The details for this update are as follows:

Brand-new content!
I. Map Updates
Added the new area, 'Barren Pit', along with several other new structures and natural features to the game.

II. In-game Features
1. Bells found around the map will now show on the map when interacted with. If rung, they'll appear as a bell icon upon the mini-map to mark all surviving enemies within an 80m radius (each bell can only be rung 3 times, with 180 sec cooldown between each ring).
2. Added Wishing Well mechanism. Cast an item into one, and you'll receive another item in its place (each Wishing Well can only be used 3 times).

III. Preparation Stage

During the Christmas, we have prepared a big Christmas tree and a large number of gift boxes for players in the preparation phase of the match. Shake it and there will be a surprise awaiting you!

IV. Limited-time Mode [Eternal Blazes]

Gameplay Info:
As another new year arrives, the Nian beast appears within our world. Those hunting for fortune shall ready their ranged weapons, and strive to become the Warrior of Fortune.
Only ranged weapons can be used in this gameplay.
Defeat as many enemies as possible within the time limit to rack up points.
At set intervals, the top two players will become the bounty targets: kill them to gain more points.
You're given three random ranged weapons each time you spawn.
Added new snowy Souljades for Cannon and Flamebringer.
Upon defeating an enemy you'll gain Dark Tide Coins. Spend these on Souljades, weapons and supplies from Rift Dealers.
Gold Eggs can be found across the map, a free source of advanced Souljades and weapons. You retain any Souljades and Dark Tide Coins gained.
Hero adjustments: In this gameplay, the health of Yueshan and Tianhai in the Ultimate status has been appropriately reduced. The skill [Zephyr Wisps] of Temulch will not be able to control the targets attacking with ranged weapons. And the rage recovery speed of Tarka Ji's skill [Blackout: Frenzy] has been properly reduced as well.

V. Limited-time Mode [Shadow Surge]
Available from 12/28/2021 20:00 (UTC) to 01/04/2022 20:00 (UTC).
Gameplay Info:
The Shadow Corruption spreads and blots out the sky, yet the power of Rebirth grows stronger still!
Shadow Surge's rules are essentially the same as The Herald's Trial.
The starting safe zone is smaller.
Shadow Corruption deals high damage, and once it starts spreading, it doesn't stop.
Each player may resurrect up to 2 times.
It's easier to find high-grade equipment and items.
Bonus Silver Eggs can be found around the map, with a high chance to grant special, Snowy Souljades.

Event rules:
Players will get [Christmas Stockings] by completing weekly quests during the event. The [Christmas Stockings] can be used to redeem great event rewards. The event quests will be reset at 4 p.m. every Thursday.
Some players will have the identity of [Festive Fellow] during the event. Players with this identity can get one [Merry Card] everyday they log in the game. And the [Festive Fellow] will be reset at 4 p.m. every Thursday.
Players may use the [Merry Card] to send Season's Greetings to other players, who will receive 1 [Peace Apple] by system email. [Peace Apple] can be used to redeem exclusive event rewards.

VIII. Limited-time [Torchbearer Gift]
Available from 12/23/2021 Update to 01/05/2021 18:05 (UTC).
Rewards claimable from 01/05/2021 18:05 (UTC) to 01/06/2021 18:05 (UTC).
Pass the torch during the event to receive a limited-time Torchbearer Gift! This reward may be claimed only once and by the Torchbearer during the event.
To successfully pass the torch, the player receiving it must log in and reach Lv. 9.

Hero Adjustments
I. Transform Mechanism Adjustments
Adjusted the basic health and attack of Vajra (when using Tianhai’s ultimate [Titan's Call] and other talents) and Almighty General when using (Yueshan’s ultimate [Troop Decimation] and other talents). The basic health increases as the armor grade upgrades; the basic attack increases as the weapon grade upgrades. The buff effects of souljades remain unchanged.
When not being equipped with armor, the basic health will be about 75% of that before update.
When being equipped with common armor, the basic health will be about 85% of that before update.
When being equipped with rare armor, the basic health will be about 94% of that before update.
When being equipped with epic armor, the basic health will be equal to that before update.
When being equipped with legendary armor, the basic health will be about 106% of that before update.

