Ethel the Billionaire is here to invest in your growth! The scrappy young entrepreneur will be providing support to all Milletians by selling Recommendation Letters for additional rewards. Additionally, rare artifacts have been discovered in Musical Math Dungeon allowing you to have 10x the loot... for a cost. Rumor is Ethel is planning even more as the event rolls on. Check out the details below!

Event Details

During the event, you'll receive the quest [Guide] Investing in the Future.
Talk to Ethel in Dunbarton to learn more of what he has to offer this time around.
- When listening to his story, you'll need to select a Main Character.
You can only register one character per account.
After talking to him, you'll automatically complete [Guide] Investing in the Future.
- You will also earn the following rewards:
  - 10,000 EXP

Musical Math Dungeon

Event Dates: Thursday, April 18th, After Maintenance - July 11th, Before Maintenance

During the event, when completing Musical Math Dungeon, you will receive Excavated Artifact (Music) x10 from the dungeon end chest.
- Each artifact can be sold as-is for 5,000 Exploration EXP or can be taken to Voight for restoration.
  - The Artifact Investigation Skill cannot be used on Excavated Artifact (Music).
  - Voight will offer to restore the artifact for the low, low price of just 50,000 Gold per artifact!
- Once an artifact is restored, it can be sold for 50,000 Exploration EXP or exchanged to Ethel for a Music Dungeon Box.

Purification Missions

Event Dates: Thursday, April 18th, After Maintenance - May 16th, Before Maintenance

Ethel will provide players with Sponsored Missions.
- These missions are for up to 2 players.
- Missions will require Recommendation Letters.
You can purchase up to 7 Recommendation Letters for 777 Gold each per week from Ethel.
- Ethel will restock his recommendation letters every Thursday at 7:00 AM Server Time.
Additional Recommendation Letters can be obtained by clearing existing Purification Missions each day, 3 times per day. (Resets at 7:00 AM Server Time)
- One Recommendation Letter has a chance to drop during each Purification Mission, regardless of the number of party members.
Innes will inform you how many reward attempts you have left based on the number of Recommendation Letters you have in your inventory.
Sponsored Missions are the same as before, with adjusted monster health and stats. The rewards are 2 to 4 times higher.
- Cleared solo: 4x increase for rewards
  - The monster has increased health, but lower defensive stats.
- Cleared by 2 players: 2x increase for rewards
  - The monster has increased health, and the same defensive stats as the existing mission.

Avalon Field Raids

Event Dates: Thursday, May 16th, After Maintenance - June 13th, Before Maintenance

Ethel will provide players with Sponsored Missions: Avalon Raid.
These missions can be completed solo or in a party with 2~8 players.

Missions will require Recommendation Letters.
You can purchase up to 7 Recommendation Letters for 777 Gold per week from Ethel.
- Ethel will restock his recommendation letters every Thursday at 7:00 AM Server Time.
Visit Innes in the Outskirts of Avalon to proceed with a Sponsored Avalon Raid.
Innes will inform you how many reward attempts you have left based on the number of Recommendation Letters you have in your inventory.
Sponsored Missions are the same as before, with adjusted monster health and stats based on the number of party members.

When successfully clearing the mission, you will receive 1x Billionaire’s Proof. These coins are stored in the Currency tab, and can be used to purchase items in Ethel’s Shop.
Mission Difficulty will depend on the number of current Billionaire’s Proof you have, ranging from Difficult Lvl 1 to Difficulty Lvl 10. Innes will inform you of the current difficulty level at anytime by talking to her.
- If partaking as a group, the difficulty is set based on the number of Billionaire’s Proof the party leader has.
- Spending Billionaire’s Proofs at Ethel's Event Shop will reduce the difficulty level, but higher valued items are worth more Billionaire’s Proofs.
Keep in mind that both solo and party challenges count towards the total number of rewards you can earn, up to 10 per week.
Only the main character can enter the missions.
If the mission fails before you are able to complete it, the Recommendation Letter will be granted back to you

Use the Billionaire’s Proof items received from Avalon Field Raid Sponsored Missions to exchange for the Relic Boxes.
Each Dragon Relic Box can be purchased once a day (resets Daily at 7:00 AM Server Time).

Visit the Alban Knights Emblem in Emain Macha to proceed with an Apostle Raid.
Sponsored Missions are the same as before, with adjusted reductions to damage dealt. The rewards are 2 to 4 times higher.
Girgashiy Mission:
- Cleared the mission within 5 minutes: 4x increase for rewards
- Cleared the mission within 7 minutes and 30 seconds: 3x increase for rewards
- Cleared the mission after 7 minutes and 30 seconds: 1x increase for rewards
Zebach Mission:
- Cleared the mission within 5 minutes: 3x increase for rewards
- Cleared the mission after 5 minutes: 1x increase for rewards
Hasidim Mission:

Mini-games + Quality of Life update:

It's time to relax with some mini-games! Check out all the newest mini-games added to the game as well as some text and title quality of life changes to help improve your fantasy life!
- Seven new mini-games added to the game to be played anytime, anywhere<sup>*</sup>
- You can now choose the text size of Speech Bubbles and Chat Logs.
- Extra Equipment Slots now allow you to register titles.
- Vanity Titles have arrived - show off your favorite title in style while still holding the stats of another.

