The details for this update are as follows: Brand-new content! I. Brand new mode: Showdown (Trial) In the Showdown: Eventide Temple Chapter, Viper Ning, Kurumi, Tarka Ji and Valda Cui will face one of Omnius' incarnations, who is the leader of the Heralds. Showdown will be open during the following periods: Date: August 5th - 7th, August 12th - 14th, August 19th – 21st The Common, Hard and Nightscream stages will be open from August 5th. Time: NA Server 20:00-6:00 (UTC); EU Server 13:00-23:00 (UTC); EAS & AS Servers 7:00-17:00 (UTC) 1.Hard Stage: More monsters have stronger attack power, health and moves. The Omnius’ form and Attack moves will be totally new. 2.Nightscream Stage: Monsters with diverse moves will swarm with more oppressive attack power and health. Omnius’ attack moves become more challenging. 3.Legend Stage: This will be available along with the Racing Leaderboard on August 12th. Monsters with more varied attack methods drown the heroes with desperate attack power and health. Omnius, with new moves, will also become more overwhelming. His continuous attacks will make the heroes have no time to breathe.
II. Through the Fire Now Through the Fire is added to the Custom Room.
III. Takeda Nobutada’s new skill [Mythic Grab·Takedown] and new ultimate [Demonic Aid·Engulf] are available now 1.[Mythic Grab·Takedown] Takeda Nobutada charges forward, slamming the first enemy with a blue Focus strike or skill (whether the enemy is attacking or not) to the ground, and grabbing the enemy's weapon. He will gain a great damage reduction effect during the use of the skill. This will not block blue Focus damage. Cannot be used while under attack. 2.[Demonic Aid·Engulf] Takeda unleashes the seal of the demonic spirit inside, Furen, instantly knocking back nearby enemies a short distance. Furen will enhance itself by [Demonic Force], meanwhile the skill will turn into [Demonic Strike·Havoc], lasting for 30 sec. [Demonic Strike·Havoc]: Furen launches an attack upon enemies standing ahead Takeda. Takeda can use [Demonic Strike·Havoc] 3 times, after which Furen will be sealed again. Takeda will recover a large amount of Health and Armor after [Demonic Strike·Havoc] causes damage. [Demonic Force] will be upgraded when Takeda grabs weapons or allies obtain weapons. The upgraded [Demonic Force] will be deducted after the weapon drops. When Furen's [Demonic Force] turns purple, [Demonic Strike·Havoc] can be launched 4 times. When Furen's [Demonic Force] turns golden, [Demonic Strike·Havoc] will be even more powerful. [Demonic Strike] can be used when Takeda is under attack or controlled and does not interrupt Takeda's own movements.
IV. Brand New Event: Cure the World Event Time: 08/04/2022 update – 08/18/2022 20:00 UTC Event Rules: 1. By completing Daily Quests, players can obtain Puzzle Shard of Ziping Yin and have additional chance to obtain any one of Tae, Spectral Silk, Legendary Outfit and Legendary Ornament at random. 2. The Puzzle has 16 pieces and four Sections, which can be unlocked with the use of random Puzzle Shards. Alternatively, a specific region can be unlocked with the corresponding Puzzle Shards. 3. You can claim rewards by unlocking any of the four Sections. Some rewards will be available after the new version is released, so stay tuned. 4. Each day, you can help a player obtain a Puzzle Shard (by tapping the contact list, selecting a "Puzzle Shard of Ziping”, and confirming to share it). You won't consume your Puzzle Shards by doing so. However, each player will be given just one Puzzle Shard per day. 5. You can still claim unlocked rewards on the event page and unlock Puzzle Shards to obtain rewards anytime within the remaining time to claim rewards after the end of the event. But you can no longer complete Quests or send Puzzle Shards during that period. You can get 160 Tae for each Puzzle Shard destroyed at the Inventory after the end of the time period available to claim rewards (i.e., upon the expiration of the item).
V. Brand New Event: Eventide Fire Event Time: 08/04/2022 20:00 UTC – 08/22/2022 20:00 UTC Event Rules: 1. Complete Daily Quests to obtain Bounty Emblems and Fiery Ents. The latter can be used to redeem limited-edition rewards! 2. Bounty Emblems can be used to refresh bounty quests randomly. Complete bounty quests to obtain lots of rewards, including Legendary Ornaments. 3. Bounty quests are the same for all players. Completed quests won't be refreshed. Note: Event quests can be refreshed only when the Showdown mode is open. At other times, players could only redeem rewards.
VI.The new map Holoroth will be released soon, and the shadow of Plumed Castle will appear in the preparation phase of all Survival modes, The Bloodbath and Shadow Surge.
