Gunfire Reborn 9.10 Update Announcement

Hello everyone!
In this update, we have added new routes for some stages and fixed some bugs. The next development focus will shift to the new content, including new modes, new heroes, new stages, new weapons, new occult scrolls, etc. This will take lots of time, and the frequency of subsequent updates will be reduced. Please give us more time and stay tuned. We will release a roadmap in the near future.

In addition, some new weapons and occult scrolls have been in internal testing period, and are expected to be included in the update at the end of this month.

Here are the details of this update:

Level
  • Add new routes for Longling-Tomb Stage 1, Anxi Desert Stage 1, and Shoreside Valley

Hero
  • Add a prompt for Ao Bai when dual-wield is not available

Interface UI
  • Optimize the run time of special effects for armor/shield breaking, so Qing Yan will not have frequent armor breaking special effects
  • Optimize the victory/failure animation of Crown Prince and Ao Bai
  • Add a prompt when the soul essence is insufficient for revival
  • Optimize the number rule of “Squad ID”. 「I」「O」「U」will not appear after the update, and spaces will no longer cause misjudgement
  • Optimize the dropped item panel. It is no longer hidden when reloading.
  • Optimize the color of special ammo

Special Effects & Models
  • Optimize the performance of elemental effect, so the special effect of fusion effects like explosion and miasma no longer increases with the size of the monster
  • Optimize the performance of some weapons inscription
    (1)You can aim up to 3 targets when scope is on: Optimize the performance after successfully marking
    (2)50% chance to cause an explosion that deals Corrosion DMG when killing an enemy: the special effect of the explosion has been optimized to make it appear as a corrosive explosion

  • Fix the issue that skill animation may be abnormal if players fire Concealed Ammo and use its secondary skill at the same time
  • Fix the issue that controller will constantly vibrate under certain circumstances

In this update, we have made balance adjustments to some of Qing Yan's ascensions and talents, added the feature to cancel ready before entering the next stage in the team mode, and optimized the interaction mechanism of reviving teammates.

Here are the details of this update:

Hero:
  • Optimize Ao Bai's dual-wielding skill: Turn on/off dual wielding won't interrupt the shot

  • Balance adjustments to some of Qing Yan's ascensions and talents
  • Ascensions Adjustment:
    Fierce Wings: Weapon DMG +50%/100%/150% instead of +30%/60%/120% on next shot after a cleave

    Death mark:Increase the duration of the death mark from 2/3/5 seconds to 4/5/6 seconds

    Max cleave:the first two levels of this ascension additionally increase the number of times to restore cleave after killing enemies
    1. Level 1 Max cleave:New: Cleave will immediately restore 1 use after killing an enemy
    2. Level 2 Max cleave:New:Cleave will immediately restore 2 uses after killing an enemy
    Hail of bullets:weapon DMG for the first few shot after reload increases from 30%/40%/90% to 30%/60%/100%, with additional +20%/30%/40% lucky shot chance

    Elemental Power:elemental effect chance of leap increases from 20% to 50%

    Steel Armor:when leap hits an enemy,the duration of damage taken reduction reduced from 2/3/3 seconds to 2/2/2 seconds

  • Talents Adjustment:
    Level 4 Talent:Cleave Reinforcement changes to Skill Enhancement
    Effect:+300 cleave DMG→+300 leap and cleave DMG

Interface UI:
  • Add the feature to cancel ready before entering the next stage in the team mode:
    Players who are ready to enter the next stage can cancel ready by interacting with the portal again
  • Optimize the interaction mechanism of reviving teammates: after approaching the fallen teammate, you can press F to revive without aiming at the teammate
  • Optimize the interface of weapon upgrade at Craftsman
  • Optimize the animation footage after players get knocked down
  • Optimize performance of ping system in the team mode
  • After canceling the matching, the check box will not be automatically unchecked

Special Effects & Models
  • Optimize the reload performance of Sting
  • Waterfall decoration is added to part of the "Duo Fjord" scene
  • Optimize Crown Prince’s and Ao Bai’s checkout animation

Sound Effects:
  • Fix the issue that when teammates use Talisman, the sound volume is too large
  • Adjust the sound effect of Elite Corrupt Monk's light beam
  • Lower the volume of Heavy Crossbowman's charge
  • Add fuzzy effect for the background music when entering checkout page
  • Adjust the sound effect of Talisman's secondary skill
  • Add voice dialogue when the hero is killed
  • Add the feature to adjust the volume of enviornment sound in the setting
  • Adjust the sound effect of Glimmering's explosion