The Stage of Trials Manager has informed us that Milletians will no longer be permitted to use the VIP Remote Shop / Repair / Bank services during the trial.
The harps in Musical Math Dungeon are now more sonorous.
Added the channel and time to the Fashion Contest Finals Entrance Pass. Come strut your stuff and showcase your favorite styles!
The cursor will now be visible after using Chain Sweep and Bachram Explosion.

The following bug fixes have been made to the game:

Fixed an issue causing Extra Equipment Slots and Jukeboxes to expire even when VIP Services are present.
Many typo fixes this update- G13/G14/G24/G25, Glenn Bearna, Tech Duinn, Farming, and Fashion Contest were the major areas covered!
The Fashion Contest registration UI has been resized to fit the text.
Fixed issues causing Pet Notes to display incorrectly and occasionally disappear.
It is no longer possible to request to fly with a character using Soar.
Under certain conditions the Shop Repurchase menu would not properly display all the re-purchasable items.
Slightly alleviated the game slowdown when a lot of bags are open.
When using music buff skills through higher ranks of Song, the durability and proficiency of the equipment in your right hand will no longer be affected unless the equipment is an instrument.
Very small Milletians with very large hair/wigs were found to be possessed by a ghost, causing them to float above the ground. With Corentin's help we have banished the spectre.
An issue where some outfit meshes may appear broken when changing equipment to the same outfit has been fixed.
Both cymbals are now properly sized on Giants when equipped with cymbals and sheet music.
The 'Complete Mission' and the 'Close' buttons no longer overlap when opening a G19~G25 Quest window.
Fixed an issue where Giants would occasionally fail to hit dungeon marbles after drinking a mini potion. Mini Giants can go back to their regularly scheduled oxymoron.
Pets will no longer relentlessly chase after opponents following a PVP match like a cat chasing after catnip.
The Pet House UI would occasionally close itself, but this has been fixed.
Shrimp Taming Bait and Taillteann Carp Bait will now stack properly.
Elemental Removers dropped from monsters and purchased from NPCs will now stack properly.
Fixed an issue where Auto Weapon Slot Conversion would not swap to proper equipment when using Party Healing.
Gathering Clams in Scuabtuinne was not properly counting towards Hoeing training.
Moving a bow to the bank via alt-click will now properly unequip the equipped arrow.
Warping via the Moongate / Mana Tunnel will no longer cause outfit motion props to disappear.
When equipped with a Control Bar with increased Control Marionette Range, an issue has been fixed where Act 1: Inciting Incident would occasionally fail to work.
Fixed an issue where Cello-playing Milletians would fail to properly leave the homestead.
A few Talent skills were able to be incorrectly used while riding a pet. This has been corrected.
Fixed an issue with the portrait on the Printed Casual Wear displaying incorrectly.
Marionettes will be able to move sooner if the target dies during the middle of Act 2: Threshold Cutter.
The Preview option in the Dressing Room was not properly displaying when a collaboration appearance was selected.
Fixed an issue where Milletians were unable to move upon using Divine Blast or Nova Obliteration.
In rare circumstances the client would close upon changing channels. This has been fixed.
Silk-Weaving Gloves were incorrectly granting their bonus while at 0 durability. They will now give no bonus in this state.
Dorcha Snatch was training improperly when used when Hot-Air Ballooning. Little known fact, Sluagh loves floating through the sky.
The Falias Artifact Restoration window will now display above your inventory.
Fixed an issue where monster AI would not properly cancel an unused Life Drain.
An issue where a previewed appearance in the dressing room was not updating under certain circumstances has been fixed.
Specifically timed gestures/blinks/etc will no longer cause Eye VFX to stop displaying.
Novice cards were not properly issued to new accounts with a hero card or elite hero card. This has been fixed.
Fixed an issue causing remaining duration messages to display incorrectly when changing channels.
An issue where the Spread Wings and Crisis Escape skills cannot be used after using a Moongate or Mana Tunnel while riding a pet after using Spread Wings has been fixed.
A bug where pet skills are not used when summoning a Kart Rider pet has been fixed.
The issue where pets could be summoned in Festia's Clobbermeister mini-game has been fixed.
Fixed an issue where Act 1: Inciting Incident would improperly move when cast on a monster outside its range.
The cat from the Academy School Uniform's outfit motion would cause characters to move awkwardly when running. This has been fixed.
An issue where the body shape is not applied during motion when wearing the Eluned Cherry Blossom Dress (M) as a Giant character has been fixed.