Hero Adjustments I. Kurumi 1. When affected by other elements, Kurumi's ultimates [Sacred Circle] and [Sacred Circle: Armor Enhance] will produce different extra effects besides healing according to different elements, and continue the remaining time of the healing circle. The damage and healing effects, etc., inflicted by the adjusted circle still come from Kurumi. The extra effects of Kurumi's healing circle when affected by different elements are as follows: - Fire circle: Enemies in the circle will lose health continuously, and their healing will be reduced by 50%. Therefore, we made the basic healing effect to teammates of the circle unchanged even though it's affected by different elements, and added extra effects to create uniqueness according to different elements.

In-game Adjustments I. Matchmaking Optimization 1. Adjusted the max number of players in the solo mode of The Herald's Trial, Quick Match and Bot Mode from 60 to 48. //Dev Note: The added Rebirths changed the combat tempo of the match. We reduced the max number of players to align combat tempo with the design expectation.
II. Through the Fire 1. Increased the height of the island from the sea level in Through the Fire properly. Now players can use Grappling Hook to get on the island before falling into the sea. The error-tolerant rate was improved. 2. [Uppercut Slash·Pendulum] and [Lethal Descent·Pendulum]: The attack range was increased and now they can cause a strong knockback effect to Almighty General and Vajra (not working for the Vajra when it launches a vertical strike). 3. Optimized the sound effect of [Uppercut Slash·Pendulum].
4. Enhanced the knockback effect of the pendulum to Vajra and Almighty General. 5. Equipment and items in Exquisite Vessel will upgrade as time goes by. 6. Reduced the default Grappling Hooks in the Bag from 18 to 3. More Grappling Hooks will spawn from the Exquisite Vessel.
Ⅲ. Omni's Nightmare 1. Evil-Ents can destroy Soul Lanterns to get more EXP, which will be shared proportionately among all Evil-Ents. 2. Fixed an issue where Evil-Ent’s level icon in the front of the health bar could be seen in the preparation phase. 3. Decreased Evil-Ents’ base Ranged Resist from 35% to 20%. 4. Fixed the issue where the stiff could be abnormal while Evil-Ents attack downed enemies.
IV. Combat Quick Counter: Now the Quick Counter used while charging after a combo has the same speed as the manual counter.
V. In-game Gestures Renamed the gesture [Pray] to [Salute] with the effect unchanged.
VI. Quests Renamed the quest [Pray] to [Salute].
Out-game Adjustments I. Team-up Lobby Optimization 1. Now recruitment is supported in all team-up modes. 2. Added a new feature that can filter players according to the rank of the recruiter. 3. Adjusted the level required to unlock the feature to 5.

The New Casual Mode [Through the Fire] Rules: 1.Two Exclusive Souljades ([Uppercut Slash·Pendulum] and [Lethal Descent·Pendulum]) will appear in this mode. And all the Souljades and Dark Tide Coins you obtained will not be dropped again. 1)[Uppercut Slash·Pendulum]: Enhances Katana, Spear and Dual Blades' Uppercut Slash. 2)[Lethal Descent·Pendulum]: Use the crouch button while jumping or free-falling to land quickly and knock nearby enemies airborne. Ⅱ. The New Event [Sunwing Solstice·Mutation] Event Time: 07/20/2022 20:00 (UTC) – 08/03/2022 20:00 (UTC) Event Rules: 1. Gain [Plumes·Scarlet] and a certain amount of [Event Points] by completing quests during the event. 2. During match preparation stages, players must gather their efforts to activate the altar upon the center of Origin Island. Having done so, they'll receive [Plumes·Scarlet] upon opening gold or green Troves. Up to 10 [Plumes·Scarlet] can be obtained from each match, and total of 10 can be obtained per day (this excludes those from Omni's Nightmare and Bloodsport). 3. Submit [Plumes·Scarlet] to gain event points. Clicking the Submit button will submit all your [Plumes·Scarlet], granting you 10 points for each one. 4. You'll also receive a [Summer Solstice Gift] for every 20 [Plumes·Scarlet] submitted. 5. You gain certain rewards once you've gained enough event points, with 2,300 needed to gain them all. 6. Every [Plumes·Scarlet] submitted increases the Total Points figure by 1, and once it reaches its maximum, all players will be rewarded 1 [Fortune Treasure]. *Note: Remember to claim your rewards before the event ends, or you'll miss out.