When not being equipped with weapon, the basic attack will be about 46% of that before update.
When being equipped with common weapon, the basic attack will be about 71% of that before update.
When being equipped with rare weapon, the basic attack will be about 85% of that before update.
When being equipped with epic weapon, the basic attack will be equal to that before update.
When being equipped with legendary weapon, the basic attack will be about 114% of that before update.

II. Tianhai
1. Adjusted the amount of health regenerated by his ultimate, [Titan's Call: Heal]. Using it and grabbing 1 enemy used to recover a fixed amount of 1,000 health, which is now adjusted to 25% of his max health. Using it and grabbing 2 enemies used to recover a fixed amount of 2,500 health, which is now adjusted to 62.5% of his max health.
2. Adjusted the display of Vajra's health and weapon bag, so as to better match the rest of the interface.

III. Yueshan
1. Adjusted the display of Almighty General's health and weapon bag, so as to better match the rest of the interface.
2. Yueshan will be [Stunned] while in his ultimate form.
3. Adjusted the duration of Yueshan's ultimate from 30 sec to 25 sec.
4. Adjusted the hit times of [Leaping Slash] from 2 to 3, and adjusted its damage from 209%*2 to 38% + 190%*2.
5. Reduced the cooldown of [Rampage: Formation] to 20 sec.
//Dev Note: The heroes who are able to transform used to enjoy stable benefits through using ultimate. By making these changes, we hope the strength of their ultimate can be affected by heroes’ in-game growth and performance.
IV. Kurumi
We've reduced the rescue speed of [Binding Prayer] and all talent skills that link to allies' Cairns by 20%.

V. Matari
Matari's [Unseen Wings: Group Stealth] ultimate now can also reset allies' talent skill cooldowns when cast.
//Dev Note: We're implementing these changes in the hope that Matari's ultimate and her allies' skills can be better used in tandem with each other.

VI. Temulch
Increased the control duration and effects of Temulch's [Zephyr Prison] ultimate from 4 to 8 seconds, along with those of [Buffeted] for all his skills. However, his energy regeneration has also been slowed.

VI. Tarka Ji
Adjusted [Blackout: Vulcan] to be usable while under attack.

Weapon Adjustments
I. Spears
1. Slightly shortened the startup frames of charged vertical strikes.
2. Optimized the hit determination for airborne vertical strikes.

II. Nunchucks
1. [Biding Fury] is no longer lost following Yueshan's [Troop Decimation] or Tianhai's [Titan's Call].
2. Optimized the feel of first, second and third stages of Horizontal Strike following a dodge.
3. Using [Horizontal Block] to counterattack can be interrupted by dodge.
4. The increasing ratio of damage taken by Nunchucks [Biding Fury] has increased from 60% to 80%.
5. The growth of [Biding Fury] while clashing has adjusted from 50 to 100.
6. [Dragon Flurry] Adjusted the damage distribution with the total damage unchanged.
First stage: adjusted from 50%*7 to 64%*7
Second stage: adjusted from 50%*4 to 63%*4
Third stage: adjusted from 70%*5 to 40%*5

III. Unarmed
Shortened the stagger duration caused by some moves.

Souljade Adjustments
I. Longswords
[Longsword Sap]: Optimized the Counterstrike Combo animation, adjusted the number of strikes to just 1, and the damage dealt from 306%*2 to 646%.

Match Adjustments
I. Cairn adjustments
1. Removed the 5-second wait before entering soul form. This is now achieved by holding related buttons instead.
2. If you have any resurrections left upon dying and becoming a Cairn, you now retain 33% of your Dark Tide Coins. Dying with 0 resurrections left has you drop all of them as before.

