Hi, Villagers! Do you know that you can test out upcoming updates for Medieval Dynasty or go back to the past and play previous versions of the game? All you need to do is add dedicated branches of the game on Steam!
How to use steam branch 1. To add a branch, right-click on Medieval Dynasty in your Steam Library 2. Choose the Properties option in the drop-down menu 3. In the Properties window, select the “Betas” Tab 4. Enter the Beta Test Code in ”Private Betas” window 5. When you access the branch, you can select one of the following branches:
Public_testing: This is a version of the game that has early access to the new updates and patches before they are released on the public branch.
Password: MedievalStaging
Pre_co-op This is the last version of Medieval Dynasty before the release of the Co-Op Mode Update. It doesn’t include any changes to the gameplay, mechanics and economy.
Password: bringmebackintime
Last_ea If you really want to go back in time, this is the last version of the game before the 1.0 release.
Password: 3v491vMVZnvp3
After selecting the version, Steam should download it immediately.
Important!
Before changing the branch, make sure to back up your saves in case of corruption.
Saves created on one branch may not work on another, including the public one.

Main quests can bug out and be given to npc every single season insted of once per playthrough
Main quest in Piastovia couldn't be discovered
If client asks spouse to pay taxes then the taxes are paid but quest is not completed properly (persists on host and other clients)
Missing text for what to bring in some quests from The Valley map
Fishing with fishing spear as a client gives fish on server side (client doesn't see them in their inventory)
If player had items from category "misc" or "crafting" (but the ones that didn't need to use condition) below 100% then their condition sets to full.

In some quests, some NPCs try to do the same things (sit on the same stool or bench, work on the same workbenches)

How to join the public staging?
Some of you probably have not done this before, so here is a small guide:
Prerequisite: You must have Medieval Dynasty in your library – obviously.
The procedure
Open your game library.
Right Click on Medieval Dynasty there.
Open properties.
Select the tab "BETAS".*
Enter this password below the dropdown in the field:
MedievalStaging
Press CHECK CODE
Use the drop down and select “release_build_staging”. This is the public stage.
Press Close
Steam should now download this version of the game.

The Oxbow launches on Steam today, 7 December 2023. The version for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and other PC platforms will be released in Q1/Q2 of 2024. The update includes the Co-Op mode for up to 4 players, and several other features like the aforementioned new map, character creator and a playable female character.
In the near future, we will continue to improve our game to give you the best possible experience. However, as we reached the Co-Op Mode Update launch on Steam, it's a great moment to look ahead and update our Road Map.
🎮 Our next goal is to launch the Co-Op Mode Update on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and other PC platforms in Q1/Q2 of 2024.