Hero Adjustments I. Takeda Nobutada 1. Takeda’s new skill [Mythic Grab·Takedown] and new ultimate [Demonic Aid·Engulf] will not be included in the update this time. According to the feedback from players in the Test Server, Takeda’s new skill and ultimate did not meet expectations. Thus, we decided to readjust and they will be available in the next update. We appreciate all the feedback from players and look forward to more of your suggestions. 2. Optimized the problem that Takeda would pull the target to his side while grabbing the weapon. Now Takeda will rush to the target. 3. Optimized the problem that the crosshair of Takeda Nobutada's [Demonic Aid: Teleport] would be blocked when he backs against occluded objects, which restricted the normal aim range. 4. Optimized the descriptions of Takeda Nobutada's skills and ultimates.
Ⅱ. Matari 1. Optimized the special effect of [Backstab]'s special attacks when casting [Unseen Wings]. 2. Optimized [Backstab]'s locking range. Now enemies near the screen edge won't be locked. 3. Increased the Max Rage required for casting the ultimate [Unseen Wings] and all its variations by 25%, which is the same as the Max Rage of most heroes.
Souljade Adjustments Ⅰ. Dual Blades Souljades 1. Added [Dual Blades Sap]: The last move of a Counterstrike Combo restores 75% of the damage dealt as health or armor. 2. [Universe Slash]: Optimized the motions of fingers. 3. [Universe Slash]: Adjusted the Damage Multiplier of each stage from 3.89 to 3.48.
In-game Adjustments Ⅰ. Feature Optimizations 1. In-game Quest Optimization: Icons of quest location were added to the descriptions of Cache Hunt, Prayer and Blessings quests, and descriptions of Quest Scrolls. 2. Added a mechanism to dynamically adjust the frequency of Rattans’ refreshing around the Soul Lanterns according to the situation on the field, and reflected it on the icon of Soul Lanterns. 4. Adjusted the negative effects on Heroes who extinguish the Soul Spark. Their ultimates will be banned for 10s, and a random debuff (skill banning, Grappling Hook banning and Blind) will be imposed on them. 5. After extinguishing the Soul Spark, Evil-Ent Lords will increase Attack by 20%, Melee Resistance by 25% and Ranged Resistance by 35%, lasting for 20s. 6. Reduced the protection time of Soul Spark to 50s. 7. Now all Souljades will be retained after Heroes' rebirth. 8. Evil-Ents now can counter. 9. Increased Evil-Ents' Ranged Resistance by 35% and doubled their tree climbing speed. 10. Now you can adjust the voice volume of the faction.
Ⅳ. Solo Mode Adjustments 1. In all Solo modes (The Herald's Trial, Bot Mode and Quick Match): 1) Players can get one Rebirth now. 2) The first spread of the Shadow Corruption was delayed for 60s. 3) The appearance time of Morus' Blessing has also been adjusted according to the delay of the Shadow Corruption spread.
Out-game Adjustments Ⅰ. Out-game Voice 1. Now players can voice chat with teammates in the Lobby when teaming up. 2. Two chat modes are supported: Open Mic and Tap To Speak. 3. Now players can mute their teammates.
Ⅱ. Talent-Glyph Value Adjustments 1. Reduced the bonus of Talents related to Energy Cap, Energy Restoring Speed, Dodge Energy Consumption/Dagger Dash Energy consumption by 33%. (The reduction was added to players' basic buffs to ensure the performance remains consistent after the adjustment when Energy Glyphs are fully equipped.) 2. Party's Shared Rift Dealer Discount replaced the former buff of Rift Dealer Discount. To be specific: 1) Now players could provide discounts to both themselves and teammates. Party's Shared Rift Dealer Discount from different teammates could be stacked. 2) The additional discount was reduced to 50% of the original. 3) Party's Shared Rift Dealer Discount and discounts provided by in-game mechanisms (such as the global effect from statues in Stashes) can be multiplied.

Optimized the performance consumption of the special effects of Cairns and pickable objects to improve their recognizability at different angles with slight changes in cosmetics.
Ⅱ. In-match 1. Optimized the attack while falling from a platform with a height of 1.3m and below, which will connect ground attacks instead of airborne attacks. 2. Optimized button tips in the matches. Now different tips will be displayed according to the melee or ranged weapons you hold. Button tips were added to Training Ground too.

