How do I participate?
It's easy, and the choice is yours! From an experienced How-To video or written guide on one of the many in-depth systems you feel isn't explained well in-game, or topics such as our world events like Crimson or Grimghast Rifts or maybe even all about Castles and Contribution! If you can write a guide about it, you can enter it! As long as it's about something in ArcheAge, you decide. And, flaunt your linguistic skills since your guide can be in English, German, or French.

Are you in need of some inspiration? You can browse some of our New Player Questions in our forums, on Reddit, or even our Game Guide to see the categories we cover!

All entries must be submitted to this forum thread during our entry period from January 14, 2021, to March 11, 2021. If it's going to be a long guide, feel free to link to your forum thread or video in our official thread! Sorry, written guides and videos created before this period will not be eligible for a prize. Now maybe a good time to revamp and get more in-depth on a guide you previously created! You can enter as many times as you want, but you will only receive one reward.



Yeah, helping is cool, but what are the rewards?
Helping out hundreds of fresh-faced heroes-to-be is rewarding itself, but don't worry, we have something to sweeten the deal. The more effort and complex the guide, the sweeter the reward.

The guide considered to be the most helpful (1st place) will receive an A-List Token, 30-Day Mirage Emberwild Charger, and a choice of either an Airseer, Firespeaker, or Mountcaller Storybook Pet!

The 2nd place and 3rd place rewards are an A-List Title Token and their choice of either an Airseer, Firespeaker, or Mountcaller Storybook Pet.

Fret not if you don't place as one of our grand winners because all entrants will receive an A-List Token to receive the A-List title for creating a guide in this event as long as it meets our eligibility requirements!



What are the Rules?
– All entries must be an accurate, in-depth, written, or video guide on a system within ArcheAge and/or ArcheAge: Unchained.
– Entries must be submitted via the Official Forums and should indicate the name and server of the character the entrant wishes to receive the reward on. The name and server will additionally appear on the guide on our official page unless requested otherwise. Entries received elsewhere will not be considered.
– Entries must be received between January 14, 2021, and no later than March 11, 2021, at 23:59 UTC.
– Guides and How-Tos made before the entry period are not available for entry. Sorry!

With a new year comes a brand-new ArchePass! The Oskmir ArchePass will begin on Thursday, January 14, 2021, and it will be available until March 11, 2021. The Oskmir ArchePass comes with a new title and a brand new pet - you guessed it, the menacing Oskmir! Get a Large Nayah Luna Box by defeating the Red Dragon* in Red Dragon's Keep, Kadum* and Orien in the Ipnysh Sanctuary.

To get a Medium Nayah Luna Box, you'll need to defeat the Heart of Ayanad Guardian in the Abyssal Library.

Finally, to get 1 Small Nayah Luna Box, slay either Sirothe the Infernal (Serpentis) or Dahuta (Sea of Drowned Love).

*Please note that only one (1) player will obtain the Large Nayah Luna Box after defeating these bosses.

What goodies do these Nayah Luna Boxes hold?
Let gold rain over Erenor! By opening the Nayah Luna Boxes, you will obtain varying amounts of Gold. With the Small Nayah Luna Box, you get up to 100 Gold; the Medium Nayah Luna Box offers a maximum of 200 Gold; and with the Large Nayah Luna Box, the maximum amount of Gold you can receive is 400!

You have until February 11, 2021, to get these Nayah Luna Boxes. Open them quickly and collect your Gold since these Boxes will disappear on February 18 during maintenance.



Snowball Arena
It’s never too late for wintery fun! Why? Because it’s time to start fighting opponents with Snowballs and awesome skills. That’s right, the Snowball Arena has returned! Starting January 14, gain Snowball Coins and exchange them for amazing goodies, such as furniture, image items, consumables, and more!

Join the 3v3 Arena, get the highest kill count or 10 kills total in 5 minutes and win the round for your team! You have a chance to enter the Snowball Arena up to 3 times a day. But beware of the challenges that await you, Ice Bubbles and Snowmen will also appear on the battlefield alongside your foes.

Additionally, there will be quests to accept at the Snowball Collector that provides you with additional Snowball Coins, so go check them out!

What else do I need to know?
Select one of the following buffs before the match begins:
Frozen Snowballs: Grants 2 stacks of Chill to enemies hit by Throw Snowball, which reduces their Move Speed by -3% per stack
Whirlwind Blizzard: Increases the damage dealt by Blizzard +20%
Expert Thrower: Drains Mana and decreases Cooldown -30%

The following skills will be available once inside the Arena: Dash, Throw Snowball, Blizzard, Snow Bomb, and Teleportation.

Use them to snowball people out of the Arena!

Snowball-themed Achievements!
With the Snowball Arena’s return, you will have the option to complete various Achievements, granting you a title and additional Snowball Coins.

The achievements are:

– Do you want to have a Snowball Fight? – Win 1/7/15 times and lose 1/7/15 times.
– Pierce Through the Blizzard! – Perform the Bilzzard skill 20 times.
– Faster than Anyone – Else Defeat 10 opponents.
– Standing Out from the Crowd – Defeat 20 opponents.
– Cold as Ice - Perform the Snow Bomb skill 20 times.

Participating in and completing the Arena bestows you with the following rewards:

Hello there, Adventurer! The coveted Name Change and Server Transfer system will be arriving to ArcheAge: Unchained soon! How soon, you might ask? Well, the system will be live after our maintenance on Thursday, January 14. However, the system will only be available for ArcheAge: Unchained servers for the time being.

Due to technical complications, the systems return for ArcheAge will take a big longer. Once we get updates on this system, we'll be sure to provide them through our official channels.

There have been many player requests for server merges. We are closely monitoring the population and server health of all servers and will consider the need for a Server Merge based on those factors. You will be the one who can make the difference. We understand that Server Merges aren't for everyone, so many alternative options, such as the creation of additional servers, are thoughtfully being discussed. We will announce more details regarding Server Merges when there is new information available.

When it comes to our Legacy Fresh Start servers, they will be merged with the lowest population server on their environment at the time of their merges.

During the event, festival period rules will be in effect in Marianople and Austera* to prevent PvP from occurring during the joyous season. Getting to the festival zones is pretty easy; use the festival gate in Diamond Shores.

*Please note the localization of the quest "Blessing the Basins" will direct you to Mistmerrow. However, this is incorrect and the festival is celebrated in Marianople and Austera.
