As mentioned in our April 20th Maple Memo, we will be releasing Global MapleStory (GMS) roadmaps every quarter that cover the high-level contents and changes coming within the next 3-4 months. Since it’s only high-level contents and changes, please be mindful that it will list the notable updates but not everything that will be included in each patch. July - Destiny: Homecoming Update
Briefly introduced on our Destiny microsite and our April 20th Maple Memo, the second part of our summer update, Destiny: Homecoming, is coming soon on July 20th. It will introduce not only the boss Kalos in Karote, The Unending Tower but also the Lv. 250 Eternal Equipment Set. Our long awaited Home, a player housing system where players can decorate to their heart’s content, will also be included to put Maplers’ FashionStory to the next level. Starlight Symphony will continue with a few new events and Zero and Beast Tamer Character Creation Event will make a return.

August - Mu Lung Dojo Revamp & Legion Rank Expansion
Up, up, and away! Mu Lung Dojo will be expanded from 80 floors to 100 floors, accompanied with other improvements. A new Legion Rank will be added above the current Legendary Legion Rank. The new Legion Rank V will require 12,500 cumulative level and 5,000 Legion Coins to rank up while it provides 45 assigned members and accumulates up to 1,000 Legion Coins.

August - Spiegelmann’s Starlight Box & Maple Pop Star Dreams!
Spiegelmann is preparing a Starlight Box filled with special gifts! Once players complete the daily mission by defeating monsters near their level, players will earn valuable rewards such as Symbol Selector Coupons, Growth Potion Selector Coupons, and various cosmetic items. Ever dreamt of being a pop star? Players can defeat monsters near their level and collect quest items to trade in and decorate their very own stage! Players will get to unlock customizations for the chair and receive functional and cosmetic rewards when they reach level milestones.

Early October - Night Troupe
Night Troupe is returning, but in Rien this time! Players can enjoy various attractions and receive generous perks that include stat bonuses, EXP buffs, and more. There are plenty of events and rewards to keep everyone entertained so make sure to keep an eye out for the details once the update is near.

That’s the high-level contents and events we wanted to share about the upcoming GMS updates between July - early October 2022. We hope this roadmap sheds light on and provides information that players may be curious about and assists with advanced preparation. As mentioned, there are more contents coming than those listed so please refer to the Update Preview post and Patch Notes post for the finalized details. Though, if plans change due to unforeseen circumstances, we will post a mid-update to inform players of the changes to the proposed timeline. The next GMS Roadmap for Q4 2022 will be released tentatively near the end of September.

Summer is here and that means it is time for everyone's favorite Master Plan! Check out the details below.

Event Dates: Thursday, June 30th, After Maintenance - Thursday, September 1st, Before Maintenance

• During the event, you will receive the quest, [Guide] The Summer Master Plan.
• Find Agent Poe near the Town Office in Dunbarton.
• Register a main character with Agent Poe.
• You will receive the following reward after completing [Guide] The Summer Master Plan:
  • 50,000 EXP
  • Summer Companion Ticket x1

• Each week, you will receive the weekly quest, [Guide] The Master Plan.
• Talk to Agent Poe and click on Select Weekly Quest to choose up to 9 weekly quests to take on for the week.
• You will receive the following reward after speaking to Agent Poe and selecting the weekly quests:
  • 50,000 EXP
• Completing each weekly quest (minus Rebirth quests) will also reward the following:
  • 90,000 EXP
  • Summer Companion Ticket x20
• Rebirth quests will reward the following:
  • 30,000 EXP
  • Summer Companion Ticket x20
• Incomplete quests will be removed every Thursday at 7:00 AM PDT.
• The weekly quests that are available will be different depending on the week, so be sure to check in with Agent Poe to view the available quests.

• After registering for a main character, you will be able to rent the Master Plan Inventory.
• Talk to Agent Poe and click on Request Master Plan Inventory Rental for more information.
• You will be able to use the Master Plan Inventory, which has a 15x10 inventory size for the duration of the Master Plan event.
• The Master Plan Inventory is accessible by clicking on the Master Plan Inventory bag icon in the top-right of your main inventory window.
• Once the event ends, the inventory space will be locked. No items can be put into the bag, but all items can be retrieved.

• Throughout the entire event period, the following buffs will also be active:

• The weekly purchase limit for certain items resets on Thursdays at 7:00 AM PDT.
• The Master Plan Special Potion can only be purchased once during the event.

• During the event you will receive the quest [Guide] Agent W's Summons.
• Talk to Agent W at the Dunbarton Town Office to register a main character.
• The character cannot be a novice talent character or a pet.
• After talking to Agent W you will receive:
• 20,000 EXP
• You can rent a pre-upgraded and pre-reforged (Rank 1) Celtic weapon of your preferred talent from Agent W.
• The rental is free; however, you can only rent one weapon at a time.
• Talk to Agent W to return your current rental then select a different Celtic weapon to rent.
• The weapon that you rent will have reduced durability.
• Rental weapons can only be used during the event period.
• You can also rent a Level 200 Scooter Imp (90 days).
• You can only rent one Scooter Imp per account.
• The rental pet does not have an inventory and it can be summoned for 90 days.
• The pet whistle will be removed at the end of the event if it has not been used.