Brand-new weapon: Dual Blades Autumn flows on like surging waves, as warriors slice through foes like willow leaves dancing upon water. The new weapon Dual Blades will be available. II. Omni's Nightmare is back once again. 1. Choose your Faction You can choose your preferred Faction before each match, influencing who is assigned to each side. 2. In-game Content 1) Spirit Echoes: Heroes can now gain up to two passive buffs in the form of Spirit Echoes. These include 'Golden Rattan', 'Light's Rage', 'Lethal Armor', 'Copper Ward', 'Explosive Shot' and 'Beckon'. Evil-Ents may choose two from 'Hook Axe', 'Enrage', 'Split Axe', 'Eagle Vision', 'Miasma Rattan' and 'Eternal' to replace their default skills, ultimates or moves. (Check the Narakapedia for details.) 2) Check Faction info for the current match and allocate your Spirit Echoes during preparation. 3) Rattan is found around the map, but only grows near Soul Lanterns. Evil-Ents can damage Soul Lanterns to remove the Rattan, yet heroes can repair the Soul Lanterns in turn, allowing Rattan to respawn once more. Once all Rattan near Soul Lanterns have been taken, some respawn every 4 sec (or immediately when a Soul Lantern is repaired) until the respawn cap is reached. 4) Heroes now have gold Focus during the last second they submit Rattan. 5) Soul Lanterns can be repaired by multiple players at once, speeding up their repairs. 6) Ballista spawn at random spots along the tracks. Heroes must spend 10,000 Dark Tide Coins to unlock them before they can be used, however. 7) Once the match has been underway for a set time, heroes will no longer be able to Rebirth. However, Evil-Ents will also drop more Rattan when defeated. 8) The 'Nearby chat' voice channel has now been replaced with 'Faction chat'. Team chat has been added for those players who join the match as a party. And once the Solstice Altar was activated, Plumes were found scattered across Morus Isle. The people came to realize that, once taken to Sunwing's Rest, these Plumes were absorbed into the air around them. Not only that, however. Sunwing's Rest itself began to change slowly as it absorbed them... Event Time: 06/28/2022 20: 00 (UTC) – 07/13/2022 20: 00 (UTC) Event Rules: 1. Gain [Plumes] and [Event Points] by completing quests during the event. 2. During match preparation stages, players must gather their efforts to activate the altar upon the center of Origin Island. Having done so, they'll receive [Plumes] upon opening gold or green Troves. Up to 10 [Plumes] can be obtained from matches per day (this excludes those from Omni's Nightmare and Bloodsport). 3. Submit Plumes to gain event points. You gain 10 points for each. 4. A [Summer Solstice Gift] is awarded for every 20 [Plumes] submitted. 5. Event rewards are granted once players reach a set score total. The point maximum is 3,000, granting all event rewards once reached. 6. Every [Plume] submitted increases the Total Points figure by 1, and once it reaches its maximum, all players will be rewarded 1 [Fortune Treasure]. *Note: Remember to claim your rewards before the event ends, or you'll miss out.

Hero Adjustments //Dev Note: In the month-and-a-bit since the Ordeal season began, we've been hard at work analyzing NARAKA's ever-growing game data. We've also received loads of great player feedback—thanks again for your continued support! Our analysis showed us that the hero skills and ultimates are dealing more damage in battle than we'd anticipated, meaning combat would often be over in a flash. We don't want teams wiped out just because a player unleashed their skill/ultimate at an inopportune time. Yet simultaneously, we don't want players' hard work and advantages to be for nothing just because we've changed up a strategy. With this in mind, we've adjusted skill and ultimate damage for most heroes. We hope this will serve to improve the strategic environment in-game, and also that it'll give rise to new and exciting lineups and battle strategies too.
Ⅰ. Yoto Hime 1. Adjusted her ultimate [Ominous Blade] and all its variations. The basic Damage Multiplier of its slashes was reduced from 4.5 to 2.6 for the 1st slash, 3.2 for the 2nd slash, and 3.8 for the 3rd slash. 2. Adjusted extra slashes of her ultimate [Ominous Blade: Combo]. The Damage Multiplier was reduced from 2.25 to 1.6. //Dev Note: After recent adjustments to the mechanism of Yoto Hime's ultimate, the hit rate of its slashes has been improved. To balance the Hero, we adjusted the Damage Multiplier slightly.
Ⅱ. Matari 1. Increased the single moving distance of her Skill [Silent Flutter: Rapid Flash] from 6m to 9m. 2. Added a new mechanism to her ultimate [Unseen Wings] and all its Talents. Now when Matari is in stealth, [Silent Flutter]'s CD will be reduced and the moving distance will be increased and be with the [Backstab] status. [Backstab]: An enemy within the range of [Silent Flutter] in front of Matari will be locked. When the enemy is locked, Matari can use [Silent Flutter] to teleport to the target's back and launch a special attack. 3. Reduced max rage needed to cast her ultimate [Unseen Wings] and all its variations by 20%. //Dev Note: Before these adjustments, Matari's ultimate [Unseen Wings] could increase her fighting capacity in open battles only to a limited extent without effective deterrence. Therefore, we added the [Backstab] mechanism to improve her offensive capability and give her a competitive edge after casting the ultimate.
