It’s me again – your humble marketing guy. How is your week going on so far? Did you enjoy yesterday’s devlog in which we compared our friendly megalodon to the annoying kid called Dennis? If your answer is “no” then my friend, let me help ya!
I’ve promised you no more Dennis for about one week (or maybe even more, I need to think about it), and I’m gonna keep that promise, so that’s the first wonderful thing to hear. The next one however is even better – today’s devlog will be all about the hand cannon and its different purposes in the Gas Station Simulator - Tidal Wave DLC. So, if you feel like runnin’ & shootin’ is your cup of tea, then this announcement is the right one for you. Without further ado, let’s roll! 🔥
I bet you ain’t never seen a gas jockey fly! ✈️
Imagine this – instead of doing all of this dirty work like fueling cars, boats, taking care of customers at the cash register, etc. you could just find a tiny little place and blast yourself into the sky. That’s literally what you can do with a hand cannon. You can finally embrace the true meaning of “I believe I can fly”...
Forget about broom 🧹
Who needs a broom if you could use a hand cannon and blow up every single car into the sky. Now, don’t get me wrong – if you want to stick to the broom, then I’m fine with that, but imagine this – with a hand cannon you can literally conquer the space without even going there. That has to be one of the most satisfying things to do, right? 🤔
If a customer pisses you off 👨
Look, I get it – life sometimes is tough and kicks us in our butt. Even running a gas station empire on a tropical island can sometimes lead to madness. If by any chance you run into this irritating customers who tend to litter your station with rubbish, or they’re not pleased with how they were served, you might treat them with a blasting surprise.
Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo 🦈
Yesterday, I shared a short gif of me shooting into some random places. As soon as it went live, I sat down for a while, and I drew a conclusion that I owe something better. So, here it is – this time it’s me trying to fend off a shark. Spoiler alert – I’m terrible at this 🫠
Stay up-to-date 📰
To be honest, we’ve come this far together that I don’t want to stop talking about the hand cannon, but I guess my time is over for now. Don’t hesitate to throw your feedback in the comments down below – the eye of Sewek is vigilant, so the more comments I’m gonna see, the better my next day will be. Oh…And you know – if you want to stay in the loop of everything Tidal Wave DLC, consider adding the game to your wishlist 👉👈
I hope you had a fantastic weekend full of joy and spend some quality time with your loved ones. Today, we’re still in the topic of a tropical paradise, as we’ve officially entered the launch week of Tidal Wave DLC – how exciting!
In this devlog I’m gonna cover a very specific character that is the menace of Gas Station Simulator. I’m more than 100% sure that you already know who it is gonna be. Spoiler alert – yes, it’s about Dennis. Just don’t roast me in the comments for ruining the rest of your week, deal?
Shark vs Dennis – what’s the difference? 🦈🧒
A while back in one of our announcements, I’ve shared with you very precise information that the Shark in Tidal Wave DLC will play a similar role to the one Dennis plays in the base game. It’s certainly not a 1:1 comparison, as there are some major differences between these two characters.
The first one is – you can actually scare away the shark by using a fire cannon. I know, I know – most of you (if not all of you) would love to have such an option in Gas Station Simulator (I’m among those players as well) but for now a simple toggle on/off option should do the trick.
While Dennis certainly is a pain in the butt for every Gas Station empire on Route 66, I can guarantee that he is not going to feast on your customers while they’re enjoying a sunny ride on a surfing board. He is more of an artist wanna be, so he prefers to paint your station with one of his let’s say unique works of art.
And the last and probably one of the most important differences is that the shark is not going to make this annoying, pesky noise. Like seriously – I can turn a blind eye on painting my walls, but as soon as I hear that kid, my blood starts to boil. And the worst thing – he appears mostly in those unexpected moments when you’re just relaxing and admiring the fruits of your hard work.
Stay up-to-date 📰
And that’s it for today. I hope you liked this short comparison between those two. I promise you – no more Dennis for at least a week, okay? As per usual, I’m waiting for your comments regarding the devlog, the whole Tidal Wave DLC (have you seen videos and streams around the Internet recently?), and basically anything that worries your mind. Until the next devlog!

It's been a while since we last talked about the Shady Deals DLC, and we think it's high time to unveil a bit of the curtain of what's going on in the shadows. Get ready to be immersed in a nightlife that never sleeps - All the Dots Pub, a place where boredom is a foreign concept and the night is always young.