• Commerce has been expanded into the Iria region!
• Characters who have completed the third Memoir of Blaanid's Brave Boost will receive the quest, [Guide] Iria, the Land of Opportunity.
• 8 Trading Post have been added to the continent of Iria.
  • 4 General Trading Posts: Qilla, Filia, Cor and Vales Trading Posts
    • These Trading Posts function the same as the existing Uladh Trading Posts.
    • Purchase goods using Seasonal Ducats and sell them to other trading posts.
  • 4 Barter Trading Posts: Karu Forest, Oasis, Calida, and Pera Trading Posts
    
    • These Trading Posts function similarly to the existing Scathach Beach Trading Post. You can exchange materials for trade goods and sell them to other Trading Posts.
    • In order to use the Barter Trading Post, you must reach a Seasonal Commerce Rank of Silver 5.
    • Items required for exchange can be obtained via crafting using life skills, such as Potions, Firewood, Leather, and more.
    • You cannot purchase trade items using Seasonal Ducats at the Barter Trading Posts.
    • The exchange count for exchanging materials for trade goods differs by each trade good at each Barter Trading Post.
      • The number of exchanges available resets weekly on Saturday at 7 AM PT.
      • The characters within the account share trade counts.
• In the newly added Trading Posts, you can trade with members of the Iria Trade Association, similar to the Merchant Imps on Uladh.
• New daily quests related to Commerce in Iria have been added.
  • You can receive daily quests from the Iria Commerce Association NPCs at the Iria Trading Posts.
• New BGM has been added when engaging in Commerce in Iria.
• Additional Commerce transportation methods are now available, including three types of rental transport mounts:
  • Dog Sled
  • Camel
  • Trader's Skiff
• These mounts can be rented after unlocking the permanent Commerce transportation methods: Backpack, Wagon, and Elephant.
  
  • These mounts can only be rented using Seasonal Ducats.
  • The rental period lasts the duration of the current Commerce trade season, and the mounts must be rented again during the next trade season.
  • After renting both a Dog Sled and Camel, you will be able to rent a Trader's Skiff.
  • Each mount has a different weight capacity and number of slots available for transporting goods.
  • Camels can move quickly in the desert of Connous, and move slower than usual in the snowy areas of Physis.
  • Dog Sleds can move quickly in Physis.
• Two new ports, Port Connous and Port Sella, have been added. The existing ports, Port Ceann and Port Cobh, have been upgraded.
• Ships in Port Cobh, Port Qilla, and Port Ceann have been replaced with gigantic ships.
• Port Sella has been added to Sella Beach in Iria.
• Port Connous has been added to Connous Beach in Iria.
• A new port route has been added to Port Ceann on Uladh that leads to Port Sella and Port Connous in Iria.
• A new port route has been added to Port Cobh on Uladh that leads to Port Qilla.
• Four new NPCs are available to help you sail and trade with Iria:
  • Igerna (Port Sella - Port Ceann)
  • Caoimhin (Port Connous - Port Ceann)
  • Linden (Port Qilla - Port Cobh)
  • Sayiv (Port Qilla)
• The existing navigator for Port Cobh, Karis, is now vacationing in Port Connous.
• A Smuggler NPC has been added to each new port to help smuggle Milletians; Iven at Port Sella and Eirwana in Port Connous.
  • If you bring the Stowaway Ticket item to the Smuggler during the evening and nighttime, you can immediately move to Port Ceann through the Smuggler.
  • Smuggling will decrease your Merchant Rating 20,000 each for all trading posts in Uladh and Iria.
  • Stowaway Tickets can be obtained by Bandits that appear during Commerce and Bandit Hunting.
• Improvements have been made so that the remaining time until departure and time remaining until arrival during a voyage between ports are displayed.
• A unique BGM will now play while sailing.

• A new Seasonal Commerce system has been introduced.
  • Seasonal Ducats are a new type of currency used for trading during the season.
  • Earn rewards as you raise your Seasonal Commerce Rank.
  • Place on the Ranking Board to become a Commerce Champion and receive rewards at the end of the season.
• The market price cost range and Ducat yield of trade goods for each Uladh Trading Post have been improved.
• The weight and max quantity per slot of some Uladh trade goods have been changed.
• You can now check the current Market Price for the trade goods you have when you click on the INFO button at the top right corner after starting Commerce.

• The Outlaw Pursuit Wanted Board bounty tracking system has been revamped.
  • All Outlaws are shown on the Wanted Board regardless of their criminal records.
  • The reward for bounties registered on the board will increase in value periodically.
  • As before, the reward will increase if a Milletian's goods have been stolen.
  • If you succeed in catching the Outlaw, the bounty will be re-registered on the bulletin board after 30 minutes.
  • You cannot use the Wanted Board when playing as a pet.
• An urgent wanted alert system has been added for Wanted Outlaws.
  • If you catch an Outlaw with a wanted bounty, you can get a bonus amount of Seasonal Ducats.
  • Any Outlaw with an urgent wanted bounty will be marked on the board.
  • If an Outlaw with an increased bounty is not defeated and another event occurs on the same Outlaw, the bounty is increased, up to a maximum of 1,000,000 Seasonal Ducats.