III. Takeda Nobutada 1. [Demonic Strike]’s base Damage Multiplier during [Demonic Aid] has been reduced from 0.5*2 to 0.4*2, and [Airborne Strike] base Damage Multiplier reduced from 1*2 + 1.5 to 0.5*2 + 1.5. 2. Ultimate: [Demonic Aid: Teleport] 1) [Demonic Aid: Teleport] attacks no longer grant the user Rage. 2) [Demonic Aid: Teleport] base Damage Multiplier has been reduced from 1.5 + 0.5*6 + 3 to 1 + 0.3*6 + 2.2. 3) [Demonic Aid: Teleport] attacks now restore the attacker's health by 30% of the damage dealt.
IV. Tianhai 1. Tianhai's ultimate [Titan's Call] and all its variations' base Damage Multiplier have been changed. 1) Skills' base Damage Multiplier (when Tianhai hasn't grabbed an enemy) has been reduced from 4.28 to 3.75. 2) Skills' base Damage Multiplier (when Tianhai's got a single enemy in his grasp) has been reduced from 4.28 to 3.75. 3) Skills' base Damage Multiplier (when Tianhai's got two enemies in his grasp) has been reduced from 12.5 to 10. 2. Tianhai's ultimate [Titan's Call] and all its variations’ base Health and Armor Conversion Multiplier have been changed. 1) In Solos, Tianhai's base Health while in Vajra form has been increased from 1,900 to 2,300 and his Armor Conversion Multiplier from 0.6 to 0.8. 2) In Duos, Tianhai's Armor Conversion Multiplier while in Vajra form has been increased from 0.8 to 0.9.
V. Yueshan Yueshan's ultimate [Troop Decimation] and all its variations' base Damage Multiplier have been changed. 1. [Leaping Slash] 's base Damage Multiplier has been reduced from 0.34 + 1.66 * 2 to 0.26 + 1.29 * 2. 2. [Dragontail] 's base Damage Multiplier has been reduced from 7.34 to 6.52.
VI. Valda Cui The Damage Multiplier of Valda Cui’s water spears in her ultimate [Nether Nightmare] has been reduced from 1.5 + 3.2 to 1.2 + 2.5.
VII. Tarka Ji 1. The Burn damage inflicted by Tarka Ji's skills and ultimate has been reduced from 4% to 2% of the enemy's Health per second. Burn duration remains the same. 2. Tarka Ji now expends 9% instead of 7% Rage to cast [Inner Fire: Gigaflame] while [Blackout: Vulcan] is in effect.
VIII. Justina Gu 1. [Shadowswipe] 's base Damage Multiplier has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.1. 2. [Shadowswipe·Blizzard] 's base Damage Multiplier has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.1. 3. [Arctic Wraith·Frostwind] 's sword energy base Damage Multiplier has been reduced from 1 to 0.1. 4. Enemies frozen by any [Arctic Wraith] and all its variations are now frozen for 1.6 sec instead of 2 sec.
Weapon Adjustments Ⅰ. Nunchucks 1. Changed the Biding Fury consumed by Horizontal Block from one stack to two stacks. 2. Reduced the damage reduction ratio while triggering Horizontal Block from 80% to 50%. 3. You now can get into the golden Focus after the second strike of Dragon Flurry.
Ⅱ. Unarmed Slightly reduced the stagger time caused by airborne vertical strikes to enemies falling down while in unarmed status.
Souljade Adjustments Ⅰ. Dual Blades Souljades 1. Added a new Souljade [Universe Slash], which changes the second stage of charged vertical strikes. 2. Added a new Souljade [Cavalry Bloom], which changes charged horizontal strikes. 3. Added a new Souljade [Splitter], which changes the third stage of horizontal strikes.
Ⅱ. Dagger Souljades The first stage of Dagger Skill [Pride's Fall]'s attack will break the [Freeze] status of enemies being hit.
Ⅲ. Nunchucks Souljades Reduced the Damage Multiplier of Skill [Dragon Roar]: Reduced the Damage Multiplier of the first stage of its attack from 0.57*8 to 0.5*8; Reduced the Damage Multiplier of the second stage of its attack from 0.38*6 to 0.33*6; Reduced the Damage Multiplier of the third stage of its attack from 0.75+1.51 to 0.67+1.33.

