This week on Radio we've got a couple of 6+ minute psytrance songs from Italy's DjSimos.

"Linear gravity" has a middle-eastern flair to the melody and "Density" is made super-dense with the as-steep tag.

This week on Radio we've got some fast Latin tracks from Trafiko. "La Magica Nocturna" and "El Querreque"s rapid-fire lyrics and fluttery flutes make for some thick traffic.

My daughter fell in love with this Ejay Evan Lac song for its title: Butterfly Robot. And you know what? It does sound like a butterfly robot!

This week on Radio we've got some twangy, twisty tracks from the Florida blues/pop band John Q. "Brushfire" has a driving groove and "Scared Sh*tless" is an extremely rhapsodic account of being too scared to talk to a girl.

And we finish up with the bizarre Gypsy-Celtic fusion that is the Freak Fandango Orchestra. "Sad Passanger's Waltz" is my shower-singing song of the week.

We at Team Audiosurf (aka Dylan, me, and our two kids) just spent a few days in Hawaii doing some actual surfing, so Sentinel's electronic instrumental "Hawai" (we think they're missing an 'i' there) felt right to us this week for Radio. It's got an 80s feel to it--I could definitely see Crockett and Tubbs riding around to this.

We're also featuring some bluesy, twangy songs from The Dada Weatherman. These songs remind me of the songs Juliette Lewis sings in Strange Days.

And uh, Dylan wouldn't want me to say anything but it's his birthday today. Happy birthday Mr. Audiosurf.

As long as BS keeps kickin out awesome, atmospheric-sounding trance, we'll keep featuring it here on Radio.

"Aurora Project" is classic BS, with its "I'm on an awesome spaceship" vibe. "The twilight zone" has a classical music feel with its arpeggios. I like the bubble-poppy-floatiness of "Elastique". "Sciences" has a similar floaty feel but with thicker textures.

Reminder: The next AUDIOSURF WORLD TOURNAMENT is on the 27th! Players Saeda, Blue_h3x, ViRUS, and Mincus have organized this - complete with a tournament website. It's open to everyone. Have fun!