II. Stashes
Added a match alert sent out when a player gains a Stash key.

III. Optimized spawn point choices
1. To keep you on top of where your teammates will spawn, an alert "XXX (player name) has selected a spawn point" will be shown in the party chat when they choose a spawn location.

IV. Optimized Moonbane Charms
1. Optimized Moonbane Charm UI prompts:
(1) Added an icon indicating teammates have a Moonbane Charm to Team Info. A countdown will also be shown to teammates when there's under 60 seconds left.
(2) You're now directly prevented from using Moonbane Charms when Banebreath is already striking. You no longer need to open the map, tap to use it and then receive an alert stating you can't.
2. Adjusted certain Moonbane Charm values: reduced its warning duration from 15 sec to 8 sec, and the damage inflicted when hit by a basic Moonbane Charm strike from 1,250 to 700. A single hit damage from Moonbane Charm II has been adjusted form 1,500 to 825. A single hit damage from Moonbane Charm III has been adjusted form 1,750 to 950; and we've lowered their Rift Dealer prices accordingly.
//Dev Note: We'd like to see heroes putting Moonbane Charms to more varied use.

V. Trove drop of wild area surrounding Eventide Temple
Slightly adjusted the drop of Troves found around wild areas surrounding Eventide Temple.

VI. Added interactive hero voice lines
1. Valda Cui and Tarka Ji voice lines heard in loading pages.
2. Special voice for certain killing.

VII. BOT Mode adjustments
We've raised the difficulty of BOT Mode to make it more challenging.

VIII. Bloodsport adjustments
1. Added an arena to Gamma Mine, replacing the former plat in the Shadowjade Mine.

IX. Custom Lobby adjustments
1. Added The Bloodbath Duo and Trios to Custom Lobbies.
2. Added the option to hide health bars based on distance to Ref Spectate. This function can be toggled, and its range adjusted, in Settings - Ref Spectate. It can also be turned on/off with the hotkey (B) while in-game.

X. Controller adjustments
1. Added a weapon quick-switch radial menu, accessed by holding down on the D-pad. Once it appears, you can select a weapon to switch to from this wheel using the right joystick.
2. Changed the controls for switching the unarmed status, which can now be done by double-tapping down on the D-pad.
3. Changed the controls for using Weaponry Chests. Under the first default control scheme, this is L1 + down on the D-pad (PlayStation) / LB + down on the D-pad (Xbox). Under the second default control scheme, it's R1 + down on the D-pad (PlayStation) / RB + down on the D-pad (Xbox).
4. Added a way to quickly swap your weapon with those found upon the battlefield. You can now face the desired weapon and press L1 + □ (PlayStation) / LB + X (Xbox) under the first control scheme, or R1 + □ (PlayStation) / RB + X (Xbox) under the second.
5. Added a quick-use item wheel accessed by holding left or right on the D-pad. Once it appears, you can select an item and use it from this wheel using the right joystick.
6. Moonbane Charms have also been added to the item wheel. Open the item wheel and select a Moonbane Charm to use it.
XI. Performance optimization
1. Optimized the performance of shadow rendering in the game.
2. Added a toggle for NVIDIA Graphics Enhancement. When the rendering ratio is less than 100%, players can turn off the NIS to get better performance, with lower graphics quality.

Out-Game Adjustments
I. Hero Cultivation adjustments
1. Adjusted the difficulty of most heroes' Cultivation Quests, making them more in line with our expectations.
2. Some heroes' Cultivation Quests can now be completed in BOT Mode.

II. Added Team Reward Bonuses
Playing together in parties now grants bonus XP.

III. Added Friends Greetings
Send friends greetings to raise your Intimacy. Upon receiving greetings from friends, you'll also gain a certain amount of Tae.

IV. Added Friend Status Notifications
When friends recruit party members, log in or get certain ranks, players will receive real-time notifications in the lobby (you can turn off such notifications in the privacy settings).