In-game Adjustments I. Controller Adjustments 1. Optimized the deadzone of the view while using joystick. Adjusted the default value to 16. Settings beyond this value will not be affected. 2. Optimized the experience of Ballista's [Aim] and [Shoot], which is now consistent with the operations of ranged weapons' [Aim with Scope] and [Shoot]. 3. Feature Optimization Ⅰ. Client Optimization 1. Fixed the problem where players cannot select the spawn points or pick up items at the beginning of each match caused by slow resources loading in certain scenes. 2. Optimized the loading speed of characters' faces and hair in certain scenes. 3. Optimized the lagging caused by excessive loading of UI components in certain cases. 4. Optimized and reduced the loading data when launching the game for the first time, so that the game can start faster. 5. Due to the shader warmup's incompatibility with certain scenes, the feature will be turned off temporarily for further development and optimization. Hero Adjustments I. Justina Gu 1. Justina Gu no longer gains rage when ice fog is active after casting ultimate [Arctic Wraith·Frostwind]. //Dev Note: Justina Gu casts [Arctic Wraith·Frostwind] more frequently than expected during a long-lasting battle, so we have limited her rage gains within some time after casting the ultimate. 2. Adjusted the initial skill [Ice Core]. It no longer negates physical strikes during the startup frames (0-1s), but Justina Gu gains a 70% damage reduction. After the startup frames, Justina Gu's physical immunity will resume. Other features of [Ice Core], such as active interruption, focus, restoration, etc., have not been adjusted. //Dev Note: [Ice Core] used to have restoration capability and 5-sec physical immunity—way too overwhelming than the other two skills. The long duration of immunity can leave the opponent in an awkward predicament. Therefore, we have shortened the duration and granted damage reduction to Justina Gu to improve the combat experience for both parties.
II. Yueshan 1. Slightly adjusted Yueshan's startup frames (increased from 0.7s to 1.1s) when casting the ultimate. //Dev Note: Even with extremely low remaining HP after taking heavy damage, Yueshan may still cast the ultimate, perform the transformation, and fully restore HP, which can be quite frustrating for the opponent. Also, Yueshan's transformation startup frames are way shorter than Tianhai's. As a result, we have increased Yueshan's transformation startup frames by 0.4s.
III. Wuchen 1. Adjusted the Focus level during the charging stage from golden to blue for [Spirit Blades] and [Spirit Blades·Shield]. //Dev Note: The maximum charging time of Wuchen's skills is relatively long. With golden focus, Wuchen can gain a huge advantage. Therefore, we adjusted the focus level to clarify these skills' roles. 2. Reduced Wuchen and allies' damage reduction from 90% to 70% when Wuchen uses ultimate [Tai Chi Rift] to teleport allies. 3. Increased the required rage limit by 25% (to be the same as most heroes) for unleashing ultimates [Tai Chi Rift] and [Tai Chi Rift·Switch]. //Dev Note: After casting [Tai Chi Rift], Wuchen recovers its rage a bit too fast. Therefore, we have raised the rage limit to slightly slow down his ultimate’s pace.
IV. Tianhai 1. Adjusted the counter rage of [The Divine Bell: Counter] from 0-0.7s to 0-1s. In another word, Tianhai can now counter during the whole process of casting [The Divine Bell: Counter]. A successful counter can be immediately followed by a Counterstrike Combo. 2. Tianhai can now cancel the Divine Bell by dodging, jumping, or crouching within 0.4s after casting [The Divine Bell: Counter] and [The Divine Bell: Blast]. And the clash stagger time has been extended from 0.8s to 1.1s. 3. [The Divine Bell: Blast] can now knock away enemies that are using a golden focus (weapon moves).
V. Viper Ning 1. Ultimate [Twilight Crimson: Unchained]'s ending strike can no longer be negated by dodging.
VI. Takeda 1. Increased the range of the first hit after the grab in [Mythic Grab] and [Mythic Grab·Defend] slightly, and they can now interrupt enemies in blue Focus. 2. [Mythic Grab] and [Mythic Grab·Defend] are no longer interruptable by weapon moves while Wuchen is grabbing a blade. Also, Takeda can perform assault moves more conveniently now after a grab. 3. More Reputation Scores will be deducted if players quit the current match when it's about to begin in 30 sec or less during the preparation phase of The Herald's Trial and quick match's Duos and Trios. 2. During the preparation phase of any match mode except Bloodsport, players can gain event item Spades by smashing the boxes scattered in the scene within the time limit. All Gear Treasures and Souljade Treasures contain Spades. Each player can gain up to 5 Spades in every match and 10 Spades per day. 2. The [Shadowjade Mine Exploration] page in Event Center is the map of Shadowjade Mine. Spades can be used to unlock random sites on the map. 3. The map is divided into 7 areas, in which there are altogether 39 sites waiting to be unlocked. Players will receive corresponding event rewards after unlocking all sites in an area. 4. Now it can give all allies a stealth effect, with the duration reduced from 15 sec to 14 sec. Besides, it now provides 50% Scale Rush buildup to all allies. 6. Changed her ultimate [Unseen Wings: Group Stealth] into [Unseen Wings: Smite]. Match Adjustments I. Omni's Nightmare 1. The Evil-Ent Lord and Evil-Ent leveling system has been overhauled. Evil-Ent Lords and Evil-Ents now gain single-match EXP upon defeating enemies or extinguishing Soul Sparks, while granting other Evil-Ent Lords and Evil-Ents a certain amount of shareable EXP too. Gaining EXP levels them up and increases their max health, Attack buff (percentile) and Embers damage resistance. 2. Added random match-wide effects that trigger when lighting Soul Sparks: ① Two extra Morus' Blessings. ② 60-second Rift Dealer discounts. ③ 60-second Rage build boosts. 3. All enemy players must be defeated and have no Rebirths remaining in order for it to end. The number of players currently in Rebirth status is shown in the top-left corner.
