For the duration of the Skulls festival and ONLY here on Steam, the Warlords or Khorne DLC - containing the Herald of Khorne, the Skullhunter, and the Bloodthirster - will be available at a 50% discount.
During the week of our second anniversary, we want to thank the continued support from our players with a special Celebration login calendar of rewards, as well as lining up some fan favourite events.
From Tuesday to Wednesday, players can participate in the Winds of Winter Magic event. Thursday and Friday, we'll have the Frozen Warpfire event, so players can hunt the Frozen foes for great rewards.
Finally on the weekend, Players can use their armies to hunt for Warpfire Dragon armies.
The Celebration of Conquest bundle and a limited-time Daily Offer chest will also make a return, with amazing updated value!

You can now exchange Legacy Souls from your inventory, if you have any, for the Favour of your liking within the Soul Exchange at the Warlords Conclave.

During this time, all players who had earned Souls before last week's update will have them added back to their Inventory as 'Legacy Souls'. These will be tradable for your choice of Favour (at the same Rarity) within the Warlords Conclave for one month.
We have extended the Warpfire Ruination event by four hours and tweaked the Infernal Challenges time accordingly for your convenience.

Warlord Changes • Every Warlord in the game has had it’s maximum Skull Rank increased from 5 to 6. • To increase a Warlord’s Skull Rank, you will no longer require Souls, but a new type of item, Warlord Favour, this item is specific to each Warlord in the game and can be earned in multiple ways. • Every level earned while at Skull Rank 6, players will require to have obtained the Warlord’s favour. • Every loot table, challenge reward, phylactery or other location in which Warlords could have been obtained, will now grant a similar amount of Warlord Favour. • Within the Warlord’s Conclave, players will be able to trade any Souls they currently have left-over, or any newly acquired souls for both Chaos Shards and a new currency known as Ruinous Shards. • Both Warlord Crates within the buy section has been reworked to grant Warlord Favour, Chaos Shards will be used to obtain Favour for Warlords up to Rare rarity, • whilst Ruinous Shards will be used to obtain Favour for Warlords of Epic and Legendary quality. • A Warpstone Warlord Crate has been added to the store which will also grant the new favour. • All Infernal (Cross region) events which previously only awarded Warlords for a top leaderboard finish, will now award Warlord Favour for reaching the Bronze, Silver and Gold Tier. • The Warlord UI has been reworked so players can track their progress towards unlocking new Warlords as they collect Warlord favour.

New Content: Three new Tier 5 Defenses have been added to the ritual trees for the appropriate gods: • Radiance of Slaanesh • Plague Catapults • Bane Towers of Tzeentch • Added a new rare event - Warpstone Devour, a 24h Infernal event that has been balanced to grant significant rewards.
Quality of Life • The power indicators have been made more responsive to changes in your overall power value.
Changes • The ‘Mask of Blinding Hate’ no longer provides a bonus to Trap Salvaging making traps never decay, this has been changed to ‘Fortress Combat Bonus’ • Updated buttons on city and landmark view panels to more clearly indicate when a target within a siege zone can be interacted with. • Changed scouting delay to prevent scout flooding a player. It now goes up from 10 seconds for 3 consecutive scouts up to 5 minutes for more than 3. It's now also persistent when you logout and back in. • The troop loss while controlling Altdorf has been reduced from 100% to 15%.
Bug Fixes • Fixed a bug where units weren’t displayed in spoils reward chance windows. • Fixed an issue where warbands to targets within a siege zone could be started by players outside siege zones. • Fixed bug where march load applied the march combat bonus multiplier which resulted in marches seemingly having more load than they actually had. • Fixed a bug where the client wouldn’t divide rewards after defeating an NPC army with a warband. • Fixed a bug where item set bonuses wouldn’t appear under the champion equipment buff list. • Fixed a bug where the construction wagon did not get refunded if any encampments were removed when invading or relocating in the client. • Fixed a bug where too many or too few units would be sent to the Cave when healing with the Cave research. • Fixed a bug where the healing queue could desync you when requesting help. • Fixed a bug where instant healing cost would not take into account currency taken by other units in the healing queue. • Fixed a bug where healing cost missing resources would have a slightly different ordering. • Fixed a bug where clicking on tiles on the world map would sometimes open the sawbones or a unit production window

