The Akasch Invasion has begun! A brand-new zone has opened up for all adventurers - the Ipnya Ridge. Filled with ruins, this zone represents not only what was but what's to come. Travel to the Ipnya Ridge through a narrow path in Mysthrane Gorge, but tread carefully, as danger awaits around every turn.

Utilize brand-new weapons, become more powerful, and learn more about the Akasch and their plans. These and more in the latest update to ArcheAge and ArcheAge: Unchained.



An opening in Mysthrane Gorge will bring you back to a land filled with ruins of the ancient hub city where the Ipnysh once thrived. Traversing the ridge will be anything short of easy. While the ruins of the Ipnya remain, new structures of Akasch origin have appeared that can only mean something sinister is coming.



Experience 37 Main Story Quests to take you through the Ipnya Ridge. Alongside Ardios and Lauryla, you will begin your search for more Ipnysh Wardens and form alliances with warriors to back you for an upcoming skirmish not yet seen before in Erenor.



Assist Estio of the Crimson Watch, Historian Artena, and Researcher Aranbot on their journey to reveal the truth behind the unusual changes within Karkasse Ridgelands. Rumored to have vanished shortly after their victory against the mighty dragons that once roamed these lands, dive deeper into the lore of the ancient Nuon race.



The Ipnysh magic keeping the seal stones intact is weakening, providing the Akasch an opportunity to invade Erenor. Once the dimensional rift is open, life, as we know it on Erenor, may change forever if we can't stop them.



A brand new skillset is now available, adding 66 brand-new classes! Alongside its arrival are newly introduced Rifles as a new ranged weapon type. Bring your foes to submission from a distance in a method never before seen in Erenor.



Also added is a brand new system that allows you to power up your character equipment slots! Flex those muscles and gain even more stats; self-improvement is the way of the future.

The seasonal Cherry Blossom Festival is back in ArcheAge and ArcheAge: Unchained. On March 18, after the maintenance, gather your friends and family in Villanelle, the festival ground lined with beautiful cherry blossom trees in full bloom!

To ensure peace reigns supreme, Villanelle will experience festival law during the festival period to keep PvP out of the grounds.

Getting to Villanelle is just a teleporting away! You will find portals in Marianople, Austera, and Diamond Shores, so see you there.

What are the Festival Happenings?

From tending to the cherry blossom trees to fending off a troublesome bee, there will be plenty to keep you busy. There will be 6 Daily Quests for your participation in to receive Cherry Blossom Coins. There will also be one normal quest that can be done: defeat the Gigantic Honeybee when it shows up to ruin the festival.

Beginning March 15, 2021, participate in our Fan Art contest and show off your best and most creative illustrations - whether it's digital or traditional art, painting, freehand, watercolor, etc. - of the Gunslinger Skillset!

The Gunslinger skillset is easily recognizable by its powerful rifles - rifles that were used by Morpheus after his awakening. And now we want to see your character wielding these rifles in action!

Create illustrations of your character using the Gunslinger skillset and Shotgun weapon, then submit it to our Twitter, Facebook Posts, Instagram, or Discord Channel using #ArcheAgeGunslinger! You can enter as often as you like, but please keep in mind that you will only receive one prize if you win. Don't worry; no one leaves without a reward of some kind! Every participant of the Fan Art contest will receive a Participation Prize, so you must provide your character and server names.

The Gweonid Lantern Festival has returned. Light up the sky in memory of the brave Aranzeb in the 2021 Lantern Festival beginning February 18. After the maintenance, watch the night sky over Gweonid Forest comes alive and sparkle in thousands of lights as the zone turns to a festival period to let the East and the West come together as one in peace to honor the fallen during the fall of Auroria.

To reach Gweonid Forest, you can either travel by foot, teleport using your Teleport Book, or make use of one of the Gweonid Forest Festival Worldgates present in your Faction Base.

How do I participate?

Players level 10 and higher can begin their journey of giving thanks by speaking with NPC Denissi and assist in creating a lantern. NPCs Rojuni and Yallie offer even more ways to earn Lantern Festival Coins, too!

3 times each day, when the mysterious Yata Lantern appears, visit Mellius at 2 PM, 7 PM, and 12:00 AM UTC in Europe, or 12:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 10:00 PM PDT in North America to find out what to do with it. Mellius will hang around for an hour each time, so worry not.

Use the Lantern Candle to help light the Dimmed Yata Lantern and transform it into a Lit Yata Lantern! Once the lantern is lit, your quest will be complete, and you’ll be awarded 3 Lantern Festival Coins, 1 Glimmershine Essence, and a special Gweonid Elixir buff offering +3% Evasion, +41 Attack Speed, and -4% Cast Time for 1 hour.

Additionally, you can receive additional Lantern Festival Coins by completing Achievements!

This event ends on March 4, 2021, at 2 AM UTC, so celebrate while you can! The Festival NPCs will say their goodbyes during the regular maintenance on March 4, 2021.

ArcheAge: Unchained servers will be evolving soon, allowing you to meet new allies and forge new alliances along the way. Server Evolutions will be making their way to you this March!

The Server Evolution is scheduled to take place on March 4, 2021 for the ArcheAge: Unchained servers.

After carefully looking at the active populations of all servers, we have determined which servers will be involved in the merge process and how they will be combined. Once these servers are merged, the resulting new servers’ populations will be roughly equal to each other in terms of population.
On NA, Jergant, Stena, and Kaylin will be merged to form Akmit.
Denistrious, Runert, Tyrenos and Wynn will be merged to form Marmas.
On EU, Belstrom, Crazzian and Tinnerph will be merged to form Okape.
Gildaron, Halnaak and Alexander will be merged to form Hieronimus.

Be sure to prepare yourself for the upcoming evolution by clearing out your mailbox, selling your additional tradepacks and that's it! Your character will be evolved onto the new server after the maintenance and everything else will be taken care of. Be sure to get in your final sales before the Auction Houses lock preventing future sales.
Please note that the usage of any 7-day buffs during this time will not be compensated if they run out during the server evolution timeframe. Please use these buffs carefully!

March 2, 2021: Auction Houses will be locked. No new auctions can be created on any server that is evolving.
March 3, 2021: The Siege slated for this day will be called to prepare for the evolution.
March 4, 2021: ArcheAge: Unchained will be unavailable as we perform Evolution related maintenance.
March 6, 2021: North American and European servers will be brought back online at separate times. During these periods, we may launch a single server at a time in order to control server loads and give everyone a chance to log in. During this time there may be queues on Evolution worlds due to the number of players attempting to log in at once.
March 13, 2021: ArcheAge: Unchained Land Rush begins. EU server Land Rush will begin at 11AM UTC, and NA servers will have their Land Rush at 12PM PDT.
April 4, 2021: Candidates are qualified and announced, hero elections begin.
April 11, 2021: Evolved Servers' castle claim period.