V. Mechanics Increased the max number of Forbidden Seals that can appear in a match.
VI. Controllers 1. Optimized Bag slot selection. Now, the right stick can be used to select Bag slots. 2. You now move the map cursor with the right stick, instead of the left stick. Also improved cursor movement and zooming out. 3. You can now delete map markers by tapping Y on an Xbox controller or △ on a Playstation controller.
VII. Movements Optimized the movements when falling and rolling from a height, as well as those when sprinting after Sprint Dodge's second stage.

II. Weapon-related Bugs Fixed an issue where sword energy would sometimes fail to stagger enemies.

Brand-new content! I. New Hero: Winter's Grace - Justina Gu Born of high standing, she's spent the better half of her life on the run. Noble princess of the empire; leader of the Pluvial Pavilion; an assassin with a heart colder than her blade. Justina Gu cares not for these titles. All she cares for is revenge, and finding her mother once more. (Justina Gu's third skill variant and ultimate are not open in current version. In the upcoming updates, players will be able to unlock them through completing Cultivation quests.)
II. New Mode: Omni's Nightmare Description: Faction Versus Mode; Asymmetric Survival Mode. Players: 30 Matchmaking: Players can enter the match through Solo, Duo or Trios, but will be assigned to a random faction and play individually upon starting Omni's Nightmare (in the future versions, the mode will also be available in Custom Lobby).
Basic Rules: 1. Each Hero can revive one time. Evil-Ent Lords will revive as Evil-Ents after being defeated. Evil-Ents are able to respawn without limit. 2. Heroes steadily lose Health while in the Shadow Corruption, but recover Health while in the Embers or Soul Lantern areas. Evil-Ents lose lots of Health while within the Embers. 3. Heroes have to submit Rattans to Soul Sparks until they're lit. After this, they start counting down until they go out. In the meanwhile, the Heroes are strengthened by varying amounts. 4. Each time when the Soul Spark is lit or the Evil-Ent Lord is defeated, the match duration will be extended. 5. Heroes receive varying amounts of Dark Tide Coins upon submitting Rattans or defeating Evil-Ents/Evil-Ent Lords. Dark Tide Coins can be used to buy equipment and items from Rift Dealers. 6. Soul Sparks can be extinguished by Evil-Ent Lords. Once being extinguished, Soul Sparks will enter a protection period during which they cannot be extinguished again. 7. While there are still Evil-Ent Lords left alive, Heroes can attack each other. There will be a penalty for defeating a hero by mistake. Once all Evil-Ent Lords have been eliminated, the remaining Heroes are considered of the same faction. 8. If the total Soul Spark progress amounts to 240% or more (300% counting as full completion), it will enter overtime when the countdown ends. During the overtime, the countdown will stop when Heroes submit Rattans and the duration will be largely increased when the submission succeeds.
How to Win: Heroes: Light 3 Soul Sparks./Have no Evil-Ents left alive on the battlefield. Evil-Ents: When the countdown ends, not all Soul Sparks are lit./Have no Heroes left alive on the battlefield.
Factions Info: You're automatically assigned into either the Evil-Ents, Evil-Ent Lords or Heroes: ·Heroes: 1. Heroes who have picked up fake Rattan will be bound. However, Heroes are also able to free other bound Heroes. 2. Heroes can place and cancel marks on each other, identifying the target as suspicious (double-tap a Hero to target them, and double-tap an empty space to cancel). Heroes' vulnerability increases as the number of marks placed on them rises. These markers will be reset when a hero is defeated by mistake or an Evil-Ent Lord is defeated. There will be a penalty for defeating a hero by mistake. ·Evil-Ents: 1. Rattans will drop when Evil-Ents are defeated. 2. Evil-Ents can see Evil-Ent Lords' icons and their messages. 3. Evil-Ents increase their level by defeating Heroes. Evil-Ents of higher levels gain a greater resistance against the Embers (up to Lv. 5). Skill: They can enter Stealth for brief periods, becoming visible again when launching attacks. Ultimate: Planting fake Rattans. ·Evil-Ent Lords: 1. Rattans will drop after Evil-Ent Lords are defeated. 2. Evil-Ent Lords are visible to one another, and their markers are visible to all Evil-Ents. 3. While disguised as Heroes, Evil-Ent Lords can submit Rattans to extinguish Soul Sparks and nullify nearby Embers, so that the Rattans cannot be submitted to Soul Sparks then. Skill in the Hero form: Same as the Heroes’ skill. Ultimate in the Hero form: Transform to an Evil-Ent (Evil-Ent Lords' ultimate in the Hero form will take effects after 120 sec. And before that time, Evil-Ent Lords can use their ultimate manually at any time.). Skill in the Evil-Ent form: Same as the Evil-Ents’ skill. Ultimate in the Evil-Ent form: Disguise as a Hero.
