Hello everyone!
In this update, we have made some balance adjustments to weapon inscriptions, boss skills and daily challenge, and fixed some bugs. In addition, the new hero, new boss and new weapons are expected to be updated in the version at the end of this month. Please stay tuned.

Here are details of this update:
UI:
  • Optimized numbers display in the description of status icon
  • Optimized edge details of the emoji wheel
  • Optimized the text box display of the total damage in the team information interface
  • Optimized the display of extra effects in the daily challenge "Elemental World"

Levels:
  • Optimized completion requirements of Elite Vaults
  • Optimized locations of some lightning traps

Weapons
  • Adjusted balances of some inscriptions:
    • Original:“+50% weapon DMG against enemies within 8 meters, but -50% effective range"
      New:"+35% weapon DMG against enemies within 8 meters, but -50% effective range"

    • Original:"+50% weapon DMG against elites and bosses"
      New:"+30% weapon DMG against elites and bosses"

    • Original:"Magazine capacity becomes 2. When the first shot can't kill the enemy, +200% Lucky Shot Chance to the second shot."
      New:"Magazine capacity becomes 2. When the first shot kills the enemy, recover 1 ammo to the magazine. Otherwise, +200% Lucky Shot Chance to the second shot."

Monster:
  • Decelerated the action of Smash Attack and Jump & Smash Attack performed by Lu Wu in elite and nightmare difficulty

Daily Challenge:
  • Modified the additional effect in the daily challenge "Explosive Carnival":
    Original: The more enemies hit by explosion, the more projectiles for next shot (2 additional projectiles at most)
    New: The more enemies hit by explosion, the more projectiles for next shot (4 additional projectiles at most)
  • Added UI prompt for the additional effect "Select a random element after elimating all enemies in an area, and the selected element deals no DMG to enemy or player in the next area" in the Daily Challenge "Elemental World"
  • Added a confirmation prompt to alert players that entering daily challenge would erase saved progress in previous run.
  • Added UI prompts of gaining/spending copper in the daily challenge "Economy Pressure"

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed the issue regarding text layout errors in daily challenge
  • Fixed the issue where some names of weapons and occult scrolls were displayed in Chinese
  • Fixed the issue where opening backpack might occasionally pause the game
  • Fixed the issue when using Cavalry with its exclusive inscription "If all three bursts deal critical DMG, +50% CritX and all hits trigger Crit for a short period of time", the count shown on the status icon is displayed abnormally
  • Fixed the issue where some monsters may cast their skill with their back turned to player
  • Fixed the issue where neutralizing [Exploding Lantern Spirit] would not be counted as killed by player
  • Fixed the issue where explosion effect, caused by the gemini inscription "Plant a spore on the target when hitting enemy and create an explosion when the spore from different weapon meets together", is missing
  • Fixed the issue that if players carry the scroll "Bloody Ammo" and "Advanced Depot", the damage number is missing after dealing damage with Thunderclap Gloves or Laser Gloves

In this update, we have added some occult scrolls and daily challenges, and adjusted the balance of some weapons. In addition, boss skills and AI in different difficulties have also been made a certain difficulty distinction.     Effect: After using shift, a thunderstorm is released, causing damage to enemies and temporarily imprisoning them

    The monsters killed by players will be recorded. When the new items are updated, the item that has met the unlock requirement will be unlocked automatically

Daily Challenge:
  • Added 3 new daily challenges: [Economic "pressure"], [Elemental World] and [Explosive Carnival]
  • Modified 2 additional effects for the daily challenge [Vlad's Dream]:
    Previous: +0.9% Life-steal on Crit Hit
    Now: +1.5% Life-steal on Crit Hit

In this update, the new gameplay mode “Daily Challenge” and the new Vault “Stone Monsters” are arriving.     Short and exciting gameplay mode with randomly refreshed themes every day!
    Unlock: Talent reaches level 35


Weapons
  • New weapons:
    Thunder Storm: Shoot a lightning ray that can penetrate the enemy.
    Weapon Skill: Fire a lightning ball that can be detonated by the lightning ray. It will disable enemy's shield and deal direct damage on hit.
    Exclusive Inscription: +100% radius for weapon skill's lightning ball and +100% DMG for its detonation.
    Unlock: Kill [Elite Bandit Hermit] once.


    Bloody Drill:Hits on enemy will cause bleeding, and the effect is stackable.
    Bleeding: Constantly decrease HP regardless of shield and armor.
    Exclusive Inscription: Hits on bleeding enemy can deal +50% damage.
    Exclusive Inscription: The farther the enemy you hits, the higher the bleeding damage.
    Unlock: Kill [Elite Yaksha] twice.


  • Optimized the experience of using charged weapons during dual-wield.