I. Friend Status Notifications Toggle
1. By navigating to Settings - Game - Privacy Settings, you can toggle whether or not you send and receive friends' status notifications.
II. Added Controller vibration feature
1. Controller vibration will be triggered when some heroes hit enemies with ultimates, counter successfully, complete second-stage charge of bow, hit by the Banebreath, or the health bar turns into red.
2. Controller vibration is turned on by default. Players can turn it off in Settings – Controls – Controller - Toggles controller vibration.

2. Optimized Temulch's 'Sneer' gesture to avoid clipping issues that could occur in certain situations.

About the Game Content
Q: What content is available for free-trial players?
A: During the Free Weekend, free-trial players will be able to play six heroes, including Viper Ning, Temulch, Matari, Tarka Ji, Kurumi and Tianhai. They will also have access to all modes, (Free trial players will need to get to level 15 or higher before they can enter the Herald’s trial) Free-trial players can gain heroes and weapon proficiency the same as normal players.

Q: Can free-trial players conduct purchase in game?
A: NO. Free-trial players are not able to purchase in game, speak in the public channel, receive gifts or open treasures (except events like martial treasures.). The name-change card is also unavailable.
Note: Free-trial players can gain the treasures by increasing the weapon proficiency. Treasures will be sent in players’ email box and they can open them after purchasing the full game.

Q: Can free-trial players participate in Torchbearer
A: NO. Only full game players are allowed to participate in Torchbearer. (Free-trial players on Steam and Epic are barred from participating in Torchbearer. )

About Matching
Q: Can free-trial players match with normal players?
A: They will be in the different matching pools. Trial players will be prioritized to match with trial players first.

Q: Can normal players team with free-trial players?
A: YES. Normal players can play with free-trial players, but the team will be prioritized to match free-trial teams first.

Q: Can free-trial players start custom matches? Will the custom matched be independent from the normal players?
A: Free-trial players are able to open custom matches, and the matching is the same as the full game version.

Q: Is the difference between the EPIC store version and others?
A: It doesn't matter if you are on Epic or Steam. You can team up, make matches, and so. Just with a different platform to log in.

Brand-new Content!
I. Brand-new weapon: Nunchucks
A new kind of melee weapon has surfaced upon Morus Isle over the past few days: the Nunchucks. A fine combination of offense and defense, proficient wielders flow and crash like water itself—stunning all who stand before them.

II. BOT Mode
Naraka now has its own BOT Mode! Temper your tenacity and skills in 'Normal' difficulty, or if you're up to the challenge, there's always 'Hard' too!

III. Map Updates
Added in more structures and natural landscapes to Sunvale Dwelling, Wild Trench, Jade Pond, Cosmic Pillars and other areas. We'll continue to add more content in coming updates.

IV. NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Free Trial

1. During this period, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will be free to play for newcomers who have not yet purchased the game.

3. Limited Time Battle Rewards Event

The event rules are as follows:
1. Players can open Troves and destroy breakables around them in The Herald's Trial and Quick Matches to gain Martial Tokens. You can collect up to 20 per match and 50 per day this way. Players can also gain rare Martial Treasure rewards from gold Troves (1 per match and up to 3 per day).
2. Whenever a player's knocked airborne, downed or defeated, there's a chance they'll drop one of their Martial Tokens or Martial Treasures.
3. Martial Tokens can be redeemed for limited-edition event rewards!
*Note: Rewards may be redeemed during the event up until 12/23/2021 20:00 (UTC), so don't leave it too late!

Hero Adjustments
I. Tarka Ji
Increased the [Burn] damage inflicted by Tarka Ji's talent skills and ultimate, from 1.5% to 2% of the enemy's health per second.

