Library Of Ruina - Project Moon
Follow the procedure below to customize the appearance of your librarian with image assets of your own.

In (Directory where the game is located)/LibraryOfRuina_Data/Customize, create new folders under the folder for each part, and place the images inside to use them in-game through 'Librarian Customization'.

Each part requires different amounts and sizes of images. For instance, front hair consists of two images: one for the librarian's default pose (Default.png), and one for when the librarian is looking to the side (Side.png).
There are sample images in each folder that you can use as a reference.

Hot fix) Fixed an issue where caused the game to freeze when fighting while wearing Battle Symbols

1. Content Additions
  • Added 20 Battle Symbols. You can obtain Battle Symbols by fulfilling certain conditions in combat.
  • Added alternative appearance options for certain Key pages.

2. Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where certain late-game enemies had disproportionately low HP.
  • Fixed an issue where passive abilities of certain Key pages were omitted.
  • Changed some Assignment texts to fit the current system.

1. System Changes
  • Key pages and Combat pages are now shared by all floors.
  • Removed Floor realization state (experience points). Completing Assignments is now the only requirement to level up floors.

2. Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the equip limit of Key pages did not apply properly.
  • Fixed an issue where the list of resolved books after reception displayed the total amount currently owned by the Library.
  • Fixed an issue where characters would sometimes keep moving right after attacking.

3. Balance Adjustments
  • Decreased the HP and Stagger Resist of librarians and enemies.
  • Lowered the difficulty of earlier stages.
  • Buffed the five basic Combat pages.
  • Buffed three early-game Combat pages (Parry, Wallop, Gut-harvesting).
  • Buffed Combat pages of Objet d'Art grade.
  • Increased the drop rate of books at higher Emotion Levels.

1. Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the camera would sometimes stay zoomed in with no way to zoom out.
  • Fixed an issue where two characters would continuously move in the same direction while engaging.
  • Fixed an issue where some effects would persist after the battle ends.
  • Fixed an issue where some Key pages would display the wrong appearance.
  • Fixed an issue where the assignment "Check the third episode of Yesod's story" would not be cleared even after fulfilling the condition.
  • Fixed an issue with card cost-related Assignments in the Floor of Literatrue.
  • Fixed an issue where a new episode of Malkuth's story wasn't being unlocked even after the Floor of History reached level 4.
  • Fixed an issue with the UI after leveling up floors.
  • Fixed an issue where filters did not function in the book list.
  • Fixed an issue where General Invitations couldn't be sent properly.

2. Gameplay Changes
  • Adjusted the overall balance of Combat pages.
  • Changed the effect of "Enhance Dice" to fit the current system: "Increases the maximum value of the roll by 3."
  • Changed the effect of "Weaken Dice" to fit the current system: "Decreases the maximum value of the roll by 3."
  • Certain Key pages now have the passive ability to gain additional Speed dice slots.

  • Changed the timing when General Invitations are unlocked.
  • Added a visual indicator when hovering the mouse over a broken die.
  • Added a range display for the expected impact of the current action during engagement.
  • Improved the Invitation UI.
  • Tweaked the Invitation so that you cannot place more than one copies of the same book at once.
  • Removed the "Sort Books" function.
  • The language selection screen will not display more than one time on startup.

Currently, there is an issue where "Book of the Distortion" and "Book of Lobotomy Corporation" can be used to send General Invitations.
As there is no way to reacquire these two books once lost, using them to invite general guests and losing the reception will make it impossible to progress further.
We will resolve this issue by tomorrow. We apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused.

1. Changes and additions
  1. Replaced Sided Dice with Value Ranges that have set minimum values

    • We've determined that pure TRPG-styled (Tabletop) dice rolls do not best fit the aim of our game's genre and future content.
    • With this patch, dice will come with minimum and maximum values instead of sides.

    • The minimum and maximum values of dice will depened on the rarity of the page and how early in the game the page can be obtained.
      We will try to add more diverse effects to cards in the future.
  3. Auto-Rolling Dice

    • Added an option to automate the process of rolling dice in combat.
    • Pressing the corresponding button during battle will turn on the feature for the duration of the battle, which can be toggled off by pressing it again.
  5. Balance Adjustments

    • Nerfed the overall stats of enemies.
    • Lowered the realization (experience points) required to level up pages and floors.
  7. Better Emotion Level Rewards

    • Enemies will drop up to three books depending on their Emotion Level at the moment of death.
    • Also, enemies with higher Emotion Levels are more likely to drop books of better grades.
2. To Be Added) Improved Combat Tutorial

We plan to improve the tutorial teaching the controls for combat segments.
We will make it so that the player can follow instructions for each step of the way and try the controls themselves rather than having to stare at the manual before jumping into actual combat.