Occult Scrolls
  • New Occult Scrolls:
    Lone Ranger
    Quality:Rare
    Effect:When there are no monsters around you within 12 meters, +1 layer of status for every 0.5 seconds (up to 20 layers). On the contrary, -1 layer of status for every 0.5 seconds. +1 Lucky shot chance for each layer, and +5% extra Lucky shot chance when you reach 20 layers
    Unlock:Kill [Rogue Henchman] 10 times


    Dormant Bullet
    Quality:Rare
    Effect:The fewer bullets the magazine remains, the higher the weapon damage is, up to 75% increase in weapon damage
    Unlock:Kill [Bandit Retainer] 20 times


  • Occult Scrolls Rework:
    Thunder Screen:Increased elemental effect chance, but lowered the initial damage. Damage is now affected by Shield/Armor, HP and Skill Damage.
    Thorny Carapace:Increased elemental effect chance, but lowered the initial damage. Damage is now affected by Shield/Armor, HP and Skill Damage.
    Field Support:The range of buff is now within 15 meters (up from 12 meters)
    Deadly Counter:Can now be triggered by self-damage (Self-damage caused by "Bloody Ammo" & "Capacity Overdraft" can also trigger this occult scroll.)
    Energy Sandals:Each dash now stores 12 points of energy (up from 5 points). Maximum points of energy increased to 600 points (from 500 points)
    Skill Booster:Store 2 points of energy (up from 1 point) for each crit.
    Snow Boots:Now immune to Slow debuff caused by "Heavy Shield"

    Flame Shard:
    Previous:Gain immunity to Fire DMG for 2s after receiving Fire DMG, but take 50% extra Lightning DMG and Corrosion DMG.
    Now: Fire damage +25%, and immune to the negative effects of burning effect. The additive effect is doubled while in burning effect.

    Corrosion Shard:
    Previous:Gain immunity to Corrosion DMG for 2s after receiving Corrosion DMG, but take 50% extra Fire DMG and Lightning DMG.
    Now:Corrosion damage +25%, and immune to the negative effects of decay effect. The additive effect is doubled while in decay effect.

    Lightning Shard:
    Previous:Gain immunity to Lightning DMG for 2s after receiving Lightning DMG, but take 50% extra Fire DMG and Corrosion DMG.
    Now:Lightning damage +25%, and immune to the negative effects of shock effect. The additive effect is doubled while in shock effect.

Monsters
  • New Elite Monster:Elite Bandit Hermit
    A leader among bandits liked to summon coyotes to attack passing caravans.


  • Boss Balance Changes:Golem
    Reduced damage caused by Golem.
    Reduced total HP of Golem.
    Reduced the number of tracking stones summoned by Golem.
    Reduced damage radius of Golem's fists.
    Increased the interval between Golem's two fists, thus lowered the difficulty of avoiding attack.
    When playing as Qing Yan, melee skills can now deal damage on Golem.

  • Rework [Fiery], [Lightning], and [Corrosive] enhanced monster

    [Fiery]
    A fire ball will be periodically spawned above to attack players. However, players can break it by shooting when it is flying toward them

    [Lightning]
    Deal lightning damage to any players within 15m periodically

    [Corrosive]
    A self-explosive corrosive ball will be periodically spawned above (breakable when spawning), explosion will create an area which can deal persistent corrosive damage to players within 10m

  • New Level:Stone Monster
    Lots of stone monsters show up in the vault.Watch out not to hit them, or they will be awaken and attack you.

In this update, we have updated skill effects of the random boss "Golem", added a team settlement interface, and fixed some bugs.

Due to the adjustment of our development schedule, the update roadmap, which was originally planned to be released this week, will be postponed to mid-December. Sorry for the delay. Gunfire Reborn 10.30 Update Announcement

Hello everyone!
In this update, we have added a random boss named Golem, a weapon named Dual Fang, five occult scrolls, an elite monster and new challenge events.

We will release the update roadmap in November, and inform you of the update plan from EA version to the 1.0 official version. It is certain that new random boss, heroes, stages, and gameplay will be in the plan. We will update the “Daily Challenge” gameplay in the version at the end of next month.

The new boss Golem is still in the testing period, therefore, we need more feedback to determine the next optimization direction. Please give us more time to work on it.

    Rare individuals among Arrogant Lobsters, which can launch continuous attack through their claws

    Continuous shooting after the charge, and the attack alternates between corrosion and fire

  • New Inscriptions:
    1. Dual Fang Exclusive Inscription: During shooting, +40% elemental effect chance for each second (up to 400%, reset after stopping fire)
    2. Goshawk Exclusive Inscription: The bullet will automatically attack enemy's weakness
    3. +20% CritX on Crit Hit (The bonus can stack but will be reset on Normal Hit/Miss)
    4. +5% DMG (up to 100%) for 6s when triggering elemental effect.(The duration time will also be reset for each trigger)
    5. +5% RoF (up to 75%) for 2s whenever triggering Crit Hit
    6. +5% Lucky Shot Chance in 3s whenever hit an enemy(up to 100%). Refresh the duration on hit

    Store 5 points of energy for each Dash, and consume all energy when using secondary skill. +1% skill DMG when consuming each point of energy (max 500 points)


  • Skill Booster
    Quality: Rare
    Unlock: Kill [Desert Worm] 30 times with a Crit.
    Store 1 point of energy for each Crit, and consume all energy when using secondary skill. +1% skill DMG when consuming each point of energy (max 500 points)