II. Valda Cui
1. [Haze], [Haze: Array] and [Haze: Teleport] can now bind blue and purple Focus targets. The [Haze] cooldown's been adjusted from 17 to 15 sec, [Haze: Array]'s bind duration reduced from 2 to 0.5 sec, and Tide Traps now last for up to 7 sec (originally lasted 4 sec).
2. Slightly lengthened the time it takes to struggle free from [Nether Nightmare], [Nether Nightmare: Smite] and [Nether Nightmare: Bind].
3. Increased the number of water spears granted by [Nether Nightmare: Bind] from 5 to 6, and the duration that Valda's sea dragon remains. As for water spears thrown with horizontal strikes, their flight speed has been increased as necessary, yet their damage reduced from 200 to 100.
//Dev Note: We'd like for Valda Cui to be able to bring a certain variety to the lineup, creating more possibilities. As such we've buffed all her skills' control capabilities, and would like to see [Haze: Array] be put to better use as an area control skill. Her ultimates' control durations have similarly been buffed, and more leeway given to mistakes with [Nether Nightmare: Bind].

III. Yueshan
1. Optimized the range of Leaping Slash once Yueshan has transformed with [Troop Decimation].
2. Greatly increased the range of [Rampage: Heaven's Descent].
3. Increased the duration of [Rampage: Formation] from 3 to 5 sec, and reduced the damage reduction it grants from 50% to 35%.
//Dev Note: We'd like to improve the accuracy of Yueshan's charged horizontal strikes, and hope that his Skill 2 and 3 can be put to full use.

IV. Kurumi
Adjusted the amount of health Kurumi heals with [Sacred Circle] in Duos mode from 300 to 240.

V. All Heroes
Adjusted heroes' maximum Rage in The Bloodbath and Free Training to match that of The Survival.

Weapon Adjustments
I. Dagger
1. [Yurang's Rage] and [Dreadful Wail] have been changed from gold to purple Focus moves (note: aside from the fact they cannot be Countered, purple Focus moves function the same as blue Focus).
2. Slightly delayed the initial strike of [Soulbreak], which can no longer be charged up.
3. Improved [Dragon Crush's] pursuit capabilities along with its range.
//Dev Note: With its varied forms and unpredictability, [Soulbreak] can mislead and bewilder the enemy. This time around we're working to balance this by slightly reducing its overpowered ability to dominate the enemy. It's still possible to Dagger Dash, crouch and then charge up a horizontal strike, and we're retaining the blue Focus that a full charge grants. Attacks not fully charged are considered common attacks, instead. We've also improved [Dragon Crush] and hope these adjustments will help Dagger gameplay develop in a positive direction.

II. Spear
1. Optimized the range of midair horizontal strikes and crouched horizontal strikes.
2. Reduced crouching horizontal strike damage from 85% * 2 to 95% * 2.
3. Optimized Spears' third horizontal strike, charged horizontal strikes, as well as the time frame in which you can follow up their second and third vertical strikes with a dodge.
//Dev Note: Spears haven't been performing all that well in the battlefield. We're optimizing the range and damage of some Spear moves, aiming to improve the overall feel of Spear gameplay and balance them against other weapons found on Morus Isle.

III. Katana

//Dev Note: Given the overly-complex terrain of the Shadowjade Mine, battles there would tend to last longer than in other areas. This wasn't a great experience for players and so we've decided to remove it for the time being. Additionally, we've shortened the preparation period as we found that players rarely switch heroes during this time.

III. Performance Optimization
1. We've continued optimizing the complexity of certain special effects to improve the fluidity of combat.
2. This new version integrates NVIDIA's latest super-resolution technology, NIS. Graphics cards lacking DLSS support are now also able to experience superior effects, and greatly improve rendering. Using a Render Scale of 50-99% will automatically activate NIS (note: this also applies to non-NVIDIA graphics cards).

I. New Custom Lobby option: 'Cosmetics only visible to allies and spectators'.

To celebrate an exciting year for NARAKA, 24 Entertainment announced a free weekend for players from December 17th at 8 am PST through December 21st at 8 am PST. New players will be able to explore and learn NARAKA at their own pace as matchmaking will be divided between players that already own the game and those trying out the game for the first time.