Bugs fixed during the March 28th Maintenance:

Corrected a floor exploit in Fahmes Ruins.
Fixed an issue where the Extra Equipment Slot duration was not reflected properly for some characters.
Fixed a few Festival of Stars event related typos, and improved the dialogue of a certain raccoon.
As grandiose as COMBAT VIP MEMBERSHIP BATTLER'S BOON / LIFE VIP MEMBERSHIP BOUNTIFUL boon are, the full names probably don't need to show on the status effect text. These have been trimmed to VIP Battler's Boon / VIP Bountiful Boon.
Made minor adjustments to the Flight Action names to make them consistent.
Improved the text on several Cooking Quest scrolls and objectives.
Despite it not being visible in-game anymore, we've fixed a decade-old EU Mabinogi typo. Finally the Brioncac has been defeated!
Found a few more strings referring to "Premium Service" and replaced them with the proper name.
Found a few Homestead items missing the "Homestead" designation on their item names.

Bugs fixed during the March 21st Maintenance:

Giants equipped with the new Two-handed Sword Motion Card (Type 2) and Shields were behaving strangely. The sheer magnitude of their power will no longer cause them to sink into the floor.
The 16th Anniversary Drawstring Pouch (Doll Bags) was incorrectly targeting Birman Bags. This has been corrected so that the Doll Bag Drawstring Pouch can now be used on Doll Bags, as expected.

The following are known bugs:

In rare circumstances when rapidly casting Arrow Revolver, players will become unable to move or attack until receiving an attack or relogging.
Several items containing ampersands in their name and description aren't showing the & symbol.
Shop items with expiration times start counting down upon the player logging in or changing channels, rather than having their countdown start when the item is purchased.
There is an issue where one-time/limited items cannot be purchased from the in-game shop, but can be on the web-shop.
There is an issue with the in-game Guild list not populating with guilds.

Mini-games + Quality of Life Update

Mini-games Anytime, Anywhere!

Mini-games have been added!

The new Mini-games menu has been added so that you can access all games anytime.
- Access this menu by pressing the ▲ (hidden button) button on the right side of the in-game taskbar and select the Mini-game button.
- Note: Mini-games may not be accessible under certain conditions, such as inside of a dungeon.
Seven single-player mini-games have been added permanently.

- Crack the Coded Box
- Card Seeker
- Sliding Puzzle
- Mouse Bopper
- Stacky Cake
The existing multiplayer mini-game, Mafia, can also be accessed from this menu.
- When you select Mafia from the list, the mini-game party creation menu will pop up and the minigame progression method is the same as before.
Some functions, including character movement, are restricted during mini-games.

Vanity Titles

Vanity Titles have been added!

You can now set the character’s title for stats and cosmetic appeal separately!
To add a Vanity Title, open your Character Info window from your Character button in the in-game taskbar (hotkey C).
- Under your Title menu, you will be able to adjust the following titles:
  - Base Title
    - 1st Title
    - 2nd Title
  - Vanity Title
    - 1st Title
    - 2nd Title
- Any stat effects of the title set as the Base Title is applied to the character.
- The cosmetic effects of the title set as the Vanity Title will appear on the character, such as 2nd title effects!
  - Vanity Titles do not apply to the stats.
  - Vanity title visual effects will be displayed instead of the Base title.

Extra Equipment Slot Adjustments

Additional additions have been made to the Extra Equipment Slot window.

A new feature has been added to the Extra Equipment Slot to allow you to set primary and secondary equipment titles for each equipment slot.

When switching equipment slots, if there is a title set for that slot, the equipment title will be switched to that title.

Chat Font Size

You can now adjust your chat font size!
- To adjust your chat font size, navigate to System → Video → Chat Font Size.
- Options for text sizes range between:
  - 11 size font
  - 20 size font
Note: This option will only adjust your font size in your chat bubbles and message log.

During the event, you will receive the quest, [Guide] Seeking a Galaxy-Brained Study Buddy.
Find Siyu in the Dunbarton Town Square.
Register a main character with Siyu.
You can only register one character per account.
You will receive the following event items after completing [Guide] Seeking a Galaxy-Brained Study Buddy:

Unlock [Event] A Thorough Review, [Event] Surefire Study Tactics and [Event] Hard Work Pays Off quests.
Standard Study Desk (Event)
50 Thick Books

Log in to receive 50 Thick Books once per day.
The event resets daily at 7:00 AM PDT.
All event quests, items, and Blacksmith Manuals will be removed when the event ends.

Daily Quest

Each day, you will receive the daily quest: [Event] A Thorough Review.
Stay online for 36 minutes or longer to complete the quest.
When you complete the daily quest, you will receive:
- 20,000 EXP
- 70 Thick Books
Each day, you will also receive the daily quest: [Event] Surefire Study Tactics.
Complete the quest every day by using the Standard Study Desk and Thick Books to copy the notes.
To copy the notes, you will need to craft a Notebook using the Thick Books.