Level:
  • Lower the attributes of some monsters in Anxi Desert-Stage 1
  • Optimize the entrance location of the vault in Anxi Desert-Stage 1 and Anxi Desert-Stage 3
  • Optimize the number of bottles in some vaults
  • Optimize the spawn location of elite monsters when players trigger elite monster challenge event in Longling Tomb and Duo Fjord
  • Fix the issue that players can't pick up dropped items in some stages of Anxi Desert and Duo Fjord

Other System:
  • Optimize some Japanese texts
  • Fix some Japanese font errors
  • Optimize some French texts

BUG Fixes:
  • Fix the issue that players can't switch weapons after picking up a weapon
  • Fix the issue that the inscription "1s after scope is on, highlight all enemies(including the one behind barriers), and all hits on highlight enemies become Crit Hit" doesn't take effect on some monsters
  • Fix the issue that reloading Goshawk during the charge will cause abnormal reload animation
  • Fix the issue that after players use secondary skill, the mark of Raninbow and Dragonchaser disappears
  • Fix the issue that players sometimes can't reload or shoot when using Concealed Ammo with "Advanced Depot" scroll

  • Fix the issue that Qing Yan's leap may be interrupted abnormally
  • Fix the issue that players sometimes can't use dash
  • Fix the issue that damage buff of Qing Yan's ascension "Fierce Wings" and "Hail of Bullets" only takes effect on some projectiles of multi-projectile weapons
  • Fix the issue that if monster is pushed back on hit, it sometimes faces to abnormal direction

  • Add ping system and short phrases function in team mode:
    In team mode, you can hold hotkey V to reach team signal interface and send short phrases to your teammate, and you can press V to ping any weapons or items. Marked weapons and scrolls can be directly shared to teammates, and you no longer need to pick them up and then discard them
    *Controller players can hold/press UP to send short phrases and ping items.*

  • Change weapon comparison default hotkey from V to Z, and support customized hotkey setting

  • Remove: The ability to drop shell in Dinghai Bay-Final Stage and the hotkey setting "Discard the particular item"

  • Fix: Occult Scroll "Bullet Bank" doesn't take effect

In this update, we have supported the mechanism that the difficulty of the game will be reduced in the next stage based on the remaining number of players if a team member exits the game in team mode. Regarding the issue that the team will be disbanded if the host leaves, we are still working on optimization. We will support the host switch in the future update, so stay tuned.

  • Optimize the length of the stage name displayed in the minimap

    For players who have already met the new requirement, after this update, they only need to kill one Arrogant Lobster with Fire DMG to unlock Demonlore

  • Adjustment over some inscriptions:
    (1)Delete inscription "Projectiles +2, but Ammo Consumption +200%"
    (2)Change inscription "Projectiles +1, Consumption +100%" as Exclusive Inscription

  • NPC chest that players exchange occult scroll won't drop given occult scroll any more
  • Optimize the detail and wording of Korean and German. Fix some notification errors of elite monsters

  • Fix the issue that Golden Bow, Prism and Glimmering can't be reloaded under certain circumstances so players can't fire them
  • Fix the issue that if players throw Concealed Ammo, switching weapons will make the thrown weapon disappeared

Hero:

New Hero: Qing Yan
  • Hero Introduction:
    Unlike Crown Prince and Ao Bai, Qing Yan is a melee hero who uses armor as defense - this means that it does not have a self-recovering shield like Crown Prince or Ao Bai, and you have to hit or kill the enemy in close range to restore the armor. Obviously, this is not a hero that can be easily played, but it is indeed an unique hero.
    So, forget Crown Prince and Ao Bai, and try out this Kungfu Master - Qing Yan

  • Unlock Qing Yan:Level 40

  • Qing Yan's Skills:
    1. Primary Skill(E):Leap
      Qing Yan leaps forward with a hard kick, dealing damage to all enemies within 7m. Each hit can recover armor for Qing Yan