The highlight of Naraka Fest was the revealing of the Bruce Lee / NARAKA crossover event. Players can gear up in official Bruce Lee apparel: with a new outfit for Tianhai that takes inspiration from Lee's unrestrained flowing movements and limitless martial prowess. From December 17-20, NARAKA will be rolling out a variety of in-game events. 1. Will there be any crossover announcements?

Yes! There will be not one, not three, but five major collabs! The crossovers will be a variety of titles, from games well-known in the west and some popular titles in the East. Some of these crossovers have been (bean?!) asked quite frequently from the devs, and we're happy to see that you have guessed some of the games we're collabing with correctly! Some collabs, however; the players haven't figured out just yet!



2. Where can I watch the show? Will it be available in languages other than English?

The show will be available in English, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese, and we will also upload subtitles on YouTube to make it easier for players of different languages to watch.
The livestream will be on the official YouTube and Twitch channels in each language, and we have also made an integrated livestream page for your convenience. The detailed address will be released later!

Because this update contains a lot of new content, the development team needs more time to produce and polish, the new version of the update will be postponed to 12.14 (next Tuesday).

5. When will Naraka: Bladepoint arrive to console?

The devs are continuing to work hard on the console version and we're planning to release the PS5 and XBOX version of Naraka: Bladepoint in 2022.

This week, our Performance Optimization Group has been adapting and integrating the latest hardware and display technology for NARAKA.

On October 31, Intel released its 12th generation Core processors, containing large and small core architectures; with the optimization of both cores being the latest and greatest challenge. Before the processors were officially launched, key members of our newly-established Performance Optimization Group began multiple rounds of optimization tests, working in tandem with Intel engineers.

Through thread priority settings, the number of working threads was adjusted and optimized, enabling optimum performance with the new architecture. So much so that game performance improvement is really very obvious on the i9, i7 and i5 — with an average frame rate improvement of around 10%. Even as much as 20% in some instances.

After the CPU was released, the team released the optimization for the 12th generation CPU for the first time on November 25, 2021; putting NARAKA among the first batch of games, worldwide, to properly support Intel's large and small core architecture CPUs.

In addition to the optimization of the latest hardware, the Performance Optimization Group will also focus on improving experiences, for a wide range of NARAKA’s gamers, by applying the latest technology to the game.

This week our team accessed NVIDIA's latest super-resolution technology, which can dramatically improve rendering performance through ‘super-resolution computing’. The technology is also available on 10-series (and below) graphics cards that do not support DLSS technology, meaning players can automatically start the NIS technology by adjusting the rendering ratio setting in the settings screen. We still need some time to test it however, but we’re confident it will come online once testing is over.

1. Can the devs add an icon below the team status bar showing the ultimate cooldown so that players don’t have to ask teammates frequently? It would also help players' judge the battlefield situation.
A: There is already an icon below the team status bar showing if players' ultimates are ready or not. Adding the cooldown as well, we think, will be too much information on the UI.

2. Could it be possible to save all the settings in Custom Match so that we can load the same settings next time we create a new lobby?
A: This is a great idea at making custom lobbies much more convenient. Thank you for the idea and this has been passed on for consideration!

3. Dyeing hair gives players a lot of freedom in character customization. Will there be more options for hairstyle customization in the future?
A: We are currently in the works of developing a dye highlight function, which will be available soon.

4. Choosing the same hero in the Duo mode is too imbalanced. Will this be changed?
A: We are currently evaluating the option of adding DUO mode to Ranked match, as well as limiting players from locking in the same heroes in one team.

5. We've received many reports that the dagger is too OP right now. Are the devs planning to balance it?
A: Dagger currently ranks 2nd in solo win rate, and 5th in trios win rate. We’re monitoring all the data from the use of the dagger, and will adjust the moves that are too OP, to improve players’ combat experience.