• Seven new Outlaws have been added.
  • You can obtain a journal achievement once for defeating each Outlaw.
• The way Bandits are encountered during Commerce has been changed.
  • It has been changed to spawn within a random range around the character when moving into a Dangerous Area, rather than appearing at specified coordinates.
  • The Bandits can still be avoided if you proceed with caution.
• A new Iria Bandit group has been added. They consist of Humans, Elves, and Giants.
  • These Bandits only appear in Iria.
• A function to limit the number of weekly exchanges has been added to Barter Trading Posts.
  • Scathach Beach Trading Post's trading feature now has a limit of 200 times per material.
  • The number of exchanges available resets on Saturday at 7 AM PT weekly.
  • Characters on the same account share trade counts.
  • In order to use the Barter Trading Post, you must reach a Seasonal Commerce Rank of Silver 5.
• The Trade Assistant Imp's conversation UI no longer shows during trade (some support puppet's dialogue function still appears).
• PVP is no longer possible during Commerce.
• The stock of each trade item is displayed in the Trading Post.
• If you stop engaging in Commerce, the stock of the Trading Post you purchased goods from will be restored.
• A new bridge across the Suytu River, near the town of Cor in Iria, has been added.
• Yvona sells the following items for Ducats, which can now also be purchased with Seasonal Ducats. Note that her shop's stock changes every Erinn day:

  • A Composer's Life
  • Unknown Song Vol. 1

• The following items have been added to the Limited Items tab when trading with the Iria Trade association or the Merchant Imps in Uladh. These items can be purchased using Ducats.

The Destiny update is in full swing, and with 14 revamped classes to dive into, there's a lot of gear that needs its full potential to be explored! • During the noted periods, you will be able to Cube away with Red Cubes, Black Cubes, and Bonus Potential Cubes, as well as White Cubes and Violet Cubes if you have them, with double the chance of rank-up, and even the chance of increasing your equipment's Potential rank twice with a single cube, possibly letting you jump from Rare straight to Unique!
• These worlds are all using the same time period, so hop on and cube away, no registration or tickets required!

The Destiny update is in full swing, and with 14 revamped classes to dive into, there's a lot of gear that needs its full potential to be explored! Maplers on Reboot World will be able to sign-up for your own personal Miracle Time periods to use to Cube up your gear to its maximum Potentials! Event Details:

• When the Registration Period begins, use the Star Event Notifier to accept the "[MMT] Magical Miracle Time Pre-registration" quest to be awarded a registration coin, and select which date you'd like to try to purchase a Magical Miracle Time Registration Ticket for.
• Requirements: Characters on Reboot World that are Lv. 101 or above can register (all characters on the account on Reboot World will benefit from it, however).
• Use the Star Event Notifier to travel to the Miracle Time Registration Map, and speak to the NPC there to purchase a Magical Miracle Time Registration Ticket for the previously selected day. In order to prevent overcrowding, you will only have 60 seconds to make the purchase, after which time you will be returned to the previous map you were on, and have to select a day again. Failing to purchase a ticket will not prevent you from accessing the same Magical Miracle Time Registration Ticket vendor.
• Miracle Time will, as usual, occur during three hour-long periods during the day. For example, a 7/8 Magical Miracle Time Registration Ticket will enable Miracle Time during the following periods:
  • PDT (UTC -7): 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM July 7, 2022 & 1:30 AM – 2:30 AM July 8, 2022 & 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM July 8, 2022
  • CEST (UTC +2): 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM July 8, 2022 & 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM July 8, 2022 & 12:00 AM – 1:00 AM July 9, 2022
  • AEST (UTC +10): 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM July 8, 2022 & 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM July 8, 2022 & 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM July 9, 2022
• For the July 6 window, 1,800 tickets will be available initially, with an additional 900 available tickets restocking each day at 12:00 AM UTC and 12:00 PM UTC, for a total of 9,000.
• For the July 7 - 10 windows, 1,200 tickets will be available initially for each day, with an additional 600 available tickets restocking each day at 12:00 AM UTC and 12:00 PM UTC, for a total of 6,000 for each day.
• You can purchase and use only one ticket per world.
• Make sure you are free during the date you register for, these tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded!
• Players cannot enter the lobby map between 11:55 AM - 12:05 PM UTC and 11:55 PM - 12:05 AM UTC while the shops are being restocked.
• Players that purchased a ticket can no longer enter a lobby map where the registration tickets are sold.
• Once the player purchased the ticket, they must use the ticket by July 6 at 2:00 AM UTC to complete the registration.
• Purchased ticket can be used for 5 days after the purchase.
• Players can check the registered date by hovering over the cube icon on the left side of the screen.

• You cannot use skills or chairs, enhance equipment, change channels, or summon pets/familiars in the event map.