    2. Secondary Skill(Q):Cleave
      Qing Yan cleaves recklessly and deals damage to the enemies within a fan-shape
  • Exclusive Talent:
    1. Continuous Leap: If leap doesn't hit the target, decrease 50% cooldown time
    2. Survival Enhancement:HP+20,Armor+20
    3. Charged Shooting:Restore 1 Armor Point whenever your shot hits the enemy (Up to 6 points per second)
    4. Cleave Reinforcement:Cleave DMG +300
    5. Emergency Defense:When Armor reaches 0, immune to Normal DMG for 2s (The effect can activate again whenever the Armor has been fully charged)
Gameplay Mechanism:
  • Adjust the elite difficulty and some gameplay mechanisms. The recommended entry level for elite difficulty is level 40
  • Open nightmare difficulty. The recommended entry level for nightmare difficulty is level 80
    * Nightmare difficulty is currently in the testing stage. If you encounter issues during the experience or have suggestions, you can use the built-in ESC "feedback" function to contact us. We will optimize the nightmare difficulty in the near future, please give us a little more time.*

Weapon:
  • New Weapon:Sting
    Sting's fire mode will automatically rotate between three-shot, two-shot and single-shot. In single-shot mode, hitting enemies can cause explosion and break the armor of normal enemies


  • New Weapon:Talisman
    Talisman is a weapon that can switch between different elements and auto-lock the weakness of the enemy

Monster:
  • New Monster:Umbrella Spirit
    Demonic Umbrella is a monster who loves to fly at low altitude, and you can hardly detect it in the night of Duo Fjord. Once it attacks you, you will be in a very dangerous circumstance


  • New Elite Monster:Elite Corrupt Monk
    Powerful Monk who can even create its own mirror image with demonic aura and summon perilous Large Lantern Spirit


  • Monster Adjustment: Slightly decrease the damage of Bandit Retainer

  • Air Strike: Kill 5 or more enemies in a single leap for 50 times

Gunfire Reborn 8.14 Update Announcement

Hello everyone!
In this update, we have fixed some bugs and added the way to use Squad ID to join the squad. At present, the development team is fully preparing for the major version update next week, including the third hero, new weapons, new elite monsters, elite difficulty adjustments and a new difficulty. Here are the details of this update:

Interface UI:
  • Optimize the logbook interface, each time it will lead you to the category viewed last time
  • Add a special effect for reminding the remaining monsters on the minimap. When the remaining number of monsters is small, the player will be notified of the approximate location of the monster on the minimap

Other Systems:
  • Add the function of using Squad ID to join the squad, players can search and join the squad with the Squad ID provided by other players

Special Effects & Model:
  • Optimize the birth special effects of elite monsters

Level:
  • Fix the issue that items dropped by monsters are out of the area and can't be picked up in Duo?Fjord-Stage 1 and Duo?Fjord-Stage 3
  • Fix the issue that players can't finish Duo?Fjord-Stage 2 normally
  • Fix the issue that players can't interact at the entrance of the vault in Duo?Fjord-Stage 3
  • Fix the issue that players can't interact with some "Golden Chests" in Duo?Fjord-Stage 2 and Duo?Fjord-Stage 3
  • Fix the issue that players may be stuck somewhere once hit by Elite Beetle in the vault

BUG Fixes:
  • Fix the issue that when teammates use Glimmering, you will see abnormal fire special effects
  • Fix the issue that there are errors for setting "discard the particular item" key of controller
  • Fix the issue that when players pause during switching weapons, there are display errors of UI special effect
  • Fix the issue that there are errors of text layout in Team Information and Weapon interface
  • Fix the issue that there are errors of text layout in "Golden Chest" Give Occult Scroll interface
  • Fix the issue that the sound effect of using Golden?Bow won't disappear
  • Fix the issue that Ichthyosaurus?Offspring may release shock wave in the air

In this update, we have adjusted the balance of some weapons and fixed some bug. The new hero is expected to be updated in the version at the end of this month. There will be new weapons, new elite monsters and other adjustments, so please stay tuned!

Weapon Balance Adjustment:
  • Cavalry
    DMG:112→128
    Reduce the recoil

  • Frenzied Shark
    Explosion radius: 3m→4m
    Increase projectile effective range

  • Pupil
    Reduce the recoil

  • Woodpecker
    Projectile speed:120→180
    Effective range:15m→50m
    Increase projectile effective range

  • Golden Bow
    Maximum projectile speed:80→100
    Remove scattering
    Increase the range of "arrow recovery"

  • Glimmering
    Weapon mechanism:explode upon hitting a barrier → bounce upon hitting a barrier and explode after 0.2 seconds
    Direct DMG ratio on hit:75%→50%
    DMG:180→135
    Explosion radius:4m→3m
    Elemental effect chance:30%→10%