6. After changing my password, many players' Twitch account doesn’t link to their NARAKA accounts anymore. How can this be fixed?
A: We received numerous reports of this issue for some time now following the recent security breach at Twitch where players' were advised to change their passwords. Twitch hasn’t provided a solution, however; we are currently working on resolving the issue on our end. We are developing a new function in our Twitch account linking page, with which players can unlink and then re-link your Twitch account with your NARAKA account, which will be online before Dec 12th.

Hero Adjustments
I. Tarka Ji
1. The partywide Energy recovery effect of Tarka Ji's default ultimate talent [Blackout] now lasts for a set 30 seconds.
2. The partywide Attack buff of Tarka Ji's ultimate [Blackout: Frenzy] now lasts for a set 30 seconds.
//Dev Note: We want Tarka Ji to provide teammates with more reliable buffs. Now, when Tarka Ji manually turns off his ultimate or is slain, his buffs will continue to take effect.
3. When Tarka Ji activates his ultimate, his and his teammates' arms and legs gain a fiery effect. This will no longer be seen by enemies when invisible.
4. Adjusted the effects of [Burn], from “Deduct health and armor within 5 sec, and the healing effect will be reduced by 50%” to “Deduct health and armor at percentage within 5 sec, and the healing effect will be reduced by 50%”.
5. When Tarka Ji activates his ultimate, the hit during running and speeding down will no longer cause [Burn] effects on enemies.
II. Yueshan
1. Decreased the stagger duration of [Rampage] hit after Yueshan transformed in [Troop Decimation].
2. Optimized the hit determination of charged vertical attack [Dragontail] during Yueshan’s ultimate.
3. During Yueshan’s ultimate, adjusted the damage multiplier of charged vertical attack [Dragontail] from 848% to 734%, and adjusted the damage multiplier of charged horizontal attack [Leaping Slash] from 452% to 418%.
4.When Yueshan transforms in [Troop Decimation], the damage multiplier of [Rampage] is decreased from 30% + 60% to 20% + 30%.
//Dev Note: Yueshan, the Marquis of Eternia, seems to be overpowering after his debut on Morus Isle. So, we decreased the damage of some skills.

Weapon Adjustments
I. Spear
1. Slightly reduced the knockback distance of spear horizontal strike's first attack when charged. This should make it easier to follow a second attack.
2. Optimized the feel of following Uppercut Slash after the second attacks of spear horizontal or vertical strikes.
3. Won't take damage from sword energy during [Nezha's Might], and the sword energy can be broken by [Nezha's Might].
4. Damage Adjustments:
[Dragonslayer] - Increased the damage from 202% to 251%.
[Nezha's Might] - Adjusted the damage from 56%*2 + 83%*2 + 99%*2 to 51%*2 + 76%*2 + 105%*2.
//Dev Note: In both Solo and Trios, the usage rate of Spear is not as expected, thus we want players to be safer when activating [Nezha's Might], with more stable damage output.

II. Katana
1.Reduced the damage multiplier of crouching vertical strikes to 213% (was 250%).
//Dev Note: The crouching Uppercut Slash of Katana has the highest damage multiplier among all weapons’ Upper Slash, while maintaining super high performance. Thus, we slightly decreased its damage.
III. Dagger
1.Decreased the remaining time of the Focus after [Soulbreak].
//Dev Note: While maintaining the high attacking ability of [Soulbreak], we slightly increased the vulnerability of [Soulbreak] after the attack failed.
In-Game Adjustments
I. Added a New Rebirth Charm Item
1. Item Effect: Increases your party's Resurrections when purchased. Living members of your party may interact with a Soul Altar to revive their fallen allies.
2. Item Drop: Limited stock from Rift Dealers and the first two Morus' Blessings.
3. Purchase Restriction: Only a party with a fully dead member may purchase them. The available number of charms equals to the number of dead members.
4. Modes: It is currently available in The Herald's Trial and Quick Match.