Ulthuan Changes
• Increased the number of Silver Leaf Nodes that spawn in Ulthuan. • To gather Silver Leaf, each unit of Silver Leaf now required 400k load. • Added new level 20, 25 and 30 Armies to Ulthuan. • The Elfs have reinforced their Citadels, the forces in them will now be more challenging to defeat. • Increased the number of Armies and Foes which spawn in Ulthuan. • The Invasion of Ulthuan event is very much a PvP focused event, as such players will no longer be able to shield within this region, as such teleporting home from the region however will flee and prevent enemy marches or warbands hitting you, there will however be a 1 hour cooldown placed upon you to stop you returning to Ulthuan. • Improved the new Alliance Quest panels and the Ulthuan challenge panel to allow players to see the contents of all Rewards which can be earnt within the zone, including the new Alliance Caches and Treasures of Eataine.
Gameplay Improvements
• Improved buy and use speed up functionality and added a tooltip for using speeds from the Inventory. • Increase the number of level 7 resources tiles that appear in any region over 180 days in age. • Level 8 resource tiles will now start appearing in all regions over 180 days in age. • A small amount of 9 resource tiles will now start appearing in all regions over 180 days in age. • Reworked the Boon of Slaanesh event to further increase the spawn rates based on the above 3 changes. • Reduced the percentage of permanent troops dying in Empire Cities (excluding Altdorf) from 40% to 30%. • Reduced the percentage of permanent troops dying when attacking enemy players from 60% to 50%. • The resources generated from the Slaughter Pens, Quarry, Blast Furnace and Lumber Mill have been increased by 50% on all levels. • Increased Warehouse capacity by 50% to align with the increase from resource structures. • Reduces the time it takes to heal all units in the Sawbones by 10%. • Reduces the resource cost to heal all units in the Sawbones by 30%

• Challenges which require you to defeat NPC armies, will no longer gain points from defeating units within Empire or Elven Cities. • Added teleport awaiting animation for cities on the world map while they are awaiting teleport. • Disabled march boost button when the target capacity is lower than the maximum march capacity, and display the correct max troop capacity when limited by the target. • Added loading screen when visiting Ulthuan and transitions from other regions. • Added reward chance info to Ulthuan rewards • Changed the behaviour to skip the march origin stage always, if only one city could be the origin. For example when reinforcing from a single outpost. • Added a button to view breakdown of units currently in the healing queue of the Sawbones. • Added “Buy with Alliance Coins” option to trial refresh panel in the daily trials window.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed a bug in the combat breakdown that prevented the defender results from appearing. • Fixed a bug where some Foe and Army descriptions would sometimes not load their descriptions when viewing their stats. • Fixed an issue where the reported message was not passed through when reporting a message to support. • Fixed a desync between the client and the server when teleporting with your own marches incoming but not originating at your Chaos Keep. • Fixed a bug where it would still treat you as part of the Region War if you relocated to a region without a Region War. • Fixed an issue where the client would desync when you visited your own region and attempted to relocate there while invading another Region. • Fixed an issue where cached Empire Cities would not be updated in the cache, which could cause some display issues. • Fixed an issue where Empire Cities that were ablaze would display "Shield Falls In:" instead of "Attackable In:". • Fixed a bug where some marches would not complete instantly when teleporting. • Fixed a bug where units would not get removed properly when switching origins resulting in increased units. • Alliance spoils will now only display in purchases when you have an alliance, because they can only be granted to an alliance. • Fixes some issues where challenge rank points + position with the leaderboard points could display incorrectly. • Item purchases are now correctly capped to the max value. • Fixed a translation issue with the alliance item inventory header.