Interface UI:
  • Add a key “discard the particular item” in the setting
  • Optimize some icons in monster logbook
  • Optimize the warning if players are targeted by Bandit Tactician

Other Optimization:
  • Optimize the death feedback of Elite Yaksha, Elite Arsonist and Elite Beetle
  • Optimize the special effect of Elite Yaksha’s left shoulder
  • Optimize the special effect of Rogue Arsonist’s model
  • Optimize the location of some treasure chests in Longling Tomb
  • Optimize the hibox of Elite Arsonist in close range
  • Optimize some description in Japanese
  • Add sound effect for firescale bomb recharge of weapon “Crimson Firescale”

BUG Fixes:
  • Fix the issue that Ichthyosaurus Offspring doesn’t show up in Quicksand Pool-Final Stage
  • Fix the issue that model of killed Elite Yaksha doesn’t disappear
  • Fix the issue that some hitting sound effects are not correctly used
  • Fix the issue that there is an error of compare interface at the peddler
  • Fix the issue that players can’t upgrade the talant after the game
  • Fix the issue that the notification doesn’t disappear
  • Fix the issue of the repetitive instruction pop-up window
  • Fix the issue that there is no special effect when Longbowman’s arrow hits the wall

Gunfire Reborn 7.30 Update Announcement

Hello everyone!

In this update, we have added 2 new weapons, 5 new Occult Scrolls, 3 new elite monsters, and updated some main-line levels and Vault. We are appreciative if you can give us some feedback and suggestions so that we can continue the optimization.

The third hero is already in the internal testing phase and is expected to be available soon. In addition, the design of New Game Plus is currently under preparation. Please give us more time to develop it. Thank you for your support.

Here are the details of this update:

New Content:
  • Weapon:
    Crimson Firescale:Recharges a firescale bomb on Crit Hit. Weapon Skill: Costs 5 firescale bombs to project multiple fireballs that explode to deal Fire damage when hitting the enemy


    Glimmering:Stuck in the enemy on hit and explodes afterwhile

  • Occult Scroll:
    Coins of Life:Won't die when taking lethal damage. Costs 100% copper coins to be immune to current damage and all incoming damage for the next 3 seconds. Scroll is destroyed once the effect is triggered


    Thunder Screen:Deals 400 Lightning DMG to surrounding enemies within 10 meters when the shield is broken


    Fish or Bear Paw:Weapon DMG -50%, but each attack deals the damage twice


    Long Shot:Increase weapon DMG when hitting the enemy away from you. The further they are, the larger the bonus (up to 100%)


    Decay Driver:+20% movement speed for 3s when hitting enemy under decay effect

  • Elite Monster:
    Elite Beetle - Aberrations among Horned Beetle, whose mutations enable them to absorb even more evil energy to become humongous and resilient


    Elite Arsonist - Elite outlaws who love poison more than flames. Their larger frames haven't diminished their nimbleness one bit


    Elite Yaksha - Elite Yakshas, leading various Yaksha of the seas as patrol commanders

  • Level:
    Add new line in Longling Tomb


    Add new line in Anxi Desert


    Add new line in Duo Fjord

Interface UI:
  • Optimize NPC chest so players can’t choose the option that doesn’t take effect

Special Effects & Model:
  • Accelerate the dissipation of Smoke Grenade’s special effect

Sound Effects:
  • Replace the background music of Anxi Desert, and optimize the transition between in combat and out of combat
  • Optimize the sound effect of Heavy Crossbowman and Ichthyosaurus Offspring
  • Optimize the background music play of Duo Fjord

Monster AI:
  • Optimize the fire damage range of Rogue Arsonist, so damage range now matches with the fire special effect range

Balance Adjustment:
  • Decrease the damage of Miasma Fusion effect on Elite monsters

Bug Fixes:
  • Fix the issue that there is an error of copper description at the Peddler
  • Fix the issue that some Challenge Events will be displayed in Chinese
  • Fix the issue that players being knocked down in the air can’t be revived by their teammates
  • Fix the issue that the game will be stuck once players choose the ascension
  • Fix the issue that if a teammate leaves the game, players still need to wait for his/her approval to enter the next stage
  • Fix the issue that fire mode of Angelic Aura after switching isn’t correct
  • Fix the issue that during the animation which Yoruhime-Maru changes its phase, the weapon keeps firing