II. Mechanisms & Interactable Objects
1. Added a new type of red mushroom.
2. Added a very small amount of a new interactable object for good luck—Koi.

III. Rich Resource Area Adjustments
1. Adjusted some remote trove spawn in certain locations, making them easier to spot.

IV. Added Soul Damage
1. When attacked while in soul status, duration of the soul status will be deducted depending on the attack.

V. Item Pick Up & Interaction Optimizations
1. When you fail to pick up or interact with an item, another nearby item will automatically be set as the target for your next pick-up action.

VI. Bloodsport Adjustments
1. Previously only the final was played as best of 3. Now all rounds will be played as best of 3.
2. During the preparation phase, players must now choose three sets of heroes and weapons for each round. Players will no longer be able to change the lineup before each round. However, you can change it during the waiting time after a win.
3. Added a feature that automatically records which heroes and weapons you've previously used in Bloodsport.
4. Optimized the lineup selection logic. When you repeatedly choose a certain hero or weapon, this hero or weapon's usage order will be automatically changed.
//Dev Note: We have made adjustments to Bloodsport's format and improved the lineup selection process. We hope that all heroes can enjoy the fighting more fluently in the Bloodsport!

VII. Bag Item Marker Adjustments
1. Marking an item in your bag will now send a brand-new message: "[Player ID] I have [XXX]". Consumables will also be shown together with the amount owned. Their teammates may then use the Request button to elicit that they want the item.

VIII. Performance Optimization
1. Optimized the complexity of some special effects, in order to improve the battle fluency.
2. Optimized the CPU concurrency performance of some game logics such as Grappling Hook, and increased the frame rate.
3. Optimized the compatibility of Intel 12th generation CPU cores, and increased the frame rate of the game running on the latest Intel 12th generation CPU.

Ⅸ. Controllers
1. Added the vibration triggered by Counterstrike combos and the second-stage charged attack of the bow.

Out-Game Adjustments
I. One-Hero-Once matching in the Herald’s Trial
The One-Hero-Once will be open for all ranks in The Herald's Trial. Teams can only have one of each hero in this mode, in order to ramp up the competition to a higher level.
II. We've adjusted the difficulty of some heroes' Cultivation Quests, taking them more in line with our expectations:
1. Reduced the required kill count of Viper Ning's "Kill 10 enemies with Swarms." to 8.
2. Reduced the required kill count of Kurumi Tsuchimikado's "Kill 10 enemies with Flamebringers." to 8.
3. Reduced the damage requirement for Matari, Tarka Ji, and Yoto Hime's "Deal 30,000 damage in a single The Survival match." to 25,000.

III. Score Optimization
1. When a player's Hero Score, Kill Score, or Survival Score is greater than their Rank Score, diminishing returns for score will be greater.

IV. Free Training Mode Adjustments
1. Now, opponents in the different Free Training modes will be equipped with armor of a certain quality:

The function of customized content such as matching different weapon skins according to different outfits is already in the works, Our goal is to allow players to mix and match the appearance content more freely and conveniently.

2. Will you consider giving a skin to Tianhai's ult?

We love the big guy! We're currently ideating on the design and what kind of skins would look good on his ult, so let us know in the comments if you have any ideas, we'd love to hear!

3. Is it possible to add execution animations?

As seen in the trailers, we experimented with execution animations, but in multiplayer games, the long animation doesn’t perform well and inconveniences players. We'll try to incorporate the execution in a more appropriate way later on.

4. Will player’s health in duo mode be adjusted?

There will be slight adjustments, like the Tianhai ult.

5. It is strongly recommended to use the whole three rounds of two wins in Bloodsport.

We have adjusted the gameplay, starting from the first round with the best of three games, and optimized the lineup selection process.

6. Can you set the cooldown time of skills by yourself in customized lobby? It's too time-consuming to practice with friends and wait for CDS.

We're going to add full hero stat customization, skills cooldown, and more. We hope to make custom rooms more creative, and we'll continue to add custom room support in the future.
