We'd like to notify you of the major changes that will be arriving with the upcoming update on May 29th.
1. Combat Pages bound to Key Pages
- Each Key page now comes with a preset bookshelf (deck) of Combat pages.
- Level up the Key page to unlock the ability to customize its Combat bookshelf.
- We're implementing this change to reduce the difficulty of deck building in the early game.
- Focusing on RPG elements, good equipment (Key pages) will now come with good skills (Combat pages) immediately with this change. New players will only have to think about what Key page to use in the early game, and will gradually be introduced to new cards and archetypes as they grow and unlock the ability to customize their decks.
- The aim of this change is to lift the burden of building the right deck of Combat pages while the player is being introduced to other mechanics.
2. Appearance Projection
- When a Key page reaches a certain level, you will be able to change its appearance without having to equip a different Key page.
- The appearance of a Key page will be automatically registered to the upcoming Appearance Projection inventory once it reaches the level where the feature is unlocked.
3. Abnormality Battles
- Upon completing the Assignments of a floor, the player must fight Abnormalities before they can open the next floor.
- The Abnormalities lie dormant in books where the ideal environment for them is simulated.
- Librarians will enter one of the books and fight the librarian who has been corrupted by the Abnormality's world.
- Upon winning the battle, a librarian will be freed, and you will be able to use the Abnormality's cards during receptions.
4. Abnormality Pages
- Abnormality pages can only be used by librarians now.
5. Emotion System - The whole team will share their Emotion Level, rather than individual units having their own separate Emotion Levels.
2. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where the text explaining the effects of 'Retaliate' was omitted. Fixed an issue where the passive ability 'Your Shield' had the wrong description. Fixed an issue where the detailed info UI would unintentionally be displayed during engagement.
Follow the procedure below to customize the appearance of your librarian with image assets of your own.
In (Directory where the game is located)/LibraryOfRuina_Data/Customize, create new folders under the folder for each part, and place the images inside to use them in-game through 'Librarian Customization'.
Each part requires different amounts and sizes of images. For instance, front hair consists of two images: one for the librarian's default pose (Default.png), and one for when the librarian is looking to the side (Side.png). There are sample images in each folder that you can use as a reference.
We opened a forum for customization. You can write customizing articles in the forum.