Chat: Evil-Ents and Heroes may only communicate with nearby members of their faction, while Evil-Ent Lords can hear and be heard by all. (while 'Always-on mic' is enabled).
New Rift Dealer Items: 1. Firefly: Takes effect once bought. Grants a large Rage boost in a short period of time. 2. Pain Relief: Takes effect once bought. Resist damage for 30 sec, but will lose 200 health once the effects ends.
III. Limited-time event: Night of Snow Event time: 03/12/2022 update – 03/20/2022 20:00 (UTC) Rewards claimable until 03/25/2022 20:00 (UTC). Event Rules: Gain [Swan Feathers] by completing quests during the event. [Swan Feathers] can be redeemed for great event rewards such as [Echelon Treasure] and [Justina Gu's Card-Emote·Skip].

Hero Adjustments I. Kurumi For [Binding Prayer] skill and all the variants, Teleportation will no longer be interrupted by gold Focus melee strikes. II. Yoto Hime 1. Increased the attack range of the [Spirit Slash] skill and the demonic blade's flight speed. Optimized the feel of Spirit Slash. 2. For [Spirit Slash] and all the variants, the gold Focus skills will no longer be interrupted by gold Focus melee strikes. III. Valda Cui The [Haze: Teleport] skill will no longer be interrupted by gold Focus melee strikes. IV. Wuchen 1. Yin Yang Orbs set by the [Tai Chi Rift] ultimate will no longer be destroyed by enemies. Before the teleporting, enemies cannot see Yin Yang Orbs. 2. When casting the ultimate [Tai Chi Rift], Yin Yang Orbs will be marked automatically, in order to inform the party members of the location and distance of the Yin Yang Orbs. 3. Shortened the stiff duration when Wuchen and enemies switch the location in the ultimate [Tai Chi Rift·Switch]. Adjusted the enemies’ stiff duration from 1 sec to 0.5 sec, and appropriately decreased the transporting dagger of Wuchen. Adjusted the value of [Vulnerable] effect from 20% to 10%. // Dev Note: Wuchen’s ultimate [Tai Chi Rift·Switch] was too profitable when combined with some other hero skills. Thus, we have raised the threshold for cooperation with Wuchen and decreased the effect of [Vulnerable].
Weapon Adjustments I. Spears Optimized the sound effects (SFX) for some Scale Rush moves.
Souljade Adjustments I. Items and Buffs Changed [Stormstride] effects to: Calls down a strike of lightning at your previous location 0.5 sec after dodging. This only takes effect within 15 sec of attacking, or being attacked.
Match Adjustments I. Spirit Quests Removed the [Spirit Walker] quest.
II. Scout Bell Adjustments 1. Increased the scout radius to 100m, and enemies behind the blindage will be visible. (Stealth and other special statuses are not shown.) 2. In the new mode, Omni's Nightmare, the scout radius will be increased to 135m, and enemies behind the blindage will be visible. (Stealth and other special statuses are not shown.)
III. Quick Match Adjustments [Soulbloom Essence] will also be dropped in Quick Matches. They restore the same amount as in [The Herald's Trial].
IV. Dark Tide Coins Dropping Adjustment Decreased the amount of Dark Tide Coins dropped from breakables in Artisan's Grove.
V. Gaming Optimization Optimized the mechanics of some special effects, improved the frame rate and the lagging. These will be optimized continuously in the upcoming versions.
Out-Game Adjustments I. Custom Lobbies 1. Added the option to customize spawn areas in The Herald's Trial Custom Lobbies. 2. Added new features to Ref Spectate: (1) Refs can tap R while spectating to toggle Cairn player names. V. Controller Settings Optimization When using controllers, adjusted the default setting of [Adjust Attack Direction] from [Attack from camera direction] to [Attack from stick direction]. (This adjustment will not influence the current players’ setting, while this will only be applied for the new characters’ default settings. Players can adjust manually in “ESC-Button Layout-Controller-Adjust Attack Direction”.
