
◆ Newly Added - "Dropper" has been added. It is a module that periodically drops items when set to an item such as a "Chest". - "Wood Grain Patterned Wall", "Wood Grain Patterned Floor", and "Wood Grain Patterned Slope" has been newly added!! No need to worry about the cold wind entering your room through the cracks!!
◆ Localization - Improved some translations and changed some machine translations to official translations. (Still a WIP but nearly finished!)

◆ Function Improvement - The camera distance when emoting has been fine-tuned. - The building rotation and camera reset key can now be set. - The maximum value of gold held by the player is now limited to 13 digits.
- Fixed a bug that prevented campfire UI and items from being split when dropped outside of their frames. - Fixed an issue where skills in empty hotkey slots were being saved. - Fixed an issue that prevented resetting or saving key settings. - Removed the word "Change Target" that was displayed when the detector was not detecting anything. - Fixed a bug where a skill could be activated without cost consumption when a player activated it while falling.