All the Dots Pub is the heart of this DLC, a bustling epicenter of late-night skirmishes, gangs, and rivers of spilled alcohol. Imagine a place where the air is saturated with the spirit of rebellion, the floors are sticky with the remnants of the night gone by, and every evening is a story waiting to be written. Drunken customers, disgruntled bartenders, and busy staff set the stage for an experience unlike any other. And what could be more enticing than the chance to run this chaotic haven yourself?
Let's delve into the finer details of what makes the Shady Deals a must-have gas station simulator:
First, All the Dots Pub: This is no ordinary pub; it's your battlefield, kingdom, and challenge. Amid the pride and alcohol fumes, you'll encounter thugs who seem to come out of the shadows. All the Dots Pub is a melting pot of history, conflict, and opportunity, offering a unique blend of management and mayhem.
As we mentioned thugs, how about them:
Secondly, the Gangs: Coyotes, Haters, Bears, Clowns, Security. The streets outside your pub are a chessboard, and the gangs are the players. We're only scratching the surface here, but expect fierce competition as various groups vie for control and influence. Each gang brings its own flavor to the mix, creating a dynamic street scene that will directly impact your pub's fortunes.
What can you expect from these shadowy figures and rival gangs? Without giving too much away, let's just say that managing a pub in the midst of this will require more than just serving drinks. It will be about forging alliances, understanding the delicate balance of power, and maybe, just maybe, taking a side.
The Shady Deals is a deep dive into the underbelly of nightlife, where every decision can tip the scales of power. It’s a world where the night never ends, the drinks never stop flowing, and the stories never cease to amaze.
Welcome to another development update related to Gas Station Simulator - Tidal Wave DLC. Previously I’ve talked in-detail about the Mortal Business system which will be one of the most important mechanics in the upcoming DLC. Feel free to check it out here if you’d like to learn more.
In today’s devlog I’ll introduce you to the Chunchumanchu God himself. After reading this development update you’ll know exactly what to do if you want to keep the Chunchumanchu’s anger at bay. And trust me – don’t make the god angry, you won’t like him when he is angry. Without further ado, let’s roll! 🔥
How does the Chunchumanchu work?🌋
Running your gas station on a tropical island is not an easy task. Especially when there is a local god watching over your actions. In Gas Station Simulator - Tidal Wave DLC you want to make sure that Chunchumanchu is constantly happy by providing your services with proper care.
Every single action that leads to an accident will make the local god angry, resulting in the anger bar filling up (the bar itself will replace popularity, by the way). In addition, if your customers won’t be served with proper care, the anger bar will fill as well. Don’t worry tho’ – you will get a warning every single time from the Chunchumanchu itself as soon as you cross a certain threshold.
If you manage to fulfill the bar 100%, the volcano will erupt causing your customers to run. In addition, if you fail to pay back the loan, a volcano eruption will also take back some of your decorations. Think about it as an unruly biker but much, much bigger.
But every cloud has a silver lining right? It’s the same here. There are ways to please Chunchumanchu if you somehow manage to cross the line a little bit further than you should have.
For instance, you can collect special coconuts and sacrifice them in the altar which will speed up the recovery process. The further the distance, the better score you will get. By the way – the altar looks amazing, don’t you think? Looks good enough to throw a party - and a good song and dance at the party spot will help keep the god at bay. Finally, every time you make sure a client is happy with the services of your station, the god may nod his head in approval, calming down just a little bit.
Section for our friends and other titles 🔥
Before I finish, let me quickly share some exciting news from us and our friends over at Duality Games. So first thing’s first – I just wanted to let you know that we’ve just released a brand-new demo for our other game – Winter Survival. I understand that most of your prefer to spend some casual time while running your own gas station empire, but if some of you fancy more of a challenging gameplay, give Winter Survival a try 👇
Second of all, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve become the publisher of Superstore Simulator. I’m excited to tell you a little bit more about it in the future, but for now head over to the freshly announced Steam page and get as much details as you need.
And last but not least, make sure to check Barn Finders as well. From what I’ve heard they’ve been cooking somethin spicy recently, and if you combine that with a special deal that they’re running right now you’ve got the mix that you don’t want to miss.
And that’s it for today, fellow jockeys! So, how do you like this development update? What would you like to see next? Maybe there is something that you’d like to change? Don’t hesitate and throw your feedback in the comments below. I’m always here to help you, folks, so the more info I gather from you, the better our communication will be. If you want to stay in the loop of everything Tidal Wave DLC related, consider adding it to your wishlist 🙇Until the next devlog!
